~(Y/n)'s POV~

"I'm sorry," I apologize to the man in front of me. He was cupping my cheeks with his gloved hands and staring into my (e/c) eyes. He had glasses on that covered his green eyes. The man also had light brown hair that swayed in the gentle breeze. "She doesn't remember any of us?" A blonde asked, his face full of sadness. Another one with raven hair had a guilty look on his face. "This is all my fault..." He mutters in shame.

"No, it's not," glasses man said. I was currently sitting on my knees. Their conversation was confusing me. Should I know these men? Another one began to speak. He had tattoos on both of his arms. "What should we do?" He asked. "I'm not sure," glasses man responds dejectedly. He moves his hands away from my cheeks and walks away. "Um, should I know you?" I asked the blonde. He sat in front of me. "(Y/n), you're our friend. You don't remember because you've lost your memory. I'm Prompto. That's Noct, Gladio, and Iggy. We are all close friends. Iggy and you have been together for over six years."

I looked away sadly. "I'm sorry. I have no idea what you're talking about." I shrink and slide a few feet away from the blonde. He looked hurt at my actions. I wanted to believe his story, but... I couldn't believe a single word. The blonde left with droopy shoulders. For all I know, these men could've kidnapped me. I could have a family that's desperately searching for me. With those thoughts, I stood up and backed away slowly. My eyes met greens ones before I stormed off. "(Y/n)!" The man shouts. Is that really my name? Or is it something they made up to confuse me even more?

Before I knew it, I was tackled and pinned to the ground. The man with glasses had pinned my body down with his. I struggled to free myself from his grip on me. The other three soon arrived at the commotion. "Please, let me go," I beg. The man's eyes grew wide. He looked hurt at the sound of my words. "I'm sorry, (Y/n). I cannot do that," he said softly. "Why?" I ask, trying to keep my tears from falling. "If I do, you'll run away and I would lose you forever."

I couldn't say a word to him. Thousands of questions ran through my mind. Maybe him and I are a couple. What the blonde one said earlier could have been all true. "Is... Is there any proof?" I ask. The man looked at the blonde one. "Go get your camera." He nodded and stormed off. He returns with a expensive looking camera. "Here's some pictures of both of you together," he said and handed the camera over. The man got off of me and helped me to my feet. "Please, look at these photos," he begged. I nodded and took the camera.

Picture after picture, it was me and the man. We were hugging, kissing, and laughing together. Tears began streaming down my cheeks. "(Y/n)..." He called my name gently. His hands cupped my cheeks and he wiped away the tears. "How did I lose my memories?" I ask. The raven hair man stepped up. "We were battling some Magiteks near Hammerhead. I wasn't paying attention and one was about to self destruct. You pushed me out of the way and took the hit. The explosion was powerful enough to send your body flying. Your head hit a rock and you passed out."

"When you woke up, you had no recollection of us," the man with tattoos finished. "Everything you said earlier... Was the truth. I'm so sorry," I apologize to the blonde. He shook his head and tried to keep his composure. "Don't apologize, (Y/n). I'd try to run away from weirdos too if I had no idea who they were," he said with a goofy grin. The man with tattoos put him in a head lock and rubbed the top of his head with his knuckles. "Ah, Gladio, let go!" He shouts. "The only weirdo here is you," the man replied with a chuckle.

"Could you all tell me your names?" I ask. They all nodded with smiles. One by one, they all introduced themselves. Ignis, the one who was my boyfriend, never let me go. Prompto, the blonde, was still in a headlock. Gladio wouldn't let the poor boy go and I couldn't help but laugh. They also informed me of where we were and what our mission was. After a few hours of getting information, I was worn out.

-Next Day-

"We've got a huge problem!" Prompto shouts. "What's this 'big problem'?" Noctis asked his best friend. "Behemoth!" He yells. We quickly stood up and got ready to battle. Ignis wanted me to stay behind, but I insisted I go with them. He agreed to it with a reluctant expression. The Behemoth was closing in quickly as we prepared ourselves. We began attacking the monster with all we had. I was helping Ignis and saw the Behemoth was about the strike him. "Ignis, look out!" I push him out of the way and take the blow. My body hit the hard ground far away from the fight. My head was the first to hit the hard ground.

"(Y/n)!" Ignis shouts. My body hurt all over and I couldn't move a muscle. I closed my eyes from the intense pain. The others defeat the Behemoth while Ignis storms over to me. He pulled me into his arms to check for injuries. "(Y/n), speak to me!" He said desperately. I opened my eyes and stared into his green irises. "Iggy, I'm fine. My body just hurts. No blood, just a few bruises and scratches." At my words, his expression dramatically changed. His eyes widened in shock. "Your memory..."

"What about my memory?" I ask, confused at his words. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. "You've gotten your memory back," he whispered in my ear. "Um, why would I not have my memory?" I ask. "After you saved Noct from a Magitek, you lost your memory from a blow to the head. You didn't remember any of us."

"I do remember saving Noct, but I don't remember losing my memory," I answered honestly. "(Y/n), are you okay?!" Prompto yells as he runs over to us. "I'm fine, Prom." At the sound of his nickname, his eyes grow wide. "Y-your memory..." He stutters. Noctis and Gladio come running at Prompto's stuttering. "Is she back to normal?" Gladio asked. Ignis nodded and helped me to my feet. Noctis sighs in relief and crashes to the ground. "Thank Etro..."

"Now that (Y/n) has her memories back, we should head out," Ignis announces. We all nod in unison. As we head back to the campsite, Ignis held my hand tightly. "Iggy, I'm fine. My memories are back. And stop worrying so much." I kiss him gently on the cheek. This results in him holding my hand even tighter. It didn't hurt, but I couldn't move my fingers. "I was so afraid you would never remember us."

I stood in front of him with a reassuring smile. I removed my hand from his and placed both of them on his cheeks. "I know you would never let me forget. You'd do everything in your power to get my memories back." Ignis covered both of my hands with his and leaned his forehead against mine. "I would do anything for you."
