It was eight o'clock in the morning. The sky has finally awoke, which you loved to gaze at. You were on your daily morning jog where you get up every morning at dawn and go for a jog to start your day.

The cool air strikes your face as you went at a steady pace. Cars passed you by as they went to another day at work. As you pass people on the streets, they greet you because you're known to be a nice person. You smile and say a greeting back, but continue jogging.

Everything seemed to be going well this morning. Nothing going wrong. Nothing happening. That is until you spot a boy in his early twenties crossing the street with earbuds in his ears. You saw a truck coming towards him at a fast pace. Your eyes widened as you notice that the blonde boy wasn't paying attention. You sprint towards him and tackled him to the ground, out of the way of the truck and back on to the sidewalk on the other side where he was going.

"What the actual heck happened?" The blonde boy exclaimed. You were bend over with your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath. You stand up straight and looked at the boy. He had a confused look on his face.

"I just saved your life." You simply say to the blonde. "You were crossing the street, and a truck was coming down at a fast pace. You wasn't paying attention  to your surroundings. Then you know what happens next." You explained.

"Oh my god! Thank you..."

"(Y/N). My name is (Y/N)." You introduced yourself.

"Thank you, (Y/N). I owe you one for saving me." He thanked.

"No, no. You don't need to do anything. As long as your safe, I'm good." You smile at the last part.

"Nope. I'm not letting you leave here until I pay you back for the kind and brave deed you've done for me, (Y/N)." You sigh in defeat, knowing that the boy won't let you go without paying you back.

"Fine. Meet me at the café that's near the palace in an hour." You said. "Wait... I don't even know your freaking name."

"The name's Prompto. Prompto Argentum." Prompto said. "Here is my number." He spoke, writing it down on a piece of paper.

"Thanks, Prompto. I'll see you in an hour then." You say before running back home to shower and all that jazz. Once you got home, you made your way to your shower. As you got your clothes while the shower was warming up, you began to think about Prompto.

Prompto is a sweet guy. But, I wish he didn't feel the need to pay me back after saving him. You thought. His short, unruly blonde hair fits him perfectly, and his eyes... oh his beautiful blue eyes! What?! Stop it (Y/N)! You just met the guy for crying out loud!

You hop into the shower after stripping yourself down of your clothes. The hot water fall down onto your skin. Once you got out, you got yourself ready to meet up with Prompto.

Prompto's POV

YO, Noct!

What's up, Prom

Do you, Ignis, and Gladio want to join me at the café near the palace in an hour?

Sure. No problem

Great! See ya later bro

Later

I can't wait until I see (Y/N) again.

Your POV

With everything done, you grab your keys and phone before walking to the café. Your phone dinged, notifying you that you got a text.

Hey (Y/N)
Do you mind if I invite three of my closest friends along with me

Not at all Prompto
I'm just about to turn the corner

Alright see you

You turned the corner and entered the café. You saw the familiar blonde headed boy sitting with his friends he mentioned. You don't think that he saw you, so you snuck up behind him. His friends looked at you but you put a finger on your lips. You place your small hands on his blue eyes.

"What the-" he said before removing your hands to turn to look at you. Once Prompto's eyes connected with yours, he smiled. "Hey (Y/N)." Prompto said.

"Hey Prompto." You say as you took the seat in between a ravenette and Prompto. "So, who's your friends."

"That's Noctis, Gladio, and Ignis." He replied, pointing to each person as he said their name.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. (Y/N)." Ignis said.

"No need for formalities. Just call me (Y/N)." You reply.

"So I heard a rumor that you saved this person's life." Noctis said.

"It's no problem really."

"Anyway, tell us about yourself, (Y/N)." Gladio said.

It was like perfect with Prompto, Noct, Gladio, and Ignis. You got to know all of them like you hadn't just met them. It couldn't be better than this.

From that day, your feelings for Prompto grew deeper and stronger as the days went by. Then, it came the day where he had to go accompany Noct to Altissia where Noct would wed Lady Lunafreya. That's the day he confessed his feelings towards you and even KISSED you. Nothing could get any better than this.
