"How is it going, Lucrecia?" A woman asked as she approached the pregnant woman to her right. She chuckled.

"I'm doing... okay. What about you? How's Nez?" She asked as Aurora sat down.

"Well, Nezuko is excited for a little brother, but..." Aurora then sat up and put her hands together. "This... Project D... Hojo thinks that it'll work along with Project S."

"It would make sense... we were injected with 'her' cells at the same time and did Hojo's same method..." Lucrecia said as she looked at her friend and fellow scientist. "Do you... ever wonder why we do this? Why we implemented these cells into our body?"

Aurora sighed. "Don't go getting second ideas... you'll only get yourself hurt."

"That easy for you to say. You're one of the top scientists." Lucrecia argued but Aurora sat back and sighed.

"...They're letting me go."

"...What..?"

"You heard me, it's apparently part of my mission. To move out to a small town in Nibelheim. Live a normal life away from what they plan to do with Project S. See if the skills remain the same if the lives are contrasted drastically." Aurora explained as Lucrecia looked in shock.

"But, you'll be loosing your job-!" "They'll pay for everything and let my family name clearance for top records in all of Shinra." Aurora interrupted her friend. "I have an old friend, Brian Lockhart, who lives there. Brian got me a house next to him. But...Mostly, I'm more concerned about you." Aurora said as she pulled out some papers. "Some reports coming in about you muttering someone in your sleep. Someone named Vincent?"

"Don't worry about it." Lucrecia immediately said as Aurora looked at her and nodded. The two sat in silence before... "These two will technically be related... won't they?"

"Yes, they both come from the same cells, but they are also our children, and they will always come first." Aurora stated as Lucrecia smiled.

"Yeah, you're right! ...When do you get sent off?" She asked.

"In about a month...So that gives us enough time..." Aurora said as they both smiled. "To say our final goodbyes."

The scene transitions to looking at Aurora's pregnant belly to showing you walking forward. The others slowly get up.

"Looks like we made it." Barret said as he looked at you all. "And with small injures to show-!" The ground shook a and everyone stumbled a bit. Barret looked at Jessie. "Think you may have overdone it?"

"I followed the instructions to the letter, maybe it triggered a reaction to the mako?" Jessie theorized as you crossed your arms.

"No, it wouldn't have caused tremors like this. It would at least would have caused a small shake in the reactor, not this." You said as everyone went silent.

"Well, let's hope the city's in one piece." Barret says as Biggs looks at him.

"But the planet's what matters, right?" He asked as the ground shook again. "I mean, this must have helped some."

"After all that, it better have. Anyway, let's get going. We in sector 8?" Jessie asked Wedge.

"That'd be just down there." Wedge said as he looked at you. You weren't really paying attention and pondering this bad feeling you were getting.

"Alright, then. Lead the way. Y/n?" Barret said as you snapped out of your daze. He smirked at you. "Can you wait a little longer till you see Tifa?"

"Huh?!" You said as everyone chuckled except Cloud who gave a small smirk. "You guys are losing it! I wasn't even thinking about that!"

"Sure, sure." Wedge said as the group started to walk forward.

"I was being serious!" You say with a small blush. Everyone walked past you with a knowing smile. That's was another reason you did this... was to catch up with Tifa... You haven't seen her in years but... last time you both saw each other...It honestly felt like you both were back in your hometown, but of course....when you returned to find out Nezuko's death. "If I find out the guy who did it... the one who murdered my town... I'll kill them."

"Y/n, stop fantasizing about Tifa and come on."

"Oh, not you too, Cloud!" You shout at him as he started walking forward. The underground seems destroyed due to all the tremors.

"Watch out for live wires, their everywhere!" Wedge said as you all squeezed through a crack to the other side.

"The air in here reeks. Can't wait to get out in the open." Briggs says as he shimmed past the crack. You and Cloud shimmy past as well and Briggs smelled the air again. "Yeah, I've never smelled anything so foul."

"Have you smelled yourself?" You say as Briggs smells himself as he walks.

"Ugh. It WAS me! I gotta do something about that, and soon." He said as Jessie smirked.

"Can we talk about Y/n?" She asked as you kept walking.

"I'd rather not." You said in denial.

"What's the deal with him and Tifa?" Jessie asked as she turned towards the boys. "Because Barret seemed to be teasing you a while ago. And he never does that...So there must be something!"

You gripped your head as flashes kept entering your mind. Cloud decided to speak up. "Ever since we were kids, these two couldn't keep their eyes off each other. They were dating for a long time until..."

"Cloud! You traitor!!" You shouted as Jessie gained a playful grin.

"Oh? So you two are together? She's mentioned being in a relationship but I only thought that was to keep the guys away." Jessie said as you thought back. Are you both still in a relationship? Tifa and you broke apart from calling and even chatting a long time ago, ever since the incident at the town. You both never called it off, but you knew that your feelings for her haven't changed. Still, guess you'll see when you meet up with her.

