When my eyes next opened I felt a hand holding mine. I turned my head and saw Ignis fast asleep holding my hand. I smiled softly and squeezed his hand. His head shot up and he met my eyes.

Ignis looked so differently then when we had last saw each other. He looked older and now had a scar along his face. His hair was also a little longer.

"Maria." He whispered as he looked at me shocked.

"Hi Iggy." I said softly.

He quickly climbed onto the bed and pulled me into a tight embrace.

"I missed you too." I said softly.

"If you ever leave me again... I'll never forgive you." He said softly.

"I'll hold you too that." I said with a small laugh.

"I love you." He said quickly.

"I love you too." I said as he leaned down and gently kissed me.

"Marry me." He said after pulling away.

"You know, I didn't expect to ever get asked that." I said softly.

"You should of known better." He said softly.

"Well technically I didn't get asked-"

"Maria Lucis Caelum will you marry me?" He asked as he pulled a ring out.

"Have you just kept that in your pocket?"

"Yes I have now answer the question." He said with a smile.

"Yes... yes I'll marry you." I said as I captured his lips in another kiss.

After awhile I was allowed to see everyone else. Prompto ended up bursting into tears, Gladio ended up yelling at me for scaring him. Noct was the last one for me to see.

"I'll give you two a moment." Ignis said softly.

"Iggy told me I had been dead for ten years." I said softly.

"How long have you known?" He asked as he set in the chair beside me.

"I was two when Somnus told me. You had been injured and taken to the Oracle." I said softly.

"How did I never know you had so much on your plate?" He asked sadly.

"Because I wanted to have only good memories with you. I didn't want for you to know what would one day happen." I said softly.

"You could of let me in."

"I wanted you to be happy.... it didn't matter that I had so much on my plate."

"That's why dad pushed you away." He said softly.

"Actually... I pushed him away. I told him to worry about you and not me." I said softly.

"He still could of-"

"I didn't want him to miss me." I said softly.

"And you would have me mourn you?"

"As long as you were alive.... it didn't matter what became of me." I said softly.

He shock his head and let out a sigh.

"I'd be alive... but I would be in constant pain.... and I would never forgive myself for not protecting you." Noct said as tears streamed down his face.

"I know... but I couldn't forgive myself if I let you die.... not to mention you had to marry Luna." I said with a smile.

He shook his head and sent me a smile.

"Thank you... for always protecting me... when I didn't even know I needed protected." He said softly.

"Can't believe I missed the wedding though." I said with a laugh.

"Yea, well guess I'll just have to miss yours and Iggy's."

"Don't you dare." I said with a laugh.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too." I said as he hugged me.

When it was finally time for the wedding I was in a simple white dress with a blue shaw around my shoulders.

"Ready Maria?" Noct asked as he sent me a smile.

"Born ready." I said softly.

I smiled as I saw both Aryden and Somnus standing beside each other. From what I heard they were traveling together and helping people. They bowed their head to me and I walked up to Ignis.

"Here Specs, treat her right." Noct said softly.

"You know I will." He said softly.

After the wedding was over Ignis picked me up and carried me to the car.

"Don't make children in my car!" Noct yelled.

We let out a laugh and quickly drove off. When we made it to a stop I let out a gasp. There was a giant house a few blocks away from the castle.

"I've been having this built since you disappeared." He explained.

"Why?"

"So that one day.... I could live here with you." He said softly.

I sent him a smile and leaned up and captured his lips in a kiss.

"I love you." I said softly.

"And I you." He said as he pulled me closer.
