I sent the boys a smile as they set down.

"Thank you Iggy." I said as he handed me a cup of Ebony.

"So how's motherhood?" Prompto asked with a smile.

"Good. I didn't expect this much crying, though." I said with a sigh.

"Don't worry it's normal for babies to cry so much." Ignis said calmly.

"What? Oh, the baby is fine. I was talking about Cor." I said with a sigh.

They sent me a look and I stood up and opened the babies bedroom door. Instantly the boys heard crying.

"She's so beautiful!" Cor cried.

"Wow, never thought the Marshal could be so emotional." Gladio said with a laugh.

"He's been doing this since we brought her home." I said as I went and set back down.

"(Y/n)! She's holding my finger!" Cor yelled happily.

I heard more crying and took a sip of my ebony.

"Cor! The prince and his friends are here."

I heard the crying stop and then Cor walked in holding our daughter.

"Hello boys. Sorry she was crying so much... new born babies, you know." He said with a smile.

He set down beside me and I sent him a look.

"You are not blaming our daughter over your emotional outbreak." I said sternly.

"It is her fault though." He said calmly.

I took her from him and he sent me a look of shock.

"Baby momma, I can steal her from you." I said calmly.

He grumbled something out and I rolled my eyes.

"You boys want to hold her?" I asked with a smile.

"I'd love to!" Prompto exclaimed.

I handed her over to Prompto and instantly saw Cor's eyes light up.

"What?" I asked with a laugh.

"My son is holding my daughter." He said through tears.

"Cor.... Prompto is not your-"

"Shut up and let me adopt him." He said sternly.

I held my hands up and shook my head. After the boys left I decided it was bedtime.

"You are gonna spoil her rotten if you keep holding her." I said as I carried her to her room.

"But I want to give her love." He said calmly.

"Babe, she knows you love her... that is without a doubt.... but she will need to learn that we won't always be there for her."

"Oh I will. I will always be there, waiting by the phone for if she needs me."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled up at him.

"Cor Leonis, I love you." I said as I pulled him into a kiss.

He smiled against my lips and pulled me closer.

"I love you too." He said softly.
