~(Y/n)'s POV~

"A date?"

"A date."

I place my hands on my hips as I look at Noctis. He usually doesn't ask for a date. I'm the one who always asked. This shocked me as I absorbed his words. Noctis peered into my face as no words left my mouth.

"So... what do ya say, (Y/n)?"

"Um... sure."

I was still cautious of Noctis' strange behavior. He smiled and took my hand in his. He dragged me through the streets of the beautiful city, Altissia. We headed to a small café and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

As we were eating, Noctis had crumbs on his cheek. I began to laugh, drawing Noctis' attention. He gave me confused-filled eyes as he wondered why I was laughing. I pointed to my cheek, signaling he had something on his. Noctis realized and wiped his cheek, but it was the wrong one. I laughed harder as I bent over the table to wipe the crumbs off his cheek. When I finished, I gave him a kiss on the spot I had just wiped. Noctis' cheeks began to ignite with a red tint.

"Aw, you're so adorable, Noct," I whisper to him. This made his cheeks burn even brighter. I just smirk at him victoriously. We finish our meal and head out. Our hands automatically found each other and we entwined our fingers.

The next stop we made was at the gondolas. We hopped on one and traveled the beautiful waterways of Altissia.

"Hey, Noct?"

The prince glanced at me with a questioning gaze. I took a deep breath and asked what's been on my mind ever since he asked me out this morning.

"What made you want to go on a date all of a sudden?"

He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away. "Well, the guys asked me if we have had time to ourselves. When I said no, they all scolded me. Even Prom smacked me."

"And you felt guilty?"

"I felt guilty that I hadn't spent much time with you. That's why I asked you out today."

I placed a hand over my heart as it began to race inside my chest. "That was very thoughtful of you, Noct." He smiled and began to twirl a strand of my (h/c) hair around his finger. "I'm glad you're enjoying it so far."

The gondola carries us to the other side of Altissia. We hop off and head deeper into the city. Hours felt like minutes as we began to explore every little thing that caught our attention.

Tired from all the walking, we decided to get some ice cream and sit down for awhile. Noctis had finished his dessert before I could even make a dent in mine.

"I can't believe you didn't get a brain freeze from eating the ice cream so quickly," I comment.

"I'm impervious to the cold," he said with a smirk.

"And your weakness is vegetables. What a superhero..." I tease. Noctis messes up my hair, causing me to smear some ice cream on my cheek.

"Ah, Noct!" I shout. He laughs at the sight of the smeared ice cream. When I tried to wipe it away, Noctis grabbed my hand to stop me. With his free hand, he held my face in place and began to close in. I felt a warm sensation on my cheek as his breath hit my skin.

"Wow, that was really sweet," he said, refusing to let go of me.

"D-did you just lick me?!" I shout. A wicked grin crept onto his face, signaling I had guessed correctly. My cheeks began to burn in embarrassment.

"The ice cream was almost as sweet as you," he whispers in a seductive tone. He pulled me even closer and stole a kiss from my lips. My whole body felt weak as he decided to come in for an even deeper kiss. The inside of my body felt like it was reaching inhumane temperatures.

Finally able to breath again, I stare with shock-filled eyes at the prince. "Y-you are crazy!" I shout. He smiles and pecks me on the nose. "No, just crazy for you, that's all."

Noctis finally freed me and I turned to hide my embarrassment. His laughter rang through my ears as he patted me on the head. I finally was able to calm down and finish the rest of my ice cream in peace. I felt a warm sensation on my head and saw Noctis was resting his on top of mine.

"I love you, (Y/n)."

"I love you more."

"Wanna wager on that?"

"You're on."
