~(Y/n)'s POV~

We arrived in a small town called "Hammerhead" a few days after the incident on the road. This was my first time inside a town that was somewhat quiet. I usually stick to deserted roads and flourishing forests. They were more peaceful than cities and towns. Too many loud people made my ears ring which gave me a headache.

"Repair shop?" I ask as Ignis pulls in a small garage. "Yes. The Regalia needs to be checked," he replied simply. "I should really learn more about human customs," I mumble to myself. "Why is that?" Ignis questioned. I shrugged as I hopped out of the car. "Your people have strange behaviors I've never seen in other species. It's... refreshing."

Ignis smiled as we walked out of what is called a "garage". We walked side-by-side through the small town of Hammerhead. "I thought you would be familiar with many customs," Ignis said. I shook my head. "I may be able to turn into a human, but I'm not used to the way your kind live. I've been a wolf my whole life. Instinct takes over before common sense. I've only been able to turn human for a couple of years. It's nice to walk on two legs instead of four."

I even told him about the hunters and how they figured out I could turn human. This was the first time in my life someone actually cared to hear my story. It made me so happy that I couldn't hide it. We walked through Hammerhead, just the two of us. The others were too busy chatting with Cid and Cindy to care about what we were doing.

Suddenly we heard a loud noise. It sounded like a truck engine. We turn around and see a truck speeding straight towards us. Ignis grabs me and pulls us to safety as the truck screeches to a halt. A group of five men exited the truck with hate burning in their eyes. Ignis hid me behind his back as the men approached us. I noticed they had pistols and swords with them. I peeked over Ignis' shoulder to see them, but not enough for them to see me.

"Oh no..." I mutter. These guys were friends with the hunters Gladio and Ignis scared off earlier. I shrunk and unconsciously clung to Ignis. I could feel glares from the hunters pierce through Ignis and hit me directly. "How about you step aside so you don't get hurt?" The lead hunter said to Ignis.

"No." Ignis responded with a strong and unwavering voice. The lead hunter growled and aimed a pistol at Ignis. I gasped and tried to jump out from behind him, but Ignis held my hand tightly to prevent me from moving away from him. The hunter cocked the pistol and I couldn't stand to see Ignis get hurt because of me. I pried my hand free from his and jumped from behind his back. "(Y/n)!" Ignis shouts my name.

"So, the wolf in sheep's clothing decides to stand up for herself," one hunter laughed.

"I can't believe I didn't do this years ago..." I mutter. "Speak up, girly! We can't hear you!" One hunter taunts. I push all my hesitation aside and unleash my true power. I transformed into a white wolf with four tails. I had a tail of water, fire, lightning, and ice. My eyes met Ignis' and saw they were wide in shock. I averted my eyes and directed a glare towards the hunters. Most of them took a few steps back while their leader only glared back.

"Now you're an even better prize!" He shouts. Ignis summoned his daggers and tried to attack. I stood in front of him so he couldn't enter the fight.
"(Y/n), let me help," he said as he ran a hand through my white fur. I just stared at him with my (e/c) eyes. "Please, let me help," he begged once again. I shook my head and put a small barrier around him. He banged on the barrier in a desperate attempt to break it.

"Let's get this over with," one hunter mumbles. I turned back to the men and growled at them. They all flinched at my low growl. The hunters prepared all their weapons and charged at me. I made the ground under them icy. They slipped and some fell on top of each other. I couldn't help but laugh at the scene. The leader and two other men kept running at me. The ice didn't even hinder their movements.

Next, I casted fire and it formed a ring around them. "Shoot her!" The leader shouts. They began firing at me and I stopped their bullets with a wall made of ice. I shot lightning at them which fried their pistols. If they wanted to kill me, they'll have to attack head-on. The ring of fire disappeared as I howled. The hunters covered their ears and I took the advantage. I stormed after them and knocked three unconscious. Now there were only two remaining.

"W-what do we do?!" One shouts. The leader grits his teeth and readies a broadsword. "I'll be the one to kill her!" He shouts. I roll my eyes at the man. There's no way he could kill me by himself. As he approached me, I used water to push him back. Finally, I sent lightning coursing through the waves towards the man. He screamed in pain as lightning passed through his body. The last hunter ran away, screaming in fear.

I sigh in relief as I transform back to my human self. The barrier around Ignis disappeared and he ran over to me. He spun my body around to check if I was injured. I cupped his cheeks in my hands and it stopped him in his tracks. "Iggy, I'm tougher than I look. And... you would be the first to know if I was hurt." I saw his body relax at my words.

I smiled at his relaxed expression. Before I could speak up, a soft and warm pair of lips landed on mine. It was a short kiss, but my mind was fuzzy from the contact. "Even though we've known each other for only a few days, I have come to care for you very much, (Y/n)."

I just stood in front of him, mouth agape like a fish out of water. Concern washed over Ignis' face as he saw my reaction. "Are you alright?" I shook away the fuzziness and smiled. I responded with a deeper kiss than before. Ignis was shocked at my actions but kissed back immediately.

"Aw, they're so cute together~" Ignis and I break the kiss to see Noctis, Prompto, and Gladio smirking at us. I soon became a blushing mess and hid my face in Ignis' chest. I heard him chuckle a little at my actions. Then I heard a click and peeked out from his chest. Prompto had taken a picture and my blush deepened. Ignis wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed the top of my head. The others were laughing, but we ignored them.

Ignis ran a hand through my (h/c) hair gently.
"C-can we go somewhere that those three aren't?" I ask. Ignis chuckled at my question. "Sadly, no. They will follow us everywhere like lost puppies." I sigh in annoyance and let Ignis hold me. "We better get some alone time..."
