~(Y/n)'s POV~

"Ignis, what are you doing?!" I shout as I run to him. He was facing a Naga by himself. He didn't answer me and went to attack the daemon. I casted lightning magic on the daemon to paralyze it. Next, I grabbed Ignis' hand and teleported us to safety. Ignis didn't even look at me. I sighed in frustration as I placed my hands on his cheeks. I turned his face towards me. "What were you thinking?! Taking a Naga on by yourself while your blind?!" I shout, worried laced through my voice.

"Forgive me, (Y/n)," he whispered sadly. Tears began cascading down my cheeks. "I can't forgive you, Ignis. What would've happened if that daemon killed you? I wouldn't even know about it! Noct, Prom, Gladio, and I would have to search for you. My whole world would fall apart if we found you dead." I rubbed my thumbs against his cheeks. Ignis moved his hands from his sides to the top of mine.

"I'm... Useless..." He mutters sadly. My heart shattered at his words. Did losing his sight mean he lost his will to live? "Don't say that! You never have and never will be useless!" I yell. I close my eyes and blink a few tears away. I removed my hands from his cheeks and wrapped them around his mid section. My head rested on his chest while I cried. "(Y/n)..." He calls my name gently. He runs one of his hands through my (h/c) hair.

"Please, stop this. You mean too much to me. Seeing you like this hurts. I can't lose you. I've already lost my family. I don't think I could stand to lose you as well..." I continue to cry into his chest. His heartbeat was calm and even.

"You are too good for me." A warm smile spreads across his face. I haven't seen him smile like this in ten years. It was refreshing to finally see it again after such a long time. The last time he smiled was when he told me his feelings in Galdin Quay.

"That's the smile I remember." I kiss him gently on the cheek. He leaned his forehead against mine and closed his eyes slowly. Suddenly a hissing noise resounded around us. I turned to see the Naga had found us. I was about to cast a spell, but Ignis grabbed my hand. "I can't lose you either," he said. "Don't worry. I'm just going to take care of this daemon," I reassured him. I snapped my body around to face the nasty Naga. My eyes met those of the Naga's. I could feel my magic surge through me and my once (e/c) eyes now were glowing light blue.

The Naga hissed and slithered backwards to get away from me. Its body hit a wall and I took the advantage. I casted a shadow and ice spell at the Naga. The shadow magic cut through the daemon's body with ease while the ice froze the Naga in place so I could finish it up. Finally, I casted a fire spell and its body turned to ashes. "I still cannot get used to your powers," Ignis said with a slight grin. A small giggle escaped my throat. I grabbed his hands in my smaller ones.

"Iggy, I want you to go back to your usual self. Not this man who thinks he worthless and should die." He nodded and squeezed my hands a small bit. "I think I know a place that might help," I chime. He raises an eyebrow in confusion. "Just hold on," I tell him. At my words, he laces our fingers together. I teleported us to the beach at Galdin Quay, the place where he said he loved me. "Are we in Galdin Quay?" He asked. "Yeah. It's also where you said those three special and important words to me."

"The beach..." He whispers. The waves made a lovely melody against the shore. The sun was setting, which created a beautiful canvas of red, yellow, and orange. "Iggy, what happened in Altissia that day will never be forgotten. You lost your sight and yourself. You've been suffering and I couldn't help you. Now... All that changes. You are and will always be the man I fell in love with. Blind or not, my love for you will not waver. You're not alone in this world. I vow to stay by your side, no matter what hell we go through. Our hearts will always be connected and we won't lose each other. Even in the darkest of times, you'll always be there to be my light."

My (e/c) eyes never left Ignis' green ones. I hope my words reached him. Ever since Noctis had returned, he had shut himself out. Without a word, Ignis smashed his warm lips into mine. Our kiss lasted as long as we could go without air. The passionate kiss ends with us breathing heavily.
"(Y/n), thank you. What you said... Has made me the happiest man on all of Eos."

"Iggy, listen. If you need a shoulder to lean on, I'll be there. Whenever you need to complain, I'll be there. Even when you need to cry... I'll be there no matter what. Nothing will stop me," I declare. He stole a sweet kiss from my lips. "I will also never leave your side, (Y/n). Not even if someone tears us apart. I will always find you." We exchanged another passionate kiss. "There's the Ignis I know," I smile brightly. "I'm back, (Y/n)."
