~(Y/n)'s POV~

The excitement in Noctis' eyes burned more brightly than the sun. He jumped to his feet while the Regalia traveled to Lestallum. The posters grew in numbers as we approached the city. Both him and Prompto couldn't sit in their seats because of how happy they were.

"I'm so hyped. I can't believe it's finally here!" Noctis shouts.

"May I remind you there's an Imperial bounty on your head? Keep it in check." Ignis glanced at Noctis in the rearview mirror. Noctis rolls his eyes at the advisor's words. "Fine."

"C'mon, let him have some fun. It ain't easy being a wanted man," Gladio said, coming to Noctis' defense. As I listen to more cheers from Noctis and Prompto, I rub the sides of my forehead with my fingers.

"I swear, the two of you are like kids in a candy shop," I groan.

"Hey, you can't say you're not loving this," Noctis said with a smirk. I close my eyes and try to keep my feelings in check. "Noct, you dragged me to your apartment after school just to play Assassin's Creed. You even forced the controller into my hands!"

"Just one of the hundreds of perks that come with being Noct's girlfriend, (Y/n)," Gladio said with a small laugh. I sigh in annoyance as we finally reach Lestallum. We get out of the Regalia and explore the festival.

"Oh, Cindy and Holly are here," I announce. We head over and greet them. Holly told us a little about the festival and they were giving out robes. "Dude, can we get some?" Prompto asked. "Yeah! Can we?" Noctis begs next to the blonde. Holly and Cindy laugh as they hand the four of them assassin robes. Holly then locks eyes with me. "I've got a special one for you, my dear."

"Huh?"

Holly and Cindy grab and drag me. The guys all were confused as well. They watched as I was dragged into a nearby apartment building. Holly handed me robes and grinned. "Put these on. I know you'll look great!"

"Alright, I'll put them on," I said, giving in to Holly's kind words. Cindy giggled as I entered the bathroom to change. I had a little difficulty with the robes but was able to put them on nonetheless. I walk out of the bathroom, Holly and Cindy watching my every movement.

(A/n: I'll be stealing *cough* borrowing one of Evie's robes)

"Wow, you look amazin', Darlin'!" Cindy cries out. "The prince is gonna love this surprise," Holly cheers. We headed back to where we left the guys who were now in their robes. Prompto and Noctis, of course, were bouncing around as usual.

"Hope y'all didn't wait long!" Cindy yells to them. They shook their heads and tried to look pass Holly, who I was standing behind. Holly pushed me to the front where I heard four gasps. I was completely embarrassed as all four of them stared at me with wide eyes. Noctis quickly pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of me.

"Hey, delete that!" I shout. Noctis shook his head, sliding the phone back into his pocket. "No way in hell am I deleting it. You... look amazing," he said, a blush forming on his cheeks.

"This should be your outfit from now on, (Y/n)! I mean, you are an assassin in real life, but this is too cool!" Prompto squeals.

"His Majesty did hire me as an assassin to protect your careless ass," I said, pointing a finger at Noctis.

"(Y/n), this is right up your alley! Taking names and kicking ass!" Prompto shouts. I roll my eyes with a sigh.

"Oh, talk in a British accent like Iggy! You'll definitely be in character!" The blonde adds. Gladio chuckled while Ignis just smiled.

"Enough talk. Let's go check out the festival!" Noctis said, latching on to my hand. We all walked around Lestallum and enjoyed the festival. It was becoming late and we headed to Leville for the night.

-Next Morning-

When I tried to get out of bed, two arms restrained me. I try to pry them off of me, but Noctis tightens his hold. A smirk plays on my lips as I began to tickle the prince. His eyes fly open and his arms that were holding me back loosened. I jump to my feet and began changing into the robes Holly gave me. Noctis smirked as he watched me closely. I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him, smacking him right in the face. He falls off the bed and groans in pain. Laughter escapes me as I watch him crawl to his feet.

"Geez, (Y/n)," Noctis whines as he changed into his robes. Even though we learned that the Empire was in town last night, I'm glad he was still having fun.

We met everyone in the lobby. They were talking to a distressed Cindy. Apparently, Loqi was in town and trying to access the power plant. "Where's Holly now?" I ask. Cindy told us she was talking to Loqi as we spoke. Noctis and I nodded to each other and ran out to find her.

We reached the power plant and saw Loqi with tons of Magiteks. I was about to take another step, but Noctis wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me into a haystack. Before I could speak, Noctis clamps a hand over my mouth. He whispered for me to be quiet so we could listen in.

After getting all the information we needed, Noctis helped me out of the haystack. "So... get the keycards?" I ask. Noctis nods and we began searching the streets of Lestallum for Magitek troopers. Noctis and I split up to cover more ground.

I was only able to find three of the keycards. Hopefully, Noctis found the others. When we met up, Noctis wore a grave expression. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Loqi has the last one," he replies. "So... let's go find that asshole and get that keycard," I state. Noctis laughs and kisses me quickly on the cheek.

Noctis climbed the tower while I waited for news. After a few minutes, Noctis performs a leap of faith and lands in the haystack in front of me. "Any luck?" I ask.

"Oh, yeah. He's close, but he's got Magiteks with him.

"Of course..." I pinch the bridge of my nose with a sigh. "Y'know, it's too bad you can't use all your powers. That stupid implant is going to make this more challenging."

"Yeah," Noctis agreed. He led the way and we followed Loqi in secret. A few of the Magiteks got suspicious, but we were able to stay hidden. Once Loqi was alone, Noctis raised his hidden blade. I grabbed and pulled him back before he ran in.

"Noct, you have a bounty on your head. If he spots you, you'll be captured. Let me handle Loqi." I stare into his blue eyes with determination. Noctis sighs, giving in to my request. "Alright, but I'll be watching closely. If something goes wrong, I'll be there to help." I smiled and pecked him on the nose.

I approached Loqi from behind and tackled him to the ground. Before I could sink my blade into his chest, he kicked me in the stomach and sent me flying backwards. I dug my heels in the ground as I slid back. "Who the hell are you?" Loqi asked. He caught a glimpse of my face and his eyes widened in fear. "Y-you're that assassin traveling with the prince!"

"Aw, I'm honored," I smirk. Loqi snapped his fingers and Magiteks surrounded me. A small huff escapes me as Loqi storms off. "Noct, get Loqi! I'll handle these bastards," I announce. He nods and warps to the top of another building. With my hidden blade, I rid the streets of the Magiteks that had surrounded me.

I ended climbing up the side of the hotel to reach the room I was supposed to meet everyone in. All eyes landed on me as I vaulted over the railing. Noctis ran over and hugged me tightly. "I'm glad you're safe, (Y/n)."

"Noct, it was only a few Magiteks. You know I could handle them without a problem."

"I know, but I was still worried about you."

A warm smile spread across my face at his words. I stole a kiss from his slightly chapped lips. Noctis leaned his forehead against mine with passion-filled eyes. The others were watching, but both of us couldn't care less. He gave me a gentle kiss on my lips when I fell silent. Before he or I lost ourselves in the moment, I gently push him away. "Once we get rid of Loqi, then we can continue." Noctis sighs but agrees.

"Fine."
