~(Y/n)'s POV~

I was sitting on Prompto's lap in my pup form. He stroked my fur gently and I nudged my face into his chest. He chuckled and picked me up in his arms. Our eyes met and he rested his nose against mine. "You're too adorable, (Y/n)!" He smiled and kissed the top of my head. I licked his cheek in return and he laughed. "We're here," Gladio announces. We were staying at a hotel in Hammerhead for the night. They all unpacked while I rested on Prompto's shoulder. He took me to the room and sat me down on the bed. "Let's play a round," Noctis said as he held up a pack of cards. All four of them sat around the table and I laid next to Prompto. He held his cards in one hand and petted me with the other.

A few hours passed and I saw Prompto was struggling to win. I looked at his cards and howled. "What's up girl?" Prompto asked. I jumped onto his lap and pointed to a card with my nose. He nodded and placed the card down on the table with a shaky hand. Once everyone else saw the card, they all gasped. "Dammit!" Gladio shouts and throws his cards on the table in defeat.

Noctis stared at the card in shock and groaned. He tossed his cards on the table next to Ignis' cards. "It seems a boy and his wolf has outplayed us all," Ignis said with a grin. "I... Won?" Prompto asked in shock. Ignis nodded and Gladio grunted in disappointment. Noctis sat in the chair with his head in his hands. Prompto's features lit up and he picked me up in his arms. "That's my first time winning!" He shouts. I howl softly and he sets me down on the bed. "All thanks to you, (Y/n)!" He stuck his hand up and I gave him a high five with my paw. Suddenly a phone went off and Noctis plucked his phone out of his pocket. He left the room to take the call.

"Wonder what that's all about," Prompto said. He flopped down on the bed and I crawled onto his chest. I laid down and he stared into my eyes with a smile. The door to the room opened and Noctis wore a serious expression. "A Behemoth has been spotted just outside of Hammerhead," he informed us. We all flew up from our positions and ran outside to the car. Prompto grabbed me and vaulted over the door. He sat next to Gladio and Noctis took the passenger's seat. Ignis drove us to the outskirts of Hanmerhead and we spotted the beast immediately. Everyone got out of the car but Prompto stopped me before I could exit. "You stay here, (Y/n). It's too dangerous." He stormed off with the others and I put my paws on the armrest. My eyes never left Prompto's form as I watched him battle the giant monster.

The Behemoth growled and it caused all of our ears to ring. I shook my head and saw the Behemoth was about to strike Prompto in his dazed state. I jumped out and ran to help him. I stopped in front of him and transformed into my human form. I pulled out my fans and blocked the Behemoth's attack.

"W-what the hell?" Prompto stutters behind me. I ignore him and push the monster back. I charged at the beast and jumped on top of its head. I used wind magic to cut the Behemoth's head clean off. I backflip off its body and land perfectly in front of the guys. The ground shook as the Behemoth's body and head hit the ground. I clean the blood off of me and put my fans away. All eyes were on me as I realized what I'd done. "Oh no..." I mutter. 'I completely forgot they haven't seen me like this!' I shout in my mind. My hair was now (h/c) and my eyes are (e/c).

"(Y/n)?" Prompto asked, shock filling his tone. I took a step back and started to regret my decision about changing into this form. Prompto took a step towards me and I transformed into my pup form. I ran off as fast as I could. "Wait!" Prompto shouts. I ignore him and continue to run. I was almost into the woods until I was tackled and held in someone's arms. I squirmed and tried to get out of their hold on me. "Please, don't go." Prompto's voice made me stop squirming and I stared into his blue eyes. He held me close and nuzzles his face into my black and blue fur. "Even though it's only been two days, you're special to me," he whispered softly. "Could... Could you change back?" He asked. I nodded and did what he requested.

"I-I'm so sorry, Prompto," I said sadly. He shook his head and held me tighter. "Don't be. It's a dream come true!" He chirps. "Dream?" I ask. Prompto began to blush and couldn't look me in the eyes. "I... Uh... Kinda had a dream where you were human and you were drop dead gorgeous." Now I was the one blushing. "Half of that is true. The other part... Not so much," I said. "Nope, it's one hundred percent all true! You're more beautiful than I imagined you to be!" He said happily. My face was burning and I tried to hide my face in his chest. I could hear him chuckling and he started running his hands through my hair. "So... Will you stay?"

I pulled away and nodded with a bright smile. He smiled back and leaned his forehead against mine. "Let's head back," he said. Prompto helped me up and we headed back to the others. "Hey, Prom!" Noctis shouts. I hid behind Prompto while we approached the others. He stepped aside and I took a few steps back. "Look, it's (Y/n)!" Prompto shouts happily. "H-hello..." I say shyly. "It's nice to see the real you, (Y/n)," Ignis said with a smile. I couldn't help but smile at his words. "Yeah, it's been awhile since we've seen someone as beautiful as you," Gladio comments with a grin. My face was turning red and I tried to hide. I shook my head and glanced at them. "I thought you would have a different reaction."

"What do you mean?" Noctis asked. "Well... Most people freak out when they see me in my human form. I was expecting you to leave me behind and never return. That's... What everyone's done." I look away sadly and hold in my tears. Someone grabbed my hands and held them tightly. I looked up and saw Prompto looking at me sadly. "We would never do that to you." I was shocked at his gentle words. My walls fell down and the tears poured out of my eyes. "S-so, it's alright if I stay?" I ask through sniffles. Prompto nods and smiles goofily. "Prom's right. We'd never leave you behind," Noctis said. Prompto wrapped his arms around me and I hugged back without hesitation. "Welcome to the group, (Y/n)!"
