(FFXV) Seer 2
Sage and Virgil had made themselves comfortable in the hotel's best room. It took a while for Sage to familiarize herself with the temporary establishment. She was used to being blind, so it was never too difficult for her to feel her way around the world, especially since Virgil was always there to help her.
It was nearly sunset when the two finally had a bite to eat. "Would you like me to look around town for the prince tomorrow?" Virgil asked.
Sage giggled. "That won't be necessary. The prince will come to us, sooner than you think."
The man smiled lightly, understanding. "Ah, I see. We'll be expecting company, then."

After picking up a few things from the market, the four men began heading back to the hotel. "I suspect the Seer will be accepting visitors starting tomorrow," Ignis said.
"But by then, the entire town'll be lined up to see her," Prompto pointed out.
"We'll probably be stuck behind dozens of others," Gladio added with a sigh.
"Or..." The boys all looked at Noctis questioningly. "Maybe we could visit tonight. I'm eager to meet this so called 'Seer'. And if we wait till tomorrow, we'll only waste time on a possible meeting."
Gladio shrugged. "Guess it couldn't hurt to go see."
"She's sure to be a busy woman," Ignis chimed in. "Best not to get your hopes up."
The four went to the Leville. They put away the supplies they bought in their room before climbing up the set of stairs that led up to the deluxe rooms. There were only a couple of expensive deluxe rooms for the wealthier visitors. But about halfway down the hall, two hunters stood guard, making sure no one tried sneaking up to see the Seer.
The prince was immediately stopped by them. "Halt," one of them commanded. "The Seer ain't seeing anyone till tomorrow."
"You can wait like everybody else," the other added.
At that moment, Virgil was coming down the hall. He was heading for the lower floor to request a few things from the bellhop, but the commotion along the way caught his attention. The prince and his friends instantly recognized the white-haired man as he approached.
"What's going on?" Virgil asked the hunters.
"Just some trespassers, sir," one of them answered. "Nothing to be concerned about."
Virgil looked to the four, his visible eye scanning over each of them carefully. He had a hunch as to who they were and boldly approached them. "By any chance, are any of you Prince Noctis?"
The boys were stunned by his question. "I am," Noctis hesitantly answered.
A faint smile tugged at Virgil's lips. "I thought so. In that case, come with me. Sage would like to meet you." He turned to face the hunters once more. "These four may pass, by order of Lady Sage."
They both nodded in understanding. Slowly, the prince's group followed behind the man. They kept quiet, not quite understanding what was going on. They soon entered the large room of the Seer. Said woman sat on one of the beds with an open book in hand. Her veil covered the majority of her face, as it always did. The group found it odd how she didn't seem to be looking at the book, and instead, had her palm placed against its pages.
"Sage, I brought the one you've been expecting," Virgil said.
Sage smiled, closing the book and setting it aside. "I've been waiting, Prince Noctis." She rose to her feet and moved closer.
"How do you know me?" the prince questioned.
She laughed lightly. "I foresaw this meeting. I am Sage Imperia, the last of the line of Seers. You've already met my bodyguard."
Virgil went to stand by Sage's side, and slightly bowed his head to them. "Virgil Altor, loyal protector of the Seer."
"And I already know each of you," Sage said. "The prince is accompanied by his shield, Gladiolus Amicitia, his chamberlain, Ignis Scientia, and of course, Prompto Argentum, his best friend."
"Is this the power of a Seer?" Ignis muttered to himself in slight amazement.
"I have much to discuss with you, Highness," Sage explained. "I've seen so many terrible futures, especially after I visited Gralea."
Gladio was still wary of trusting her. "How do we know you're not with the empire, then? You've yet to even show us your face. You hiding something under that veil?"
Virgil's expression darkened and he placed his hand over the hilt of his katana. "How dare you imply that we're on their side! Sage and I were both born in Accordo where-"
"Virgil," the woman quietly snapped. "No need to show such hostility." He eased up at her command. Sage smiled at the guests. "You wish to see my face? Very well, I shall grant your wish."
Virgil looked at her in shock. Sage reached up and carefully slipped the veil off. The boys gasped upon seeing her glazed eyes staring straight through them.
"You're... blind," Prompto stated in a hushed tone.
"In the physical sense," Sage replied. "But I do not need my eyes to see the world around me. With my ability, I see far beyond what others do."
Noctis was more than curious now. "How did you obtain this power?"
"It's a gift I was born with, passed down through my family. Ages ago, the great Draconian gifted us with the ability to see the past and future, but at the price of our eyes. Everyone in my family is born blind, I included. That is why Virgil's family has acted as our bodyguards." The boys glanced at said man, causing him to look away in embarrassment.
"You said you visited Gralea," Ignis pointed out. "Whatever for?"
Sage sighed. "I was given an audience with the emperor himself. He wanted to know whether he would win in this war. I told him he already had, but had lost the greater battle. His humanity is slipping. He will become a monster of pure darkness. It's only a matter of time."
"I really hated that place," Virgil added. "I was on edge every second spent there, especially around that chancellor."
"Ardyn," Gladio growled.
Sage shivered with fear at the mention of him. "That man... he is like no other. I could see nothing but complete darkness in his future. And delving into his past, I felt immense rage and pain." Virgil placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. She immediately placed her hand over his.
It grew silent briefly before Noctis finally spoke, "So, you said you needed to talk to me?"
The woman nodded. "Yes. I know there is much awaiting you in the future. I came to inform you of it all."
