~(Y/n)'s POV~

"Sora!" I shout after the young Keyblade wielder. He, Donald, and Goofy storm off. I sigh and place my hands on my hips. "I swear..." Suddenly I felt a hand gently rest atop my head. "Let's hurry before they get into trouble," Ignis said. We were currently in a place called Port Royal. The moon was high and it created eerie shadows all around us.

We ran through the streets until the trio came into view. "Oh, great. Pete's here too," I groan. Sora, Donald, and Goofy were fighting against a group of men who were dressed like pirates. When they stepped into the moonlight, their bodies changed. "Hey, don't let them see ya!" Pete shouts. I summon my Keyblade while Ignis summons his daggers.

"It seems they don't take damage in those forms," Ignis said. I noticed what he meant and an idea struck me. "Sora, push them into the shadows!" The trio nodded and pushed the pirates out of the moonlight. Their bodies were back to normal and we were able to get rid of them. When I looked around for Pete, he was gone.

"Do you hear that?" Donald asked. "It sounds like screaming!" Goofy began looking around frantically for who it was. Sora gazed down a dark street and gasped. "There!" Ignis and I looked to where he was pointing. A woman was being carried away by a pirate. Without hesitating, I ran after them. "(Y/n), wait!" Ignis shouts. I heard the whole group yelling for me to wait. I pushed their yelling aside and went after the pirate. When I had finally caught up, a group of pirates had surrounded me.

"Aye, another lass for the Black Pearl!" One pirate shouts. They all raised their swords and began to cheer. Before I could summon my Keyblade, a bony hand grabbed my wrist. "Let go!" I shout and push the pirate away from me. This caused the others to reach out and try to grab me. Before one could touch me, I felt an arm wrap around my waist. When I glanced at who it was, I realized it was Ignis. He pulled me close and aimed his dagger at the pirates.

"Do not touch her," he said in a low voice. The pirates drew their swords and crept towards us. I acted quickly and summoned my Keyblade. Even though I was still being held by Ignis, I was able to cast aero. Their bodies were caught in the vortex of wind. We took the chance and escaped. Sora, Donald, and Goofy were running full-speed towards us.

"Are you okay, (Y/n)?" Sora asked worriedly. "Yeah, thanks to Iggy." I smiled at them. Ignis had a strong grip on my hand. Sora smiled in relief at the news. Donald and Goofy were grinning once they saw that we were still holding hands. Sora also noticed and hummed. "Are you two together?" He asked out of the blue. "Um, yes," I answer shyly.

"I knew it!" Donald shouts with a laugh. I began to blush and hid behind Ignis. Our hands stayed connected as we headed to the port. Sora had mentioned he met someone named William Turner. The woman I ran after was named Elizabeth Swann. Will was in need of help to save her. If only I had been able to stop the pirates, Will wouldn't need to look for a ship to get Elizabeth back.

I sigh sadly and stare at the ground. Ignis let go of my hand and gently cupped my cheeks. He tilted my head up in order for me to meet his mesmerizing green eyes. "I know what you're thinking. There were too many enemies. We couldn't have done anything."

"You're right. I'm sorry for running off earlier." Ignis smiled and kissed me on the forehead. "I'm just glad you're alright."

"No flirting in front of us!" Donald snaps. Sora and Goofy hit Donald on the back as I began to blush. "Leave them alone, Donald," Sora said. They dragged the duck away from us so we could be alone. Ignis sighs as we watch them walk a few feet ahead of us. We finally reach the docks and meet up with William. He seemed distraught about the whole ordeal. There was only one ship left in the docks that wasn't burnt in the attack.

"Why not this ship?" Goofy asked the young man. "We can't just steal a ship," Will replied. "Especially when the one who owns it is onboard," a man said as he walked off the ship. He wore a pirate hat and smelt like alcohol. Will stood in front of the man and begged for his help. He told the man about how Elizabeth was captured.

"Just find a new lass. What about her? She's a pretty one." The man pointed to me and my eyes widened at his words. Ignis glared at him as he stood in front of me protectively. "I will not abandon Miss Swann!" Will shouts at the man. I flinched at his sudden declaration.

"Fine, but I'm the Captain. You will address me as Captain Jack Sparrow," the man announces. I cross my arms and sigh. "Someone has a huge ego..." Sora, Donald, and Goofy laughed at my words while Ignis just grinned. I could tell he was holding in his laughter. Jack ignored my words and we all boarded the ship. We set sail in the dark night and are embraced by the blackened sea below.

I leaned over the side of the ship and gazed at the water below. "Don't lean too far over. I wouldn't want you to fall overboard," Ignis said as he stood by my side. As we sat in a comfortable silence, we suddenly heard Will shouting at Jack. I slumped against the railing as I heard them arguing. Ignis laid a warm and gentle hand on my back.

