~(Y/n)'s POV~
As months went by, Prompto has taken me on multiple dates. Even though he wasn't from Altissia, he'd always find a way to be with me. It warmed my heart that he cared so much for me. Our time together has been the best months of my life. I wasn't sure when he would be back this time, so I decided to lose myself in my drawings.
As I was drawing a view of the gondolas, my eyes were suddenly covered. I smiled and knew exactly who it was. "Prom?" I heard his giddy laughter as his hands fell from my eyes. "It took me awhile to find you, (Y/n)." He hugs me and I began to laugh. It felt like we were a couple, even though we hadn't admitted our feelings to each other.
"Sorry for the bother, (Y/n)," Ignis apologizes. "The only person he talks about is you," Noctis said with a smirk. I shook my head. "Don't worry about it. I enjoy every moment with Prom." I glanced up and saw Prompto's cheeks were slowly turning red. Gladio noticed and chuckled. "We'll leave you two alone."
Prompto tried to hide his red cheeks in the crook of my neck. I ran a hand through his soft, blonde hair. "I know a perfect place we could go, Prom. It's also a perfect place to take a picture of Altissia."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but we have to wait 'til sunset. That's when the sun bounces off the water's surface and creates a veil of beautiful tints."
"Now I can't wait!" He cheers. I got lost in the moment and kissed him on the cheek. If it were sunset now, Prompto's cheeks would match the horizon. His arms fell to his side and I decided to take his hand in mine. "The sun doesn't set for another few hours. What do you wanna do until then?" I ask.
"Could we go to that café you love so much?"
"Why there?"
"Because you got me hooked on it."
A smirk played on my lips. "It seems I've made you an addict of my favorite café. That's one thing off my to-do list." Prompto smiled and entwined our fingers together. We headed to the café and had a piece of chocolate cake. Our conversation was full of random laughter and teasing moments. We got lost in our own world and lost track of time.
I pulled out my phone and gasped. "We've gotta go!" I latch on to Prompto and drag him through the streets of Altissia. Once we arrived at the building, I stopped in my tracks. "Are you ready?" I ask him. Prompto nods with a huge smile.
We headed up a few flights of stairs to reach the roof of the building. When we did, Prompto immediately pulled out his camera. He kneeled as he took countless of photos of the beautiful scene before us. I stared at the glistening water that bordered the horizon. A flash caught my attention and I faced Prompto. His camera was aimed at me. I also noticed his cheeks were red.
"I have to capture all of Altissia's beauty. That includes you, (Y/n)." My eyes widen and I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. Prompto began to freak out once he saw I was crying. He ran over to me and cupped my cheeks in his hands. "Please don't cry, (Y/n)."
"I was just... really happy. Ever since I met you, my world has changed drastically. I know this sounds cheesy, but it's the truth. I'm glad I met you, Prom." After I told Prompto my feelings, he stole my lips with his soft ones. Our lips molded perfectly together. Prompto moved one of his hands to the back of my neck to deepen the kiss.
We kissed until the sun finally set beyond the horizon. After our little kissing session, I wrapped my arms around his torso and rested my head against his chest. Prompto stroked my hair and I felt at peace. He picked up his camera and took a picture of the both of us. "I'm totally gonna need a copy of that photo," I said.
"I'll definitely get you one," he replied joyfully. A ring suddenly came from Prompto's pocket. I almost jumped at the sudden noise. When Prompto saw who it was, he rolled his eyes with a sigh. "It's the guys..." He was about to answer it, but I snatched the phone away from him.
"Don't worry about them. I'm stealing you for the night."
Prompto froze at my words. I jump up and kiss his cheek. "You can text them you're with me. They'll understand." Prompto nodded shyly. "O-okay." I hugged his arm and took him to my apartment. Since we only had a piece of cake earlier, I decided to make dinner. When I finished, I could tell Prompto's mouth was watering from the aroma. I gave him the plate and he thanked me with a smile.
"It's breaded cutlet with tomato. I hope you like it." He took a bite and his eye lit up. "Wow, (Y/n)! Iggy would be jealous if he tasted this!" I sat next to him and ate my portion. We talked for hours even after we finished dinner. He helped me wash the dishes, which made it much easier and quicker to finish. I noticed it was a little past eleven.
Prompto had sat down on my couch and leaned his head back. I made sure that he texted his friends before they began searching all of Altissia for him. When I looked back at Prompto, he was snoring lightly. I smile at the sight and kiss him on the forehead.
"Goodnight, Prom."
