~(Y/n)'s POV~

"Noct, I'll be fine. Stop worrying," I say while staring into his eyes. The worried expression on his face didn't waver. I kissed him on the cheek and ran a hand through his raven hair. "Why?" He asked. "I wish you could come with me, but this is my father we're talking about. He may work for Niflheim, but he's still my father. I'm going to convince him to abandon Niflheim and return to Lucis. I'll be back before you know it." I jumped up and kissed him on the lips. He immediately kissed back and pulled me closer. We break apart and I call upon Kina.

I ran a hand through her soft white fur and whispered in her ear. She nods and lowers herself to the ground for me to get on her back. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone," I say and wink at Noctis. He sighs and smiles up at me. "I'm supposed to tell you that." I giggled and Noctis rested his hand over mine. "Don't be a stranger,
(Y/n). I'll be by your side when you need me," he said.

"You'll be the first person I call if I'm in trouble," I say softly. Noctis nods and waves goodbye. Kina speeds off and heads to my father's hideout. "I can't believe we found it so easy," I say to myself as we speed through the streets of Lucis. My father has been camping out in a cave not far from Lucis. He's been using it as a hideout for him and his Magitek army. I can't believe he hasn't been found yet. We leave the city and find the cave with ease. I hop off of Kina and she nudges my back. "I know. I'm worried too. Maybe I should tell Noctis." I pull out my phone and hesitate to hit the call button.

"No, I can't. He has other things to worry about. I need to do this myself." My (h/c) hair whips through the harsh wind. I put my phone away and tell Kina to stay put. She lays down and watches me enter the cave. Darkness surrounds me as I go deeper. A mysterious light in the back of the cave caught my attention. Standing in front of a table was my father. He looked frustrated and tired.

"Father..." I mutter and step into the light. His head snaps up and a giant smile forms on his tired face. "(Y/n), my baby girl!" He ran over and crushed me in a hug. "I've missed you so much..." He whispers in my ear. "Father, please... Come home. Lucis is your home, not Niflheim," I whisper back. "I've been waiting for you to find me. I want to go home and start over with you. There are no Magiteks here at the moment. Let's hurry," he says. Father grabs my arm and we run to the entrance of the cave. By the time we reach it, Magiteks are everywhere. Kina was standing close by and growling at any one of them who dared to get close to her.

"Kina, you know what to do!" I shout. She runs over and grabs my father. "(Y/n), what are you doing?!" He shouts. "Making sure you get home safely," I smile at him. He was speechless and I whispered another command in Kina's ear. "Protect him." Kina storms off with my father on her back. He kept shouting my name over and over again, but I ignored him. "Now your commander is gone. Time to finish you all off." I pull out my chakrams (I hope you know what I'm talking about😙) and began chopping down Magiteks left and right. I was almost finished, but was blasted into the stone wall by a Magitek exploding. I tried to stand and ended up wobbling on my legs.

"Not yet..." I wipe blood away from my mouth and attack the rest of the Magiteks. After I was done killing them all, I was covered in cuts and bruises. Blood stained my clothes and my vision was splotchy. It was hard to breathe and I leaned against a rock. I sank down to my knees with my arm resting on the rock. I pulled my phone out and quickly called Noctis. I heard his voice full of worry before I passed out.

~3rd Person POV (with Noctis)~

Noctis heard his phone ringing and saw who it was. "It's (Y/n)!" He quickly picks up and calls her name over and over again. "What's wrong, Noct?" Prompto asked his best friend. Fear was painted all over Noctis' face. "(Y/n), answer me!" The line goes dead and Noctis grits his teeth. "Go get Ignis and Gladio. We've got to help (Y/n)." Noctis stormed off to tell his father.

After informing King Regis, Noctis was outside with Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus. "I've never seen you so worried before," Gladio comments. "Yes, what happened?" Ignis asked. "It's (Y/n). She went after her father. I got a call from her a few minutes ago and she didn't say a word. The line suddenly went dead and I couldn't get ahold of her again."

