The team walked to the exit of the bath house, and Octavius (the master of baths) bid them farewell. It was already sunset, and all four of them were hungry ever since they entered Ostia. Siegfried suggested to stay at the inn and eat dinner, in which the rest of the team agreed. They entered the inn and payed for the room upstairs, but before they went to bed, they walked into the dining room so they can eat dinner. Laura and Eric had a plate of spaghetti with meatballs, Siegfried had a plate of Ostia famous lasagna, and Sonya had a plate of chicken Alfredo. After eating dinner, they all head upstairs to sleep.

At morning

The sun rises from the west, thus sunlight pours through the window and waking Sonya up. She got off the bed and started to get ready, but noticed that Siegfried was gone. She walked downstairs and out of the inn, only to see him standing at the corner of the street.

"Oh, you're awake? I was thinking about that old woman from yesterday" said Siegfried.

"I get the feeling that she won't take the news that her son is dead any better, since it would caused her pain. I just hate to see parents break down in tears, knowing that they outlived their offspring" she said in a worried tone.

"Don't worry, I'm sure the news is already been spread. There will be mourning today, but since the corpse of Cicero is lost on the Blue moon, they're just going to do a memorial service to commemorate the loss of his life" he explained.

Sonya didn't like that, since yesterday Siegfried had pretended to be Cicero for the old lady, and now the old lady is going to mourn for the loss of her son. Then Laura and Eric come out of the inn, wondering what was going on, so she told them what Siegfried had told her. They all felt bad, but they have to steel themselves by going all the way back to the airship in order to travel to where the ruins is located. It took them over three hours to get to the steaming lake, where they landed the airship. Surprisingly, there wasn't anyone at the lake bathing. The team walked across the land bridge, and get inside the airship. Laura takes the steering wheel and pressed the button, causing the airship to lift off. Then the airship traveled northeast across the lava river where Mount Vesu is erupting, until it arrived at the ruins.

"Are you ready?" Asked Laura.

"We're ready, even though it'll be very hot when we exit this airship" Eric replied.

The airship landed near the ruins, in which the air is slightly hotter than the southern region of Onsen. The team exit the airship, and walked towards the ruins. Within the ruins, there was numerous houses that are partially buried in lava that has long since cooked off, the street is paved in bricks (in which some parts are buried in lava), and there were other buildings that were destroyed. As the team walked through the brick paved street, they came across the ruins of a temple with the insignia of the fire crystal. When they entered the temple, there was already stairs that leads underground (as though someone already came here before them). This sparks confusion within the team as they started to question themselves, nevertheless, they hurried and walked down the stairs. They discovered that it leads into a tunnel that is well lit with torches that hang on the stone walls, so they walk through the tunnel. The air gets hotter when they head deeper, until they saw a stone door that is already open.

"Did someone got here before us?" Sonya asked.

"I'm afraid so, but stick together everybody. We may never know what's beyond here" Siegfried answered.

As the team passed through the door, there was a cavern of lava. Luckily, there was a path for them to travel. They followed the path, but not until they encountered bombs (fire elemental enemies from the final fantasy games) flying through the lava stream. When the bombs blocked the path, Laura casts blizzara at them, dealing a moderate  damage. Every bomb disappeared in a puff of smoke upon defeat, but one remained. The remaining bomb was charging it's self destruct ability, so Siegfried fired an arrow that dealt moderate damage, killing it. Then everyone started to level up, along with their jobs:

Siegfried learned the heartbreak ability.

Sonya learned white magic level five.

Eric learned candle magic level three.

Laura learned black magic level five.

Afterwards, the team continued traveling through the path. They walked down the stairs leading to another floor, in which they can see another stone door. They traveled around the lake of lava and approached the stone door, there was a cool breeze coming from the cracks of the stone door. When they opened it, there was a room with an altar that emits light. Unfortunately, the fire crystal is no where to be seen.

"Did somebody stolen the fire crystal!?" Asked Siegfried in an outraged tone.

"This doesn't make any sense, who could've stolen the fire crystal" Laura wondered.

"Wait, everyone! I sensed an evil presence here" Said Eric in a fearful tone.

There was a red mist coming from the cracks of the floor, before shaping and solidifying into a humanoid shape. There stood a red skinned man with hair made of lava and wearing a cape, loincloth, and blue shoes.

"Ho ho ho ho! It was I, Fyro, the fiend of magma! I have already stolen the fire crystal, but looks like I might as well burn you all!" Announced the fiend of magma.