"Once this is over, I want to see everyone." Ignis nodded in agreement. He ran a hand through my (h/c) hair gently. "Why didn't you stay behind?" My question caught him by surprise. "I'd never let you do anything dangerous by yourself."

"I'm not alone. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are here, too."

"Sora may be a Keyblade wielder like you, but I could never place you in someone else's care. I would get worried the second you left."

"You're gonna make me cry..."

His words made me so happy. A few tears cascaded down my cheek. Ignis pulled me close and wiped the tears away. "You're too important to me," he whispered sweetly. I stared into his warm, green eyes with my (e/c) ones. I covered his hands with my smaller ones. "And you are very important to me too, Ignis."

Our joyous moment was ruined by Jack. "Now, let's settle this now. What will your payment for this voyage be?"

"Payment? I don't have much," I admit. Jack tapped his chin as he looked down at me. "That sword you had earlier, that'll be good enough." Ignis and I were taken aback. How did he know about my Keyblade? Sora heard this and stormed over. "I'll give you my Keyblade once everyone is safe," he said and shows his Keyblade to Jack. He examined Sora's Keyblade and shook his head.

"Hers is more interesting." Jack pointed to me. I took a deep breath and thought for a few seconds. "Alright, Jack. You can have my Keyblade when this is all over."

"(Y/n)," Ignis called my name softly. "Don't worry, Iggy." Jack smiled at my response. "Then, we have an accord?" He stuck his hand out. I took it and shook to confirm our agreement. Jack returned to the helm with a grin plastered to his face. "But,
(Y/n)..." Sora looked at me in disbelief. I smiled confidently at him. "Don't worry. Jack played right into my hands."

"Maybe you should be a pirate, (Y/n)," Goofy said. I shook my head. "I'd miss too many people if I were to become one."

"Yeah, we'd miss you, too," Sora said. We talked a little longer about this strange world. Our conversation came to a halt when another ship was heading straight for us. I also sensed the presence of Heartless nearby. I summoned my Keyblade and readied to fight. Sora, Donald, and Goofy prepared for battle along side me. Ignis also summoned his daggers as he kept a close watch on the ship that was only a few yards away.

Will ran down to join us. Jack stayed at the helm to steer the ship. "That was the ship Elizabeth was taken to!" I shout to Will. His eyes gleam with hope. I know he desperately wants to get her back safely. Laughter cut through the air from the other ship.

"If it isn't Jack Sparrow!" The captain of the ship shouts in laughter. "It's CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow," he corrects. "That's Captain Barbossa. The ship must be the Black Pearl," Will said. "Pete, what are you planning?!" Sora shouts as we see him on the other ship. "You'll see soon enough!" Pete shouts with a deep chuckle.

"We've come to claim another prize!" Barbossa announces. "Prize?" Ignis mutters in confusion. "And what's that?" Sora asked the captain with anger tinting his tone. Barbossa's eyes bore into me. I tense up at his menacing gaze. "The young lass aboard your ship has powers I've never seen before. It'd be a shame if those powers went to waste!"

"There's no way we would give you (Y/n)!" Sora yells at the top of his lungs. Pete must've told him about my magic abilities. An idea struck a cord within my mind. I took Ignis' hand and held it in both of mine. He gazed down at me with questioning eyes. "(Y/n), I know that look. What are you planning?"

"Listen, if I hand myself over, I'll be able to find Elizabeth."

"I'm not letting them get you," Ignis said with a stern voice. I moved my hands to his cheeks. "Ignis, I'll be fine. Do you still have that gem I gave you?" He nods and pulls out the beautiful teardrop gem I gave him not too long ago.

"You'll be able to find me with this gem. The brighter it glows, the closer you are to me."

"(Y/n)-"

"I'll be fine. We'll find Elizabeth and then we can see the others, I promise." Ignis placed his hands over mine. His fingers clung tightly to mine. I kiss him on the lips. Too bad the kiss couldn't last long. His grip didn't waver as I tried to pull away. Before I pulled away, Ignis gave me a worried glance. "Do be careful. You are careless at times."

I giggle and peck him on the cheek. "Tell the plan to Will and the others. Leave Elizabeth to me." Ignis reluctantly let go of me. I faced Barbossa and told him I would board his ship. "What?!" Sora, Donald, and Goofy shouted in unison. "A fine lass ye are," Barbossa compliments.

"I do have one condition."

"And what might that be?"

"Everyone aboard this ship will not be harmed. If they are, I will not hesitate to use my powers against you and your crew. Do we have an agreement?"

