~3rd Person POV (with Prompto)~

Prompto was leaning against the Regalia with a sad look on his face. He was scrolling through countless of pictures on his camera. He froze when a picture of a girl appeared. She had (h/c) hair and shining (e/c) eyes you could get lost in. He felt his eyes sting from tears threatening to fall. "(Y/n), where are you..." He leaned his head against the camera as if he could feel the warmth of the girl he loved from the picture. He was pulled from his thoughts when Gladio put him in a headlock.

"Don't worry, Prom. We'll find her," he said to reassure the blonde. Prompto sighed and was able to get out of the headlock. "She's been missing for a month now. Everyday that passes, I get more worried. What if... What if she's hurt?" Stray tears streamed down his face. Gladio's happy smile was replaced with a sad frown. "Don't say that, Prompto." Noctis joined the two men. "What if it's true?"

"Prompto, it's not. I swear to you, we will find (Y/n) alive and well," Noctis said strongly. "Our next stop is Lestallum. Iris can help us search for her in the city," Gladio stated. Prompto nodded and went back to looking at pictures of (Y/n). He scrolled to one where she was on his back giving him bunny ears. He smiled and flipped to the next. (Y/n) was sitting on top of a Chocobo with a smile and winking at him. The last one made him miss her even more. They both were in Altissia and (Y/n) stole a kiss from him. His face was all red from embarrassment. He let the camera fall and dangle from his neck. He began crying into his arms. Noctis rubbed his back along with Gladio.

"Let's head out. Lestallum is a day's drive away." Ignis got behind the wheel and Prompto got in the front with him. Noctis and Gladio sat in the backseat. The Regalia sped past all kinds of creatures. The green plains were being grazed by Garulas and Big Horns. Hours passed and the sun was high in the sky. Prompto sighed and looked to the right. Someone was riding a Chocobo and baby Chocobos were following close behind. He saw the person on the Chocobo had (h/c) hair tied up in a long ponytail. He scrambles to pick up his camera and focuses it on the person.

He zooms in and gasps at what he sees. "Iggy, pull over!" He shouts. "Is there a problem?" Ignis questioned. "I've found (Y/n)!" Prompto screams. He points to the small figure on the Chocobo and everyone snaps their heads in that direction. "How can you tell?" Noctis questions. "I know that (h/c) hair from anywhere," he said confidently.

~(Y/n)'s POV~

I stop Pipo, my Chocobo, so the other little ones could catch up. I was currently trying to give them some free time out of their pens today. They stopped right behind Pipo and began nipping at the grass. I giggle at their curious nature and run a hand through Pipo's soft feathers. He leans into my touch and I scratch the top of his head. He chirped with glee and plopped down on the ground. "Alright, I'll let you rest up." I get off his back and sit on a nearby rock. I lay on my back and watch the clouds pass by. I reach a hand into the air as if I could reach and take one of the clouds for myself.

An engine brought me back to reality and I sat up. A black car carrying four men stopped on the side of the road and a man with blonde hair jumped out. I looked closer and recognized who it was. "Prompto?!" I unconsciously shout. He keeps running and doesn't stop until he tackles me in a hug and smashes his lips on mine. It was a long and passionate kiss. I was having a hard time breathing and Prompto noticed. He unlatched his lips from mine and grinned goofily down at me.

"I finally found you~!" He cheers and hugs me tighter. I felt my spine pop and my ribs being crushed. "P-Prom... Need... Air..." Prompto lets me go and I gasp for air. He apologizes and grabs my hands. "You've been missing for a whole month. I was so worried." He leaned his forehead against mine. I could see all the worry I caused just by looking in his blue eyes. "I'm sorry, Prom. I was going to call you, but my phone was destroyed."

"How?!" He asked. I pointed towards Pipo. "My dear angel over there thought it was a treat and pecked at it. He broke the phone and I haven't gotten it replaced yet," I reply. Prompto started to die of laughter after he heard my tragic phone story. He inhaled sharply and cleared his throat. "S-sorry," he apologizes. I just rolled my eyes with a smile.

"What have you been doing for a whole month?" He asked. "I've been helping a friend whose father passed away. He used to run a Chocobo ranch with his daughter, Killa. I've known her for years and she called me after he passed. Since then, I've been helping her raise the Chocobos and have loved every second of it. I'm sorry to have made you worry so much, Prom. I should've told you right away," I smile sadly. He shakes his head and wraps an arm around my waist. "I'm just glad you're not hurt."

"The only thing that hurts is when Chocobos pull on your hair," I giggled. "Tell me about it!" He laughs along. Pipo came over and examined Prompto. He ran a hand through Pipo's feathers and he closed his eyes in enjoyment. Pipo chirped in delight and drew closer to Prompto. I smiled at the two enjoying each other's company. The smaller Chocobos surrounded Prompto and began pecking at his legs. "Ow!" He tried to escape them, but they took chase. I tried to hide my laughter but couldn't. Gladio, Ignis, and Noctis were also watching Prompto being chased. After a good laugh, the three of them approach me.

"Good to see you, (Y/n)," Noctis greeted. "Prom was so worried about you. We searched all of Altissia, Insomnia, and Galdin Quay for you," Gladio informed me. "I'm sorry. I've been super busy and had no way of contacting any of you," I admit. "We're all happy to see you're safe," Ignis adds. Gladio and Noctis nod in agreement. "(Y/n), help me!" Prompto pleads. I giggle and use my fingers to whistle. All the little Chocobos stopped chasing him and returned to me. Pipo joined them and laid down next to them. Prompto catches his breath and sighs in relief. I bite the inside of my cheek to contain my goofy smile. "Thanks," he said. I nodded and he joined the rest of us.

"I should head back. Killa will start to worry," I say. Prompto looked at me sadly and it broke my heart. I rested a hand on his cheek and smiled. "Prom, I'll be fine. Make sure to visit me, okay?" He covers my hand with his. "Anytime?" He asked. "Anytime," I reply. "It was nice to see you all. I hope you all come to visit soon. It kinda gets lonely around the ranch." I kiss Prompto on the lips and hop on Pipo. He stands up and suddenly pulls on Prompto's hair. "Owowowowow!!!" I scold Pipo and he lets go of Prompto's hair. I wave goodbye and head back to the ranch.