The ground shook again. Wedge recomposed himself. "I felt that one in my guts."

"They just keep on coming." Briggs said as everyone started to pick up the pace.

"We need to get out of this place." Barret said and you slid under the rubble.

"Was it the mako density? The primary explosive? The blasting agent?" Jessie questioned what she did wrong.

"You can worry about that later." You said and got up again.

"I'm running on empty here." Wedge said as Cloud got to the other side with all of you.

"You can refuel at the base." Barret claimed and went on ahead.

"Next time, I'll have to bring a pick me up." Wedge claimed as you opened a chest and got two potions.

"How much farther do we have to go?" Jessie asked as she started to get annoyed.

"Not much farther." Wedge replied.

"Yeah, I can smell people up ahead." You told the group and you all came to a wall. "...Why are we just standing here?"

"Get back, I'll place the bomb." Jessie said and you all backed up.

"Can't wait to see you, Marlene." Barret smirked.

"Can't wait to take a hot shower." Briggs said and you lightly chuckled.

"Good to go. Fire in the hole!!" Jessie went behind the wall and most people covered their ears... well everyone but you. The wall blew up and smoke filled the corridor.

"You sure showed them." You say and walk through.

"Let that be a lesson to anything that gets in my way." She said but you suddenly stopped after seeing the destroyed building in front of you.

"Attention all citizens. Attention all citizens. This is an alert from the Shinra Emergency Operation Center. Unidentified intruders have detonated a bomb inside Mako Reactor 1. Multiple explosions have been confirmed, as well as ongoing fires. In response, disaster warnings have been issued in sectors 1 and 8. Structures are in high risk of collapse, rendering the entire sector hazardous." The announcer said as everyone looked at the destruction.

"No, No way." Jessie said and Briggs stepped forward.

"This couldn't have been us..." He denied it. "Could it?"

"But what if it was." Wedge said as Cloud looked around.

"What's done is done." Cloud stated and Barret nodded.

"Merc's right. It's ain't pretty, but we can't stop now. This was just the first reactor. And the planet won't be safe until we get the rest." Barret tried to bring the group together, Briggs clenched his fist.

"Yeah, we always knew things were gonna get messy." Briggs said and Wedge nodded.

"And this is only the beginning."

"Y'all gotta look at the bigger picture here. Nothing worth fighting for was ever won without sacrifice." Barret said and turned around. "Though you may not be crying out, I know you in pain. Just like the planet. But it's okay, because I'm here for you. To help take the load off your shoulders. Your fears. Your worries. Your concerns. Your weakness. And yes, your fees. Whatever your problem, I got you."

"Hm. So what's out next move boss?" Briggs asked.

"That's easy enough. We get our asses home!" Barret said and everyone looked at each other. Cloud turned his head away from the others, you sighed. The others ran up the stairs and soon you followed. "We'll split up and shoot for the last train home. Regroup in the freight car, got it?"

"Later then." Wedge and the others went forward.

"Hey, I'd like my money now." Cloud demanded and you rubbed the back of your neck.

"You can have it, once we're back at the base." Barret ran off ahead and you looked at Cloud.

"Maybe they want to make sure we don't rat them out." You questioned in order to cheer up Cloud. He pondered it before tapping your shoulder.

"Hm... Alright. We should towards the train." He said and you both traveled down the stairs.

"Yo-hoo!" Jessie came out around the corners holding a green materia. "I don't need to tell you what this is right?"

"Of course not. It's healing materia." Cloud said and Jessie raised her hand.

"You can have it, for saving my life." She said with a smile.

"Technically it was me, but I'll keep that to myself." You said as Cloud shook his head.

"Just doing my job. Nothing more." Cloud was about to walk off when Jessie grabbed his hand.

"Yeah, yeah, truth is. I'm lucky you were there." She stated and Cloud pulled back his hand, to find the materia in his hand.

"Survival can be a matter of luck or skill. And you can't rely on luck." Cloud said as Jessie smiled.

"Words to live by." She said as Cloud was taken back.

"Yeah, well, thanks." He said and started to walk.

"You do know how to use it, right?" Jessie asked a stupid question as you started to chuckle.

"You do know what this guy was, right?" You smirked as she sighed.

"Yeah, whatever, Y/n. Oh before I forget, Cloud." She started to say. "Here's a little something extra for giving me the time of my life. Well, see you on the train!"

She ran away into the crowd as you sighed. You looked at your black katana before putting it away again. "Come on, let's get a move on."

You and Cloud started making your way down the street, you kept a straight look, looking past all the destruction. You saw people running around but soon heard something. "Cloud, Y/n! Look up! I said look up!"

