~3rd Person POV~

"Y'know, you're gonna create a hole if you keep pacing like that," Prompto said.

"You'd be doing this, too, if you knew your girlfriend was missing for three days straight," Noctis retorts.

The cameraman put his hands up in the air. "All I'm sayin' is that Bella's fine! She's a tough one."

Then, the door to their room in Lestallum opened. Gladio, Ignis, and Bella's companion, Kirara, entered the room. The nekomata changed into her smaller form and hopped on the bed beside Prompto.

(A/n: I need a Kirara in my life!)

"What's more concerning is that she left Kirara behind. She rarely leaves her behind," Noctis points out, gesturing to the adorable creature.

"No one's seen her 'round here. Best we move on to the next town. Who knows where the hell she could've gone," the shield states.

"Have you attempted contact?" Ignis ponders.

Noctis sighs, "She's not answering her phone at all."

"I'm sure she's safe. I just know it!" Prompto proclaims.

The prince glances away, crestfallen at their failure. "You better be right, Prom."

~Bella's POV (Midgar)~

Sitting in Seventh Heaven, I ask Tifa for just a simple glass of water. She passed the glass to me, eyeing my every move. "You've been gone for almost a year and you're acting like you've been here the whole time!"

"Midgar is my home, but it seems I've made a new one on my unsuspected journey through worlds."

Tifa raised a brow, staring into my sky blue eyes. "There's a boy, isn't there?"

"... Maybe..." I mutter, taking a swig of water.

She went to squeal in joy, but the sound of the door opening stopped her. Cloud and Zack, my brother, entered the bar. When their eyes landed on me, I waved and smiled. Jaws dropping in shock, the two boys were glued to the spot.

Regaining his mobility, Zack stormed over and entrapped my body in a suffocating hug. I could barely breathe as my brother embraced me. Tifa coughed, catching Zack's attention and seeing that I wasn't able to breathe. He released me and sat me back down on my stool. "Where've you been?! All of us have been worried!"

"Just sit down and I'll tell you," I sigh. Cloud and Zack sat on either side of me, listening to the time I had spent in Lucis with Noctis, Prompto, Gladio, and Ignis. The two boys had ordered drinks as they listened intently to every word I had to say. Tifa even forgot to serve a few customers as she listened, too.

After spilling my story, Zack eyed me suspiciously. "And you're now dating this "Noctis" person?"

"Were you not listening?" I scoff.

"I was! It's just... I can't believe you have a boyfriend..."

"It's about time," Cloud comments.

"At least you're on my side, Cloud," I smile at the blonde.

"I see where Zack's coming from, but you're old enough to take care of yourself without him butting into your love life."

"Hey, this is my baby sister we're talking about! No one can date her until I approve of them!" Zack snaps.

Cloud ignored him and asked me a question. "How long will you be here, Bella?"

"I'm not really sure, but I'm hoping it's not for long. I left without saying a word and they're probably worried. I even left Kirara behind. Poor girl's gonna lose her mind if I'm not back soon."

"How is the sweet girl?" Tifa asked with a smile.

"She's well. It took her awhile to get used to Lucis, but now she loves it."

"Marlene asked me about you two the other day. She's been eager to see both of you again."

I smile, "I know she loves Kirara. Every time we're over, those two play together until they're worn out. I'll try to bring her along on my next visit."

Zack finished his drink and stood up. "Alright, sis! Since you won't be here for long, let's make sure to spend it with everyone!"

My smile widens. "Yeah, I'd like that."

~3rd Person POV (Galdin Quay)~

-Four Days Later-

Noctis was a complete mess. He could barley sleep and eat, causing the others to worry. While in Galdin Quay, Bella's trail had gone cold. No one had seen the girl for an entire week and the prince was worried sick.

It was around noon when Noctis had found himself on the fishing dock. He walked all the way out to the beach to clear his head with some fishing, but it wasn't working. Sighing, he dispelled his rod and stared down and the rifts upon the water's surface. Fish were swimming below, taunting him slightly.

Tired, Noctis sat down on the edge of the dock and fell into deep thought. As he rested his hands in his lap, Kirara bounded over and sat next to him. The boy moved one of his hands to her head and scratched behind her ears while smiling. "You're the only connection I have left to Bella," he mutters sadly.

Crestfallen, Noctis' eyes return to the gleaming ocean. Staring down at his reflection, he noticed a face just beside his. "What're you doing moping around?" Black and silver locks framed the woman's face beautifully as she smiled and peered over his shoulder to stare at his reflection.

Noctis nearly jumped out of skin when he saw her standing behind him. It took him a few seconds to register the woman was actually Bella. The moment she took a few steps back, the prince flew to his feet and latched onto her. His arms wrapped around her smaller frame and pulled her body flush against his. Kirara hopped onto Bella's head as Noctis embraced her.

"Where the hell have you been?" Noctis inquired.

"For some odd reason, I was transported to Midgar. Not sure why, but I was able to see all my friends and brother again. I told them everything about Lucis and the rest of you."

Noctis pulled away slightly. "You didn't want to stay?"

"If I did, I would be missing two parts of my family. Also, the transporting happens at random and I'm not completely sure how to control it. Once I do, I'll take all four of you to Midgar. Then, you can meet my brother and our friends."

"Y'know, you had me worried," he murmured.

Bella pecks him on the cheek. "I'm sorry, Noct."

The prince leaned down to Bella's height, threading a hand through her black and silver locks. "Don't apologize, Bella."

Before Noctis could kiss her, the sound of his stomach ruined the moment. The prince groaned in annoyance, resting his head on Bella's shoulder as Kirara moved to stand by their feet. She giggles as she spotted his red ears. "Have you been eating properly?"

"Not since you left," he confesses.

"Noct," Bella said in a scolding tone. "You really need to eat. Since we're in Galdin, let's eat at the Mother of Pearl. If you don't eat, you won't get a kiss."

Noctis raised a brow. "If I eat, you'll give me a kiss?"

"Yep. Now, let's go get some lunch. I'm sure the others are probably looking for you, too."

"You better hold up your end of the bargain," Noctis smirks.

Bella smiled. "I always do."
