~(Y/n)'s POV~

"(Y/n), are you almost ready?" Zena, a fellow dancer and singer, asked. "I'm so nervous..." I mutter. She comes over and runs a gentle hand over my back. "Don't worry. You'll do great!" She reassures me. I smile and thank her. "Oh! Here's the outfit I promised~" She handed me an outfit that was revealing and I stared at it with wide eyes.

"Z-Zena!" I shout. She giggles and runs away. I sigh and reluctantly put the outfit on. I fixed my hair into beautiful (h/c) curls. I put light makeup on and examine myself in the mirror. "I may look ready but I don't feel ready." I pick up a pair of earrings and put them in. I headed out of the room I was provided for my show tonight. It was a big suite in the Galdin Quay hotel which was close to where I would be performing. I rode the elevator down and headed towards the beach.

The man who hired me, Dex, met me at the door that lead to the beach. "You look wonderful, miss (Y/n)!" He said gleefully. "Thank you, Dex." I smile at the man. "Follow me to where you'll be performing." Dex guides me to a stage that was located near the shore of the beach. "You're the first to go on. I'm positive you'll do amazing!" He cheers. I thank him again and he leaves me to watch the show. A small orchestra was on stage already. "You're on, (Y/n)!" A man shouts. I nod and head out on the stage. A crowd of people clapped as I walked onto the stage. The orchestra behind me smiled as I passed them.

The large crowd calmed down as I prepared to sing and dance for them. My eyes scanned the crowd and I saw a familiar face. My smile grew as I saw the love my life, Gladio. He smiled warmly back which made my heart flutter. I nodded towards the orchestra and they began playing the piece to my song.

I began signing and dancing to the slow and gentle pulse of the notes. My body swayed naturally and fluently like currents in the ocean. I got lost in my own world and forgot I was performing in front of a huge crowd. My mind was filled with happy thoughts of Gladio and I holding each other and laughing together. A beautiful view of the ocean popped into my mind and I saw us dancing together with the setting sun. The waves lapsed against the shore and created a soothing melody for all to hear.  All we knew was happiness and noting bothered us. The war was over and all was well. Families were together and hugging each other. Friends were reunited and a warm, radiant glow filled the sky. All loved ones returned safely and lived their lives to the fullest. No more tears. No more sadness. Only happiness was left in the beautiful world of Eos.

I sang the last lyric and glanced at Gladio again. His smile was even bigger than before. The crowd went crazy and I bowed. I waved and thanked everyone. The next singer went up as I left the stage. "What a beautiful performance!" Dex shouts happily. I giggle as he thanks me over and over again. His smile never left his face as he went to make sure every thing was still going smoothly. "There's my beautiful (Y/n)!" Arms wrapped around me and I knew who it was right away. "Gladio!" I hug him and he spins me around. We laugh and he kisses me on the cheek. "(Y/n), that was beautiful! You should sing for us more often!" Prompto yells. "I'd love to sing for all of you at any time," I reply. Noctis and Ignis complimented me on my performance as well.

"Excuse me while I sweep my princess off her feet and take her away." Gladio picks me up in his arms and runs away from Ignis, Noctis, and Prompto. He ran down the beach and stopped once we were far away from the stage and the only thing we could hear was the sound of waves. The sun painted the sky like a beautiful canvas and I gasped at its beauty. "It's so beautiful," I say softly. "Nothing compares to your beauty, (Y/n)." Gladio smiled and took my hand in his. I began to blush and couldn't look at him. After a few seconds of silence, Gladio kneels in front of me and kisses my hand with his warm lips. "You danced beautifully. Now it's my turn to dance with my beautiful princess."

He gently put an arm around my waist and took my other hand. "I know the prefect dance," I said. I gently laid my hand on his shoulder and I began to sing. The song was slow and it matched our steps perfectly. Gladio smiled at me and I smiled back. I continued to sing as Gladio guided me through the steps. He picked me up bridal style and spun around once while I kept singing. He gently sat me down back on my feet and I spun on my tippy toes. It was a little difficult with the sand but I was able to pull it off without hurting myself. We finished the slow dance with Gladio dipping me towards the sunset. Without a word, our lips connected and sparks flew that put the sun to shame. He pulls me up and deepens the kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck and stand on my tippy toes to make the kiss even deeper than before. We pull away for air and Gladio begins to chuckle. "What's so funny?" I ask with a giggle. "Nothing. I'm just one hell of a lucky man to have someone like you."

I pecked him on the nose and we sat down on the sand. Gladio pulled me into his lap and began twirling my hair around his fingers. We watched the sun set and the moon appear in the night sky. Stars began to become more clear and we started making shapes out of them. We laughed and messed with each other for hours about random things.

Gladio stood up and helped me to my feet. "Gladio, what's wrong?" I ask worriedly. He kneels in front of me like before and reaches into his pocket. He pulled out a small box and looked nervous. My eyes grew wide as I saw the box. "(Y/n), will you marry me?" His words made my eyes grow even more wide. Tears began cascading down my cheek and I couldn't control them. "Yes!" I shout happily. I fling myself on him and wrap my arms around his neck. He sighs in relief and hugs me tightly. "I was so worried you would've said no."

"What?! Are you kidding me?! I would never say no to you! I was hoping you would ask me." I pull away and he gently puts the ring on my finger. "You've made me the happiest girl in the world."

"And you, my sweet (Y/n), have just made me the happiest man in the world."