You saw Jessie. "Carful coming up here, this thing could collapse at any moment. To get up, you'll have to those stairs."

"Fuck that." You leaped up to the second platform with ease. You then looked at Cloud who did the same, but Jessie was gone. You suddenly held your head, "GAH-!"

"Do you not remember me...?" A man's voice spoke to you. "I know you realize the truth."

"Hah, hah-!" You took deep breaths but soon the area of the bridge you were standing on breaks and you and Cloud land on the street again. "What... not again."

"You okay...?" Cloud asked and you moved on.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a slight headache." You said as you and Cloud both came across the station. "There it is!"

The bridge above collapsed and blocked the way. You looked at the fire in the building as did Cloud. Your green eyes suddenly shook as you were taken to a dark void. "Cloud...? Tifa?! ANYONE!!?"

You walked forward in the void to see a person in a tube. You felt... a bond to her. "Are you awake? Please don't be an alien that's gonna kill me."

You walked closer and closer until you saw fire ring out, it surrounded your legs and the area around you. "We are not so different, Y/n. We are more alike than you know."

You quickly turned around but got a headache again. "It's only natural you can't remember, you shoved it down to the bottom of your brain. Even then, you didn't even know about me, did you? Shinra made sure of that."

You fell on your knees as the fire grew around you. Sephiroth walked up to you and stood above you. "Although you might not know much about me, you are still a dear part of my life. And soon we will reunite, until then...I have a favor to ask of you."

"Go... to hell...!" You shouted and tried to stand up.

"This planet that we hold dear to us is dying." He said as he kicked you back. "Will you watch the world crumble, or will you actually do something this time around?"

"Enough... talking!!!" You shouted and tried to slice at him upwards only to see.."Cloud...?"

"Y/n...?" You blocked the attack form Cloud as both of you put your weapons away.

"What the hell was that? Who was that guy? He seems familiar..." You thought as you looked at the alley. "Um... we can get out through here."

"Right..." Cloud took a few deep breaths before joining you. The both of you didn't really talks after that, after all, how do explain what just happened? A man you never met is just got in your head? You and Cloud jumped from building to building and went down a fire escape to make it to the other side of some debris.

"Let's see, ah. I know the way from here. We're on Loveless street." You said as you soon saw a friendly face. "YO! AERITH!!"

You saw her waving her hands around as creatures swarmed around her, you quickly sliced the air around her and the creatures went away. Aerith then noticed you with a smile and relief. "Y/N! Thank you!"

"It's no problem, I'll take a flower for free as thanks." You saw and take a white yellow flower. You then put your sword away and looked at her. "Any chance you could tell me what those-"GHRG!!"

You heard Cloud's voice and rushed to him. He was holding his head.

"CLOUD! HEY! YOU OKAY!? HEY! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" You asked as Aerith rushed over too.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked as Cloud recovered a little.

"I'm fine. Y/n, come on." He said as you nodded.

"Alright...Sorry Aerith, we gotta go." You said and walked besides Cloud but Aerith stood in front of Cloud.

"Here, this is for you." She said and held another flower that you picked to Cloud.

"Huh, a flower?" He asked her.

"It's a gift, for scaring those things away." She said as technically it was you, but you kept quiet again.

"What things?" Cloud was confused and Aerith still smiled.

"Never mind, think of it as a memento." She said as Cloud looked at you with a grin look.

"Just my luck." He whispered and you chuckled.

"I heard that you know." She said and Cloud sighed.

"How much?" He asked and Aerith looked at the flower.

"Well, that depends on the customer." She said as you chuckled.

"I got it for free." You said as they both ignored you. "Damn, I feel like a third wheel. Happy for Cloud, awkward for me. Even more when we get back to Tifa... haaaa. I can just see her rage now..."

"In your case. Hehe, it's on the house." She said and gave it to Cloud. "Lovers used to give these when they were reunited."

"Cloud, I'm gonna stand over there." You said and walked over and closed your eyes. "Still, Tifa... I wonder who her new boyfriend is... I hope he treats her right. If not I'll... I can't, I don't have a say in it. I just hope, whoever she loves right now, is able to make her smile."

"FREEZE!!" You heard from your right and saw Cloud and Aerith still talking. Soilders were approaching you and you quickly ran ahead.

"You know you're gonna lose, right?" You smiled as they aimed their guns at you. "Hmph, your loss! First form!"

You immediately dashed forward and use your momentum to unleash a powerful slash of water and sharpened that sent the soilders flying. You smelt a guard dog crawling up behind you and leaped into the air. "2nd Form!"

You started to vertically spin forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in a circular motion, cutting the guard dog in half. You landed on the ground before you thrusted your sword into a man and kicked him away from you, only to follow up with a downward slash. The forces were knocked back as you started running down the street. "Damn, I have no time to waste! Gotta get to the train, away from Cloud and Aerith!"

