You ran up the stairs to the training room where Gladiolus was waiting for you to begin training. You, Gladiolus, and two others were going to escort Prince Noctis Lucius Caelm to Altissia for him to wed to Lady Lunafreya. You thought that you weren't capable on protecting the boy, so Gladious offered to help you become stronger.

As you entered the training room, you saw Gladious punching on the punching bag. You closed the door, causing it to gain the attention of the male.

"Good, you're here. Now, let's start out with some laps. Then, we'll work on physical strength like punching and stuff. Alright?" He said as you was stretching your arms and legs before doing laps, which consists of running around the gym for about five minutes straight.

Once you were done, you head towards Gladiolus who was in the center of the room, waiting on you to get over there. He had his arms crossed over his chest. Gladious usually had a black jacket on, but he didn't have it on today, which showed his tattoos and his glorious abs.

"Alright. Let's get down to business. First you want to have your stance in case your weapon somehow gets out of your grasp or something." He said as you got in your stance. "Good. Now take a swing at me. Don't worry, (Y/N). I can take it." You obeyed and swung at him, but Gladiolus caught your fist right before it hit his body.

"Now, you need to study your opponent. Last thing we need is a fallen team member. Again."

It continued on until it you went on to sword fighting. Now, Gladiolus taught you some moves that will help in battle. You learned extremely quickly due to the fact that you had little time to learn before you set off with Gladio and them.

You let out a battle cry as you blocked Gladio's attack, then swung your blade at the male. Apparently, he blocked, then hit you instead. You fell back and let out a whimper, pretending to be hurt. Gladio stopped what he was doing, and a look of concern was plastered on his face.

"(Y/N), are you okay? Did I hurt you?" He asked, worryingly. Little did he know is that you had a plan in mind. You smirked before you knocked his legs which caused him to fall on his back. You pin him to the cold ground so he couldn't get up.

"I win." You whisper in his ear. You giggle from how you manage to take him down so easily. Then you realized how you were on top of him, causing you to blush a crimson color.

"Sorry." You mumbled as you began to get up when he pulled you back in his lap. His arms snaked their way around your waist as he stared into your (E/C) orbs. "G-G-Gladio?" You stuttered before you felt pressure on your soft lips. You had just realized what was going on until Gladiolus pulled away.

Your widened eyes only caused him to say: "I'm so sorry. I knew this wouldn't-." You cut him off by reconnecting y'all's lips together with your hands on his cheeks, and his on your waist once again. It continues like that for two more minutes before you two pulled away, resting their foreheads against the other.

"I love you so much, (Y/N)." Gladiolus whispered so just you could hear.

"I love you too, Gladiolus." You said with your eyes closed and a smile appeared on your face. You never realize how much you love somebody until they actually say 'I love you' and you say it back.
