~(Y/n)'s POV~

I was currently in my snow leopard form. Noctis was busy messing with my ears while I flicked him with my tail. He just chuckled and continued to play with my ears. After more failed attempts to stop Noctis, I decided to growl and glare at him.

"Alright, alright. I'll stop," he said and put his hand down. I make sure his hands are to himself before I curl up. Gladio and Prompto were busy training while Ignis was preparing dinner. Ever since I kissed Noctis, he's been stuck to my side. I wanted to ask why, but I didn't wish to pry.

Suddenly Noctis got a call from someone named Cor. A dark look passed over Noctis' face, but it soon disappeared when he noticed I was watching him. A sigh escapes Noctis' lips as he hangs up.

"What was that about?" Prompto asked, joining us from his training. Noctis said a man named Cid contacted Cor. Apparently this Cid needs help from us. "Guess we're going to Hammerhead first thing in the morning," Gladio said as he sat in a chair around the warm flames of the fire.

"Yeah, it sounded too important to pass up," Noctis replied. I saw Ignis was finished with making dinner and I transformed to help him out. "Thank you,
(Y/n). I know a few here could learn a thing or two from you," he said as he glared at the three men around the fire. Luckily, they didn't hear what he said. I giggled and smiled at the advisor.

"Don't worry. I'll eventually whip them into shape with a few lessons I've got on my mind." My words had brought a smile to Ignis' face. He handed out the plates while I handed out drinks. I sat on my knees next to Noctis. I peeked at him from the corner of my eye and saw he was pushing his vegetables around.

I roll my eyes at his childish behavior. Never in all the years I've been in this world have I seen someone as old as Noctis push his food around. A small sigh slips through my lips as I kept peeking at him.

"You know, vegetables are good for you," I said as I poked his cheek. He looked up at me with those mesmerizing blue eyes. They were filled with distain for vegetables. "(Y/n), none of us can get him to eat everything on his plate," Prompto said.

A small smirk found its way to my lips. "Oh, really?" Noctis swallows hard and scoots away from me. I laugh at his reaction and smile. "Don't worry. You're safe... for now." This made Noctis scoot even further from me. The other three laughed as they watched me mess with him.

-Next Morning-

We pack up everything and head to Hammerhead. This will be my first time in a town. I'm really excited. I was in the backseat with Gladio and Noctis. Before we left, I transformed so we would have more room in the back. As we watch the scenery pass by, Noctis' hand gravitated towards my head. He's been petting me without knowing. I guess it's become a habit for him.

Ignis pulls in a repair shop and parks the car. I hop out of the car before anyone else gets out. Suddenly I felt myself being picked up and held close to someone. "You're so cute!" A woman with blonde hair held me in her arms. I could hardly breathe from how tight she was holding me.

I squirmed in her grip, trying to free myself. "Uh, Cindy? I think you're suffocating her," Prompto said. "Oh! Sorry, darlin'." She sets me down on the ground gently. Now I was able to breathe properly. I lay down in the ground while they ask Cindy about Cid.

All four of them disappeared into the garage while Cindy stayed with me. She kneeled in front of me with a smile. "I've heard about human hybrids. Are you one of 'em?" I pushed myself into a sitting position and nodded. She trailed her fingers through the fur on my head all the way down to my back.

"Y'know, I saw how the prince looked at you," she comments. I tilt my head in confusion. This made Cindy laugh a little. "You haven't notice yet? I'm surprised." Cindy looked like she was in deep thought. I placed my paw on her leg to get her attention. "That's it!" She suddenly shouts.

"Wanna play a small prank on him?" She asked with a mischievous grin. I nodded with excitement and listened to her plan. She told me to hide behind the car and wait for her signal. "I'll go and tell him. You'll see how much he cares about ya." Cindy readied herself and ran into the garage.

I could hear her frantic shouts from here. She was telling Noctis about me going missing. At least I couldn't laugh loudly in this form, but I could smile broadly. A few seconds pass and Noctis comes storming out of the garage.

"(Y/n)!" He frantically searches around for me while desperately calling my name. I quickly hid under the car as he began to search nearby. After minutes of searching, Noctis crashes to his knees. His shoulders slump forward as I hear him whisper my name.

I took my chance and got out from under the car. I transformed into my human form and approached Noctis slowly. Each step I took was quiet. When I was able to touch him, I sat on my knees. I tapped his shoulder to get his attention. His whole body snaps around to face me.

"Cindy was right," I said with a smile. Noctis' eyes widened at the sight of me. He didn't hesitate and wrapped his arms around my smaller form. His arms tightened as I hugged him in return. After a long hug, I pulled myself free and pecked him on the lips.

"I'd never leave you, Noct."
