Scenario: Faith

Even though the chancellor had kidnapped him, (M/N) had been standing his ground both physically and mentally throughout the torture being inflicted upon him, because the (H/C) haired oracle had faith in his loyal knight and the promise of being rescued from the hellish torment, but he had to admit his confidence in being saved was wavering. After all, Ardyn had been breaking and shattering his optimism one whip and punch and slap at a time. However, (M/N) hadn't been shattered completely just yet and still remained constant in his belief of being rescued, because the (E/C) eyed oracle had known his devoted knight since birth and the blonde man was more terrifying in his sudden outbursts of rage upon witnessing loved ones being hurt than the chancellor could ever be. "Where is your knight in shining armor, (M/N)?" Ardyn mocked, while running the tip of his knife across (M/N)'s cheek, as the (H/C) haired oracle gritted his teeth in pain. "Come on, (M/N)! Where is your little knight in shining armor, huh? Where is Prompto? Where is he?"

Just like before, (M/N) had clamped his mouth shut and not spoken a word, because the (E/C) eyed oracle truly did not know his dutiful knight's whereabouts, but he did know that the chancellor would continue torturing him no matter what, so he had decided the best thing for him to do in this situation was being adamant on standing his ground and not uttering a single word. However, Ardyn was becoming angrier and angrier with the silent treatment being given to him. Even so, (M/N) had not broken down from the abuse inflicted upon him, because the (H/C) haired oracle had sensed a familiar presence racing towards his direction, but he had noticed that presence was also twisted and contorted in rage. "If you lay another hand on him, I'll have dogs rip each and every limb from your body nice and slow," Prompto said, while pointing his gun at the chancellor, as (M/N) breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed on the ground at his knight's feet. "Then, I'll have you fed to them. However, I believe that would be animal cruelty, because even animals aren't fit to eat a disgusting creature like you."

In an instant, (M/N) had been plucked off of the ground and embraced in the arms of his enraged knight. However, (M/N) had barely the chance to speak a word before his (E/C) orbs were quickly covered and the sounds of gunshots were loudly erupting around him. Even so, (M/N) had remained vigilant in not crying and continued clutching fearfully onto his trigger-happy knight. In due time, though, (M/N) had heard the screams come to an end and only the sounds of metal bullet casings clattering against the ground. "Prompto, I'm so glad to see you!" (M/N) cried out, while allowing himself to break down and burst into tears, as the blonde knight smiled and gently inspected all of his wounds. "I love you! Please don't ever leave me alone again!"
