~(Y/n)'s POV~

"A new world, huh?" I mumble as Aqua and I travel through the pathways. Even though I couldn't see Aqua's face, I knew she was smiling. "New worlds are always exciting," she comments. I couldn't help but smile under my armor too.

"They are, until the Unversed ruin everything. Maybe we can catch a break this time." Aqua laughs at my words. "When do we ever catch a break?" She asked. A small sigh leaves my lips. "We never do."

A bright light blinded us after our short conversation. We landed on soft grass that opened up to a wide and beautiful plane of flowers. We hopped off our Keyblade Gliders to feel solid ground under our feet. "Wow, this place is beautiful," Aqua gasped in amazement.

"Master Eraqus said this world is called Eos. We're also supposed to be looking for the King of Lucis. Now, where to start?" I ask as I look around. "We don't have a map either. Let's see if there's a town around. Someone could give us directions," Aqua suggests. I nod in agreement and we head out to find a town.

An hour passes by and we finally found a place named Lestallum. The city was beautiful and something we've never seen before. I was too amazed by my surrounding and I accidentally ran into someone. "I'm so sorry," I quickly apologize. I glanced at who I ran into. A man with tattoos on his arms and a big build stood in front of me.

"No worries. You seem new to Lestallum," he said with a smile. "Um, yes. My friend and I are here looking for help. We're looking for directions to Insomnia," I told him. "Hey, we were heading back to Insomnia," a blonde boy spoke up.

"We would really appreciate your help," Aqua said while taking her place next to me. "We don't have enough in the Regalia," a boy with raven hair said. "No problem. We've got our own rides," I said and smirked.

"If I may, are you looking for someone?" A man with glasses asked. Aqua and I nodded in unison. "We're looking for King Regis. Master Eraqus sent us," I said. Their eyes widened when I mentioned King Regis and Master Eraqus' names. "My father mentioned he was expecting someone from him," the raven haired boy said.

"I'm (Y/n) and this is my friend Aqua. We are Master Eraqus' students." I smiled at them after I introduced us. They all smiled back and gave their names as well. The four of them hopped in a black car while Aqua and I summoned our Keyblades. Our blades had caught the attention of everyone in the car.

"Ready?" Aqua asked. I nodded and we activated our armor. All four watched us closely as we threw our Keyblades into the sky. A small bright light surrounds our Keyblades within seconds. Once the light vanishes, our gliders land in front of us. We hop on them and see all their jaws were dropped to the floor. "Lead the way," I said to Ignis. He nods and starts the car.

After an hour traveling, I sensed an Unversed nearby. "Aqua," I called her name with a cautious tone. "I feel it too," she replies. I got close enough to the car and told Gladio. "Get to safety. Aqua and I will handle it!" I yell over the engine. "We can help!" He shouts back. I shook my head. "Normal weapons don't work on Unversed. Only Keyblades."

Gladio seemed reluctant but nodded in the end. As I pulled away from the car, the Unversed made an appearance. Multiple Unversed showed up and tried to stop the car. "Aqua, take care of the stragglers. I'll get the ones in the front!" I cleared the path for the others as they drove over a few Unversed. It wasn't enough to wipe them out, but it was enough to keep them away from the car.

I finished off the rest as the car entered the city. Aqua and I stayed in the air until we saw the car stop. We jumped off, making our gliders and armor disappear. Aqua and I were led to the throne room by Gladio. King Regis greeted us kindly. "I've heard much about you two. You are (Y/n) and Aqua, students under Master Eraqus. I welcome you to Insomnia," King Regis said.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, King Regis," Aqua said. "Master Eraqus talks about you very highly," I added. We give all the information about why Master Eraqus sent us. "I see. Please, do not rush. I shall prepare rooms for both of you." King Regis gave us a farewell smile and we left the throne room.

Noctis, Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio were waiting for us just outside the throne room. "Did you all eavesdrops?" I place my hands on my hips and raise an eyebrow at them. "Um... maybe?" Prompto shrugged like a guilty child. "We heard everything," Noctis admits.

"How long will you be with us?" Ignis asked. "We will only be here until we've found our target. A powerful Unversed passed through the pathways and ended up on Eos," Aqua answered. Our small conversation was cut short when a maid showed us to our rooms.

Once I had been shown to my room, I decided to go to Aqua's room. "Hey, wanna train a little?" I ask her. "Yeah, let's go train." We were able to find the training room with help from a maid. Our training began with a short round of just our Keyblades. The next rounds we were able to use magic. Our points were tied and we were on our last round. I was able to knock Aqua off her feet and receive the winning point. "Wow, (Y/n). You've definitely improved," she compliments. I help her up and smile. "You have too, Aqua."

"Impressive." We turn around and saw Gladio. The others were watching us closely as well. "How long have you all been there?" I ask. "The whole time," Noctis said with a grin. "How about a round with me?" Gladio asked with a smirk. I glanced at Aqua and she told me it was alright.

"Alright, I accept." I headed to the opposite end of the room and summoned my Keyblade. "I will let you have the first move, Gladio." He summoned his sword and attacked without hesitation. Our battle didn't last long. I was able to use my shotlock attack and catch Gladio off-guard.

After that, I was able to get behind him with ease and win the round. "Well, the little lady has some moves," he comments as his sword disappears. I do the same with my Keyblade. "You weren't bad at all," I compliment. Prompto, Noctis, Ignis, and Aqua congratulated me for my win against the brute. I overheard Prompto ask Aqua if he could challenge her. I couldn't help but smile.

"Wanna bet on who's going to win?" Gladio asked as he bent down to my height. "There's no way I would bet against my best friend. I also assume you wouldn't bet against Prompto." A smirk formed on Gladio's face. "I might have to this time." In the end, Aqua had one.