"A brave one, too. Fine, we have an accord." The Black Pearl pulled up next to our ship. A plank connected both of the ships for me to cross. Jack just watched everything unfold without saying a word. I stepped up on the plank and was about to walk over. Ignis had grabbed my hand and wasn't letting go.

"Ignis, trust me." Those words were enough for Ignis to let me go. His sad expression shattered my heart into tiny pieces. As I reached the Black Pearl, one of the pirates grabbed my wrist and pulled me off the plank. "Let's get rid of this curse!" Barbossa chants. The moon emerges from behind a few clouds to reveal the pirates' true natures. I took a step away from them and ended up leaning against the railing of the ship. I glance at Ignis and see him sending death glares to the pirates.

"(Y/n)!" Sora shouts. I could tell Ignis was trying to keep his anger and worry at bay. The ship vanished and my journey on the Black Pearl began.

~3rd Person POV~

Ignis watched in anger and worry as the Black Pearl vanished into the dark night. His fingers dig into his gloves as they curl into fists. "Don't worry, Ignis. We'll get (Y/n) back!" Sora declares strongly. "I know we will. I'm just worried about her when she isn't around."

"Gawrsh, what do we do now?" Goofy asked. Ignis filled everyone, including Jack, on (Y/n)'s plan. He also showed him the teardrop gem that she gave him. "We can track her with this," he said. The gem had a faint glow to it. Ignis walked to the bow of the ship and the gem radiated even brighter.

"I know where they are heading," Jack said. He steered the ship with ease to their destination. On the way, Heartless appeared on the ship. Without (Y/n), they had some trouble getting rid of them. In the end, they defeated all the Heartless. As the ship got closer to Isla de Muerta, the gem in Ignis' hand radiated brightly. When the ship anchored, Ignis didn't hesitate to jump off.

~(Y/n)'s POV~

Barbossa and his crew anchored at an island with a dark atmosphere. When I was dragged off the ship, I was able to spot Elizabeth. The pirates took us into a system of caves. Once inside, we were taken to a room that had gold and gems scattered everywhere. I was able to slip by and get to Elizabeth.

"You're Elizabeth Swann, yes?"

"How do you know my name?"

"A young man named William is looking for you. He was on the same ship I was before I came aboard Captain Barbossa's vessel."

"You willingly came aboard the Black Pearl?" Her face was brimming with shock and surprise. I nodded. "It was to keep everyone I cared about safe. Isn't that why you took Will's place?"

"How did you-"

"I overheard Will talking about the medallion. They shouldn't be far behind. I'm going to create a distraction. You take that time to escape."

"What about you?"

"I'll find my own way out."

She was hesitant to agree but did so in the end. Our conversation was cut short when Barbossa approached me. "Let's see if your powers will be enough to lift our curse." As all the pirates turned their attention to me, I acted quickly. I summoned my Keyblade and casted thundara.

"Elizabeth, go!" I shout as all the pirates fall to the ground. Their bodies were paralyzed from my magic. Barbossa was the first to recover and pulled his sword out of its sheath. I blocked his blade with mine and pushed him back. His crew was still down, trying to get ahold of themselves. I caught Barbossa off-guard and attacked. When I was about to finish him off, a beam of moonlight shone upon him. I completely forgot he was immortal due to the curse.

He chuckled evilly and kicked me in the stomach. My body landed in a pool of cold water not far from where I stood. My Keyblade had been knocked out of my hand and vanished. I gasped for air as Barbossa approached me. I tried to crawl away, but he was too quick. Barbossa raised his sword and readied to plunge it through my chest. I closed my eyes, waiting for the pain to come.

A grunt of pain suddenly escaped Barbossa. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a familiar dagger embedded in his chest. I was suddenly scooped up in someone's arms and carried away from Barbossa. "Are you alright?" I looked up and saw a pair of familiar green eyes. "Y-yeah, thank you, Ignis." He held me close as Barbossa pulled Ignis' dagger from his chest.

"Barbossa!" Will's voice boomed. The captain changed his attention from us to Will. The medallion fell from Will's hand. Blood covered the gold as it fell to join the others just like it. Barbossa's eyes widened and brought a hand to his chest. When he removed his hand, blood painted it a deep red.

Jack appeared and just gave Barbossa a blank stare. "I feel... cold." With those final words, Barbossa fell to the ground. The pirate crew was also unmoving. My magic must've effected them more than Barbossa. Ignis sets me on my feet once he saw it was safe. Sora, Donald, and Goofy join us after defeating a few Heartless that had followed them. Elizabeth was also with them.

When Will saw Elizabeth, he ran over to her. The trio ran over to me and Ignis. "The plan worked!" Donald cheers. Ignis filled me in on what he, Will, and Jack came up with. "The plan went smoother because you already took out the crew," Ignis said.

