~(Y/n)'s POV~

"I should've chosen a better place to stay..." I mumble to myself as I trudge through the frozen forest of Icelles. Everything was frozen solid. No life existed in this place, except for me. I came here to escape a group of hunters who've been chasing me for months. They didn't follow me into Icelles which I'm thankful for.

My wolf ears suddenly popped out as I heard a noise from close by. It sounded like a group of men, but I knew it wasn't the hunters. These voices were too different from theirs. I transformed into my ice form in a flash.

(A/n: I will only be using the ice, lightning, fire, and water forms from this picture.)

I hid behind a tree and spied on the group. They seemed lost as they walked around aimlessly. The one with blonde hair had slipped on the ice and fell face-first on the hard, cold ground. He groans in pain while the man with tattoos helped him up. I couldn't sense any malevolence from them and decided to approach them slowly.

"W-wolf!" The blonde one shouts. A man with glasses spun around and pointed his daggers at me. I took a few steps back and his eyes widened in shock. "She seems to be harmless," the man spoke up. Their eyes all met with both of my (e/c) ones.

"Maybe she can help us?" The one with raven hair ponders. I howl and let him know I could help him and his friends. "We'll take that as a yes," the man with glasses said with a smile.

They began to follow me as I headed towards the exit of Icelles. "I-its freezing cold!" The blonde shouts. I decided to transform into my fire form to keep him and the others warm. "T-thanks," he said with a warm smile. "Wait, you were just ice. Now you're fire. How did you do that?" The raven haired one asked me. "Noct, she's a wolf. I don't think she can talk," the one with tattoos said while he rested a hand on his friend's shoulder.

I mentally sigh and decide to go back to my human form. "I control four elements," I stated. No one said a word as they stared at me in amazement. "What? Never seen a girl before?" I cross my arms over my chest. "You were just a flame wolf. How is this possible?" Glasses asked. I explained my whole situation and it seems they accepted my explanation. At least I don't have to go into greater detail.

"My name's (Y/n). I'm sorry for not saying anything earlier."

"No, do not apologize. I am Ignis. This is Noctis, Prompto, and Gladiolus."

"It's nice to meet you all. I'll still be your guide until we exit Icelles."

Prompto knocked his fist against one of the frozen trees. "So that's what this place is called!" As I lead them to the exit, Ignis strikes up a conversation with me. "(Y/n), you said you control four elements. Besides ice and fire, what are the other two?" Oh, I completely forgot about that part. I'm glad he asked. "I also control lightning and water. Whatever element I wish to use, my wolf form changes to that element."

We continued our little conversation until we reached the edge of Icelles. "Here we are." I stop in my tracks before I step outside the frozen forest. Ignis seems confused at why I wouldn't proceed any further. "(Y/n), what do you plan to do?" He asked. "Well... I plan to stay here." I gesture to the frozen forest. "But it's freezing! Not to mention, there's no other life," Prompto joined in. "Why do wish to stay here?" Ignis questions. I sigh and decide to tell him about the hunters.

I didn't leave a single detail out. "Come with us," Ignis said. "Yeah, we've got room," Noctis said. I wish I could but then I'll be found again by the hunters. I'd be putting them in danger. "If you're worried about the hunters, we'll make sure to deal with them if they show up," Gladio said confidently. It seems they have read my mind. I glance back into Icelles and countless questions cross my mind. What would I eat? Where would I get water? How would I survive? I couldn't stay in my fire form too long or it will wear me out. Then what would I do to counter the cold?

I decided to go with them. After an hour of walking, a black car came into view. "Prom, sit in the back," Ignis said. "What?! Why?!" The blonde asked. "I will not have a young lady sit in the backseat with Gladio and Noct. She will sit in the front with me." Prompto sighed in defeat and sat in the back with Noctis and Gladio.

I thanked Ignis as he helped me into the car. With once last glance at Icelles, my resolve became even stronger. I watched as it got smaller and smaller behind us. "I just hope those hunters still think I'm there," I mumble to myself.

Hours pass and we were still on the road. I heard an engine that didn't belong to the Regalia. "Oh no..." I turn around in my seat and spot the hunters' truck. "What the hell is that?" Gladio asked. "It's the hunters," I answer. They speed up and try to run us off the road. Ignis slams his foot on the gas and speeds past them. "I'll get them off your tail," I said. I prepared to jump out, but Ignis grabbed my wrist to stop me. "It's too dangerous."

"Trust me, Ignis." I stared into his green eyes with my (e/c) ones. He let me go and I hopped out of the car. I transformed into my lightning form before my feet hit the ground. The hunters slowed down once they saw I had jumped out of the car. I ran and jumped on the hood of the truck. They tried to shoot me, but missed every time. Lightning bounced all around us as I shocked the engine. Smoke began to rise and I jumped off. The hunters swerved off the road and crashed. The engine had caught fire and the flames kept growing.

I transformed into my water form and put the flames out. I kept on my guard until I spotted the hunters crawling out of the truck. I kept my distance and made sure not to approach them carelessly. One hunter spotted me and aimed a pistol in my direction. Before I could move, Ignis came out of nowhere and knocked the gun out of the man's grasp. Prompto and Noctis ran over to me to see if I was hurt. Gladio picked one hunter up by the collar before he could do anything. "Get out of here," he growled. The hunter flinched in fear. Ignis handled the other one and soon, all the hunters were running away.

"They shouldn't be bothering you anymore, (Y/n)," Gladio announced. I thanked him and everyone else. Ignis came over and scanned my body for injuries. "I'm fine. No scratches or bruises," I tell him. He sighs in relief which made me giggle lightly. I jumped up and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks for worrying, Iggy."
