~(Y/n)'s POV~
"Alright, one more song and that'll be it for today," I said, straightening my (h/c) hair in a room at Galdin Quay. During breaks between songs, I'd return to my room for a short break. Though I've been performing at Galdin Quay for months, they still insist on paying for the room. The owner of the Mother of Pearl won't let me pay for anything, saying my performances were enough.
"Don't know why. They pay me every week and I could practically buy the room with how much I've earned," I mumble to myself. Even meals were covered by Coctura, the chef at the restaurant.
Hearing a knock on the door pushed me from my thoughts and I quickly brushed off my dress of the small wrinkles that were forming.
Walking out of my room, I almost ran into someone. I quickly apologize and look up to see who I nearly hit. My (e/c) eyes were greeted with beautiful blue ones and blonde hair. "N-no, I wasn't paying attention," he quickly responds, interrupting my apology. Looking closer, I noticed his cheeks were a slight crimson color.
"Prompto, hurry up!" A man shouts from one of the tables. I looked towards the voice to see a table with three other men. "Give me a second!" He shouts back. "So, your name is Prompto?" I ask. He nods meekly and shies away from my gaze. A small giggle slipped from my lips as I saw how flustered he was becoming. "I'm (Y/n). Nice to meet you," I introduce myself, trying to ease the blonde.
"N-nice to meet you, (Y-Y/n)," he replies sheepishly. However, our conversation ended when Coctura called for me. "I've got to go. I hope to see you around, Prompto." I gave him one last smile before I went over to Coctura. She was grinning as she handed me a small cup of water. "Flirting before a performance, eh?"
"We weren't flirting. I almost ran into him. Poor guy looked like a lobster with his red cheeks but kinda cute, too."
"I know his friends. If you'd like, I could set up a meeting time after your performance."
"Coctura, I don't have time for a boyfriend. My singing career would get in the way."
"At least give him the time of day. I think your singing would improve if you had a boyfriend."
Raising an eyebrow, I cross my arms at the young chef. "Are you saying my singing sucks?" Coctura quickly shook her head and denied my accusation. "Not at all! I just think if you did, your voice would sound even more heavenly."
Before I answered, the two of us had a small staring contest. Finally breaking, I sigh and write down a time and place on a napkin. "Alright, you win. Give this to him while I perform." She smiles and gladly takes the napkin, exchanging it for a microphone. "Good luck, (Y/n)!"
Heading over to the small stage in the Mother of Pearl, I set the microphone on its stand and gesture for the music to begin. Taking a deep breath, I let the lyrics flow like a river.

(A/n: Yes, it is one of the themes of KH. I love Mree. She is an amazing singer!)
As my voice filled the restaurant, all went quiet. The only thing you could hear was my singing. My eyes traveled around to the customers and stopped when I spotted Prompto. His blue eyes were full of passion and shock. He also seemed to be frozen in his seat from my singing. His friends tried to snap him out of it, but he remained still, his eyes glued to me. Sending him a smile, I saw his cheeks flare up with crimson.
Finishing the song, I gave a small bow. A roar of applause accompanied my bow as I lifted my head. Prompto still wore the same expression and didn't move an inch as I returned the microphone to Coctura. She bends over the counter and whispers in my ear. "Mission success."
"Thanks, Coctura. You know where I'll be," I said before leaving for the beach. With a huge smile on my face, I weave through the small crowd to leave the restaurant. Countless of people complimented me as I passed them to reach the beach. I properly thank them until I sped up my pace, ignoring everything around me.
Taking off my shoes, I feel the soft sand beneath my feet through my tights. I stood at the water's edge and watched as the sun began to set beyond the horizon. Hearing footsteps behind me, I knew who it was without turning around. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
Prompto froze in his tracks and gave me a response I wasn't expecting. "Not as beautiful as you." Gasping, I spun on my heels to face him. My cheeks were red, competing with the setting sun's rays. Looking closely, I saw his cheeks also rivaled the sun's beautiful colors.
"W-was that too cheesy?" He asked nervously. I shook my head with a giggle. "Not at all." Sighing, Prompto slowly makes his way over to stand by my side. I could feel his nervousness as he tried to make small talk. His fingers twitched and his voice was shaky. Placing a hand on his shoulder seemed to calm him down tremendously. "I'm glad you decided to meet me here. I was afraid you would've thrown the napkin away."
"I'd have to be crazy to throw it away. M-meeting a pretty girl d-doesn't happen every d-day," he said, his cheeks turning even redder. I placed a hand over my heart as I felt it skip a beat. "Aw, you're too sweet, Prompto. It's also not everyday I meet someone as handsome as you, either."
Prompto hid his red cheeks in his hand to hide the embarrassment. My eyes traveled to his neck to see a camera hanging from it. Tugging on his jacket gently, I grab his attention and he removes his hands. "Could we take a picture together?"
Prompto nods frantically and takes the device from around his neck. Standing close to him, he positions the camera in front of us. Right as he snapped the photo, I kissed him on the cheek. Prompto froze with wide eyes once my lips made contact with his cheek. Taking the camera from his hand, I smile at the picture. I turned the screen towards him so he could see it. "I'd call that picture perfect," I giggle.
Still frozen like a statue, I gently put the camera back around his neck. Noticing the time, I knew I would have to leave soon. Waving a hand in front of Prompto's face made him snap back to reality. "I should get going. I've got to pack my things and head to Lestallum. My next performance is for the upcoming festival. Don't hesitate to text or call me, alright?"
"T-totally!" He shouts happily.
"I hope you have a wonderful night, Prompto." I gave him one more kiss on the cheek. When I walked passed him, I felt him grab my wrist and pull me back. Confused, I turned my head to look at him. "Prom-" I was silenced when his soft lips collided with mine. It was a quick but sweet kiss, enough to make my whole body heat up. Prompto let go of my wrist and started to freak out. "O-oh, gods, I wasn't thinking!" He ran his hands through his hair, messing up his golden locks. He began to sputter over and over again about random things.
"Prompto," I call his name. Placing my hands on his cheeks, I make him look down at me. "Calm down. No need to freak out. And, if it makes you feel any better..." I get on my tippy toes and kiss him on the lips. I could feel him melting under my touch. Releasing him, I take a step back and smile. "Think of it as a departing gift. Stay safe, Prompto." I wave farewell to him and run off the beach. When I reached my room, my phone suddenly buzzed. Looking at the screen, I saw a text from Prompto.
So, when's our next date?