A familiar growl made all four men stop what they were doing. Kina, (Y/n)'s spirit companion, stopped in front of them and dropped a man off. "Please! You've got to help my daughter!" The man shouts. "You're (Y/n)'s father..." Ignis trails off. Noctis grabs the panicking man to calm him down. "Where is she?" He asked sternly. "S-she's holding off an entire fleet of Magiteks," he answered. "Ignis, show him inside. Gladio, Prompto, I'm going to need your help." Noctis walked up to Kina and rubbed her head. "Kina, take me to (Y/n)," Noctis said to the wolf. She growled lowly in response and laid down on the ground.

"Wait, we're riding Kina?!" Prompto shouts. "She's faster than the Regalia," Noctis said. "I can't believe I'm saying this... You're right," Gladio said. Noctis chuckled and both Gladio and Prompto joined him on Kina's back. "You're going to want to hold on," Noctis informed them. They did as they were told and Kina took off.

Minutes pass and they arrive at the location (Y/n) was supposed to be. Noctis, Prompto, and Gladiolus hop off of Kina and search for the missing girl. "She can't be far. Look around," Noctis ordered. Gladio and Prompto nodded and searched different areas around the cave. Noctis was searching the entrance of the cave when he heard a whimper. (Y/n) emerged from behind a rock dragging her tattered body. "No..." Noctis caught her before she collapsed to the ground.

"(Y/n), stay with me!" Noctis yelled desperately. Seeing her like this broke his heart. He picked up her bloody and limp body in his arms and returned to Kina. "(Y/n)!" Prompto yells when he sees said girl. Gladio and Prompto run towards the beaten up (Y/n). "She's lost a lot of blood," Gladio said. "We need to take her back to Lucis!" Prompto yells, running his hands through his hair and messing it up. Kina nudges (Y/n)'s body within her nose. Her ears flatten against her head. A green light surrounded her and it entered (Y/n).

"What is this?" Gladio asked. "I didn't know Kina could heal..." Noctis murmurs. "So cool~!" Prompto runs a hand through the green light. The light ceases and all of (Y/n)'s wounds are healed. Noctis still looks worriedly down at her. She opens her eyes and smiles at him. Everyone sighs in relief. Gladio and Prompto crash to the ground in relief. "What did I miss?" (Y/n) asked. She began giggling and Noctis was happy to hear her cute laughter again.

"You're okay," Noctis said and leaned his head against hers. (Y/n) rested a hand on his cheek and wiped away a tear. "Noct, you're crying," she said and stared at the tear on her finger. She's never seen him cry before. He kneels down and places her on the ground. Noct-"

(Y/n) was cut off when she was brought into a tight and warm embrace. He held her tightly against him and leaned his head on her shoulder. "I thought I lost you..." He whispered in her ear. "I'm so sorry... I should've known I couldn't do this by myself..." She whispers back. Noctis shook his head. "No, you took out a fleet of Magiteks all by yourself. You are one amazing person, (Y/n)." Noctis smiles at the girl in his arms. She snuggled into his chest and he laced his fingers through her (h/c) hair. Prompto and Gladio were smiling at the scene before them. They were happy that they didn't lose (Y/n) either.

"My father! Did he make it back?" She asked Noctis. "Ignis is taking care of him." (Y/n) sighed in relief and collapsed against Noctis. "Thank goodness..." She mumbles. Noctis chuckles and helps her onto Kina's back. "There's not enough room for the four of us," Prompto pointed out. (Y/n) rested a finger on her chin and thought of an idea. She snapped her fingers and smirked at Gladio and Prompto. They both swallowed hard when they saw the look on her face.

"I think it's time you met Nomi," she grinned. (Y/n) whistled and another female wolf appeared. "Gladio. Prompto. Meet Nomi. She is Kina's younger sister. She's a little wild, but she'll carry you both back to Lucis without a problem." The grin never left her face as Gladio and Prompto got on Nomi's back. "Nomi, you know where to go~" she growls and takes off. Noctis and (Y/n) hear both men screaming as they disappeared. "Before we get back, I need to do something," Noctis said. (Y/n) was confused and turned to face him. Noctis found her lips and began kissing her like he would lose her. Minutes felt like hours as the kiss continued. They both broke away for air and leaned their foreheads together.

"You know... We could always visit Lestallum. I heard it's beautiful around this time of year," (Y/n) giggled. Noctis chuckled and stared into her (e/c) eyes. "I'll call Ignis and tell him we'll be taking a long detour back to Lucis."
