~3rd Person POV~
"Prom, calm down!" Noctis grabs Prompto by his shoulder. The blonde shrugs his shoulder to get out of his friend's grasp. "Not until we get her back!" He yells back. "Of course we are going to get (Y/n) back, no matter what," Ignis said. Prompto sat on the bed with his head in his hands. Noctis sat down next to him to comfort his friend. "I can't believe she did that..." He mumbled. "She saved you from Ardyn, Prom. (Y/n) took your place because she loves you," Noctis said.
Gladio came over and patted Prompto's back. "We're not going anywhere without her," he reassured him. "Thanks, guys." Prompto laid down on the bed and pulled out his camera. There were countless of pictures of (Y/n) doing a number of things. Laughing, pouting, smiling, and even glaring. Prompto felt he had all of her emotions caught in one place. A stray tear flowed down his cheek. "She sacrificed her freedom for mine. Who knows what Ardyn is going to do to her..."
"Another reason why (Y/n) is our top priority right now," Ignis stated. "The airship vanished just west of here. What's in that direction?" Noctis asked. Gladio pulled out a map and laid it on the coffee table. "Uh, nothing. It's a straight shot to the ocean." Prompto flew up and ran over to the others. "That can't be right!"
"Maybe they have a hidden base near the ocean?" Noctis pondered. "It's highly possible. Shall we head out?" Ignis asked. They all nodded and got into the Regalia. After hours of driving, they reach a strange looking building. They got out of the Regalia and observed the building. It wasn't big, but it stood out against the ocean behind it.
"There are no guards which is strange. If they were keeping someone here, they would have posted guards at the entrance incase the prisoner were to escape," Ignis stated. "Unless..." Noctis began but didn't finish. "What? Unless what?" Prompto asked, trying to keep his fear and worry for (Y/n) in check. "I shouldn't say it." This made Prompto freak out. "Noct, tell me!"
Noctis sighed and looked at his best friend. "It's possible they're torturing her to the point where she can't even move. That's probably why there are no guards out here." Prompto's eyes widened at the prince's words. Without thinking, he started running towards the base as fast as he could. "Prom!" Gladio shouted and went after him. He caught Prompto before he could enter the building.
"Let me go!" Prompto shouts while squirming in Gladio's grip. "Calm down! If you charge in there without a plan, you'll be killing us and (Y/n)!" Gladio yells back. Prompto stopped squirming in realization. Gladio noticed he stopped and let him go. Ignis stepped in to appease Prompto's worry. He told them of a plan he had thought of and decided to stick with it.
Noctis, Gladio, and Ignis would handle any guards or Magiteks while Prompto searched for (Y/n). He ran through the complex without stopping. While searching for her, Prompto only ran into a few Magiteks. He disposed of them quickly to continue his search for the (h/c) haired girl. As he ran, he learned most of the base was underground.
"She's gotta be on the lowest level," he said to himself. Prompto found the stairs a few minutes later. "Really?!" He shouted in frustration at how many flights there were. "Well, at least I'm going down," he said positively. Prompto began his long journey down the stairs. After what felt like hours, he finally reached the bottom level.
~(Y/n)'s POV~
"Damn, she's a tough one."
"She'll eventually break, just like they all do."
I could hear the guards who beat me talking. They laughed with evil smirks on their faces. I wish I could do something, but my whole body was in pain. I couldn't move any part without having a searing pain shoot through my whole body. The floor was cold and hard. The only warmth I felt was the blood dripping from my wounds.
My mind was foggy and my vision was blurry. The guards left me to do whatever else they do besides beat me up. I tried to sit up but fell in a heap on the ground. I couldn't even drag my body a few inches.
I closed my eyes and my foggy mind cleared a little. A name I've always loved popped into my mind. Prompto. I wonder what he's doing right now? Maybe they've already headed back to Insomnia? Different questions raced through my mind. "(Y/n)!" Now I'm hearing things. "What did they do to you?" Suddenly I felt my body being pulled to someone else's.
I opened my eyes slowly to see familiar blonde hair. "P-Prom?" I said in a raspy voice. "I'm here," he whispered. "H-how did you f-find me?" Prompto smiles down at me. He told me everything up to the point where he found me. "I'm getting you out of here," he said. He picked me up in his arms and carried me out of the base. The others had taken care of all the enemies.
"Prom, you found her!" Noctis shouted happily. "We need to treat her wounds. Being her to the car," Ignis said. Prompto nodded and took me to the Regalia. He laid me in the backseat and Ignis tended to my wounds. "You are lucky, (Y/n). None of these wounds are fatal. You'll need rest and a few elixirs to help. After a week, you'll be back to your normal self." Ignis finished wrapping the wound on my arm with a bandage. "That's a relief..." Prompto crashed to his knees on the ground at Ignis' words.
"We should head out before reinforcements arrive," Gladio said. "Yeah, (Y/n) needs to rest. Let's head to Hammerhead. It's the closest town near here," Noctis informed us. We all agreed with the prince. Prompto hopped in the back and helped me up. He pulled me into his arms and I laid my head against his chest. "Get some sleep, (Y/n)," he whispered sweetly in my ear. I nodded and closed my eyes. The sound of the engine lulled me to sleep.
When I opened my eyes, I saw I was in a hotel room. The bed was a little hard, but it was better than the cold ground of the cell I was in. The door to my room opened to reveal a smiling Prompto. He ran over to the bed and tackled me in a hug. For some strange reason, my body didn't hurt. "My body doesn't hurt. Why?" I ask, confused at why it doesn't.
Prompto began blushing for some strange reason. "U-uh... Magic!" He tried to pull off the lie, but I wasn't buying it. "Prom, tell me the truth." I push him off of me with a glare. "Okay! Okay, I gave you an elixir," he admits. I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at my boyfriend. "And how did you give it to me?"
Prompto scratched his cheek in embarrassment. "I gave it to you. Mouth... To mouth." I started giggling and kissed him on the cheek. His blush deepened after the kiss. "Why're you so embarrassed? You should be proud. I'd be dead if it wasn't for you, Prom." He leaned in close and rested his forehead against mine. "I'd never let you die, (Y/n). You're too important to me. If Ardyn had killed you, he'd be next. No one takes you away from me."
I steal a kiss from his sweet lips. "I love you, Prom." He smiled and kissed me passionately on the lips. "I love you too, (Y/n)."