"(Y/n), you've gotta teach me! Your magic is more powerful than mine!" Sora smiled at me. "Your magic was enough to kill them once the curse was broken," Ignis added. "So, the curse was broken when the medallion was covered in Will's blood and put back?" Ignis nodded. He also told me of how the medallion was actually stolen by Will's father. The curse will only be broken if the blood of the one who stole the medallion was spilled upon it. Since Will's father wasn't here, he used his blood instead.

"My head is spinning..." I mumble as I held my head in my hands. Ignis smiled and placed his hands over mine. "You nearly gave me a heart attack when you boarded the Black Pearl," Ignis whispered to me. I giggle and lean my head back to rest it against his chest. "Iggy, you've fallen in love with a crazy person. I hope you're ready for that."

He grinned and kissed me gently on the lips. "I'll make sure to prepare myself next time." Our moment was cut short when Jack called my name. "I believe you owe me." I felt my eye twitch because of his attitude. I sigh and hand Jack my Keyblade. He examined it closely with hungry eyes. When he took a step back, my Keyblade reappeared in my hand. Jack stopped in his tracks and turned to face me with a smirk.

"It seems you would make a fine pirate, Miss (Y/n)." I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow at him. "Jack, I know you're not a civilian. You're a pirate yourself. Also, the ship you're navigating isn't yours." The trio gasped and stared at Jack in shock. "You have a keen eye. I'm impressed. What gave me away?"

"That you were on the ship during the attack. A proud captain doesn't hide from a fight. He handles them head-on. Also, Ignis told me about the plan. A normal civilian doesn't have that much knowledge on a captain of a cursed ship. You knew Barbossa personally." Jack stared at me in awe. Even Ignis was shocked at how much I was able to evaluate in just a small amount of time. Jack then chuckled and took his hat off. "You got me. I'm very impressed."

"You're just too easy to read and your appearance screams "pirate." While we're gone, make sure to teach yourself how to lie better. You're gonna need it, especially if you plan on stealing."

"I'll keep that in mind." Jack placed his hat back on his head and left. "Wow, I can't believe you figured all that out," Sora said. I just shrugged my shoulders. "It's easy for me to tell if someone's lying. I'm also good at reading others body language."

"That explains how you figured out Prompto was lying about Cindy," Ignis states. I nodded and smiled at him. I placed a finger over my lips so he would keep it a secret. He smiled and placed a hand on my head. "You never cease to amaze me, (Y/n)."

The trio was grinning at us and casually walked away so we could be alone. "I want to visit Eos. I'm sure King Regis would like to see us all. It's been awhile."

"Once we leave this world, we'll head back to Hollow Bastion and get everyone. Then we can go back to Eos," Ignis said. Will and Elizabeth walked over to us with smiles. "Thank you for everything, you two," Will said. "Yes. I hope we will get to properly pay you back soon," Elizabeth added. I shook my head. "Don't worry about it. I'm glad you're both safe. Will was the one who was most worried about you." My words had made Will blush a little. Elizabeth laughed at his red cheeks.

"We need to be heading home," Ignis said. "Please, do come see us," Elizabeth said sweetly. They both headed back to the ship in silence. I opened a portal to Hollow Bastion with my Keyblade. "What about the others?" Ignis asked. I waved a hand in the direction the trio walked off in. "Don't worry about them. They can get back without us. Come on!" I grab his hand and jump through the portal.

The portal closed behind us as we landed in Hollow Bastion. "(Y/n)! Iggy!" My body was soon crushed in a hug. Familiar blonde hair made it easy for me to tell who it was. "P-Prom, can't breathe..." I manage to get out. He lets me go and smiles. "Sorry."

"How did it go?" Noctis asked. "It could've gone better, but we were able to help in the end," I reply. Gladio came over and suddenly pulled on my cheek. "You look horrible," he chuckles. I smacked his hand away and rubbed at my sore cheek. "Just what a girl wants to hear. Thanks, big guy." I stuck my tongue out at the bodyguard. He just crossed his arms with a smirk.

"Who's ready to head back to Eos for awhile?" I ask cheerfully. They all smiled at my question and nodded. "Yay! Let's go!" I open a portal that lead to the palace in Insomnia. Ignis and I were left alone as the other three went through. Before I could go through the portal, Ignis pulled me to him. He spun me around so I could face him. I was about to say something, but his soft lips cut me off. Our kiss was short but passionate. Once we pulled apart, I gasp for air. "Wait, we forgot about Pete!" I shout out of the blue. Ignis chuckled as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"We'll worry about him later. Let's go before they get any strange ideas," Ignis said and took my hand. We entwined our fingers as my cheeks began to turn red. "I'm totally going to get you back for this." He chuckles and we step through the portal.

"I'll be waiting."
