Eric took the risk by picking up the Mascot crystal fragment, he watched as it glows brightly before enveloping him. When the glow stops, the team can see him wearing a purple costume that is themed after a  behemoth (a very hard late game enemy from the early final fantasy games). The costume has claws on both hands, the boots are modeled after the behemoths feet, the main costume body has stitches that go from the arms to down at the legs, even the costume head is modeled after a behemoth (the horns have stitches, red buttons for the eyes, even it's mouth is open with netting just so Eric can see out of it).

"Eric? Can you hear me?" Asked Laura.

"I can hear you just fine, but this costume looks rather ridiculous" he replied with a muffle.

Laura see him remove the costume head, and she can see that he is still wearing a visor. She was relieved, but deep down she was afraid that his visor would've disappeared and left him unable to see anything. She then picked up the Psion crystal fragment to try it out, and it glows to the point that it envelopes her. After the glow died down, she is no longer a black mage but is now a Psion. She now wore a lab coat, a shirt underneath, pants, a metal headgear that amplifies her psychic abilities, but her shoes are gone

"Wow, Laura. You look like a chemist" remarked Eric.

"And you look like a cute behemoth" she said giggling.

"S-Shut up!" He replied while blushing, before putting the costume head back on.

Siegfried laughed, finding that even Eric felt the same level of embarrassment as he did after acquiring the Scrubber job class. Unfortunately, Eric wasn't happy with him laughing at his predicament.

"Now you know how I felt after becoming a Scrubber!" Siegfried laughed.

"Not funny!" Hissed Eric, as he is blushing even more underneath his costume head.

The laughter died down as the team heard sounds of footsteps, they thought that another team of explorers must have arrived. They thought wrong, as they saw a blue glowing humanoid monster walking up the stairs in the crystal room. The monster appears as a blue skinned man with horns, no hair on his head, fiery blue aura is emanating from his body, and wearing underwear.

"So, you're the one's who my master wants to kill, huh?" The monster questioned as he grinned his fang filled mouth.

"Who are you?" Asked Sonya, as she felt

"The names Wendigo, I was sent here by my master to kill you and steal the crystals!" The monster replied with glee.

"Whatever it is that your master wants to do with the crystals, we will not let that happen!" Siegfried yelled as he readied his fists.

He then rushed towards Wendigo and try to punch him, but the monster caught his fist in one hand. Then ice started to grow on his fist, causing him to panic as he felt extreme cold from the aura surrounding Wendigo. He screamed in fear as the ice reached up to his arm, and started to freeze him all over his body (except his towel).

"Tsk, tsk, tsk! Shouldn't have tried to punch me, because my aura can freeze you in ice!" Scolded Wendigo, and he knocked the frozen Siegfried over on the floor.

"Siegfried!!" Screamed Sonya.

Despite changed her class to the Psion, Laura implemented her black magic ability into the Psion crystal fragment. It now allows her to use black magic even as a Psion, in which she casts fira on the monster. It did no damage to Wendigo, but his freezing aura is now gone.

"What the-!? My freezing aura!!" Roared Wendigo.

"Without your freezing aura, you are now susceptible to physical attacks now!" Eric pointed out.

The monster snarls and slashed Eric with his sharp claws, only to leave claw marks on the costume harmlessly.

Eric glared at Wendigo for damaging his costume, and retaliated by using an ability called behemoth blaster (deals moderate non elemental damage). It blasted Wendigo for moderate damage, thus knocking the monster out.

None of the team members receive exp nor job points.

Sonya hurried over to Siegfried, who is still frozen solid on the floor, with panic. She sensed that his heart isn't frozen in ice, in which she felt relieved. Laura insisted on thawing him out with the spell fire, but she doesn't want him to burn to a crisp while thawing. Luckily, Fusoya pulled out a small bottle containing suspicious liquid, and put it through Siegfrieds frozen lips. Therefore, it ran down through his throat.

"What did you put in his mouth?" Asked Sonya.

"It was hot water, it'll thaw out his throat with its heat" replied Fusoya.

Everyone heard Siegfried gasp for air, and breathing heavily through his nose. They were relieved that he is alive, if not still frozen.

"Siegfried, can you hear me?" Asked Sonya.

"Hot... water..." he croaked.

She couldn't tell if he needed more hot water, or if he is trying to use his Scrubber ability to thaw himself out. She soon got her answer as steaming water comes out from his frozen body, melting the ice that covered his body. She and the other team members watched as the ice melted from his body, thus letting him sit up. However, he felt disoriented and started to sneeze.

"Ugh... how long was I been frozen?" He asked.

"At least fifteen minutes" replied Eric.

Siegfried sneezed again, and he felt his nose being plugged up.

"Looks like someone's sick" Sonya joked.

While the team were talking, Fusoya used his magic powers to make the eight remaining crystal fragments (except the festivalist crystal fragment and the dreamer crystal fragment) float in mid air. Then he sent each crystal fragment to scatter around the area between the moon base and the Lunar tunnel, as a means of keeping them safe (but there's a possibility that the people from the moon base could find the crystal fragments and research them).