You ran forward and leapt onto the roof of a building and ran across rooftops. "Man, Shinra does not make this easy, can they?"

You saw a helicopter fly out from the street. "What the hell?"

"WE HAVE YOU NOW! FIRE!!" The pilot showed and fired machine guns at you. You immediately counter attacked with a huge wave of fire that caught onto the wings. "DAMN YOU! DEPLOY THE TROOPS!"

You started to run as two more helicopters started showing up and dropping soldiers. You saw a man with a shield and smirked. "Hope you know that won't stop me, 7th form!!"

You suddenly appeared on the other side of the man as a thrust of water broke through two men barriers and they were defeated. "Should've at least put up a fight."

You continued to run and run until you found the station. "FREEZE! DON'T MOVE!!"

The helicopter started to shoot at you as you dodged all the bullets and dived down a side of the building. You stabbed the side of the building with your sword which slowed you down enough for you to remove your sword and dash into a building window. You rolled off the shattered glass and kept running through the hallway. Bullets came flying through as your quickly leaped out of the building and slid down the fire escape ladder. You landed on the ground and hid around the corner as the helicopter flew past you. "All
Right. I should be in the clear.... Man,
I really want to cuddle with Tifa... no! Stop! She probably has a new boyfriend! No! Stop! Focus on surviving! Get to the train station."

You went out of the alleyway and saw many soldiers coming your way. You hid behind a garbage bin and they ran past you. You dived out of the shadows and saw... "CLOUD!"

"Y/N!" Cloud said as you both ran towards each other when you both heard Jeeps of officers hopping out. You both readied your weapons, back to back.

"End of the line, punks!"

"I'm gonna enjoy this!"

A swat car came on the other side as Cloud and you didn't say anything. Instead, you both dashed towards your officers.  Your sword burned as bright as the sun. You ran with quick speed to evade the incoming bullets. You did high-speed twists and rotations, thus creating afterimages which the officers then shot at. You used this time to spin your body vertically to create a 360° slash, which sliced through the shields and knocked down the officers. One of the officers tried to hit you with a baton but you counter attacked and knocked them down with a water dragon. You saw more forces coming and your blade tuned into water dragon. You did a continuous flowing attack and sliced each officer and increased your strength and power with each rotation. "Tough shit."

All the officers were on the ground as you and Cloud were back to back again. "H.Q, this is Sector 8. We have the targets surrounded. Moving to secure!"

"Wait! I know that sword!" A officer said as you smelt oil.

"Cloud, it's time!" You shouted and hopped on the train with Cloud and escaped. Wedge and the others were sitting in the back of the train.

"I guess Cloud and Y/n won't be joining us after all." Wedge said as Briggs looked at him.

"No need to assume the worst. I'm sure they're fine. You've seen them in action, haven't you? Cloud's a soldier. A goddamn one man army. And Y/n's even more powerful than a goddamn Soldier." Briggs said as Jessie looked at them.

"You think Cloud's a keeper?" Jessie asked as she then saw everyone's faces. "Well, I don't want to be the one to tell Tifa that she's not meeting up with her boyfriend..."

A knock was heard on the doors. Everyone got in position. "On my go."

Barret opened the door and you and Cloud went flying in. "And I stuck the landing."

"Here you are. You had me worried." Barret said as everyone but Cloud looked at him in shock. Barret then realized what he did. "What the hell you've been up to?! Huh?!"

"Giving public security the run around. That's what. We had to draw them away from the station somehow." Cloud said as you rubbed the back of your head.

"Yeah, I just got lost a bit. Hehehe." You said as Jessie sighed.

"You're lucky you're here. Tifa would've probably hunted you down from the grave." She said and you smiled and closed the doors.

"Wait, I got a question for you all." Cloud said as everyone looked at him.

"You've ever been attacked by an invisible enemy?"  He said something that made you remember the run in with Aerith.

"What?" The group said as you nodded.

"Yeah! I remember! They were wearing robes and moved in the wind." You explained as Briggs looked at you weird.

"You thought they were invisible?"

"They were, until I honed in my senses and they ran off." You explained as Jessie seemed concerned.

"A new Shinra weapon maybe?" She said as Barret chuckled.

"More like a panic induced hallucination." He said as Cloud scoffed and turned away.

"Whatever, don't gotta believe us." Cloud said and Barret started to walk away.

"Suit yourself, come on, let's move up." He said as everyone followed.

"Lot of people here." Wedge said nervously.

"And I'm the freight car too. Must have been the evacuation order to fit everyone on." You explained as Barret kelp walking.

"Head for the front of the train and wait there." He said as you decided to wait at the front and take a nap. 

"Long day..." You said and laid down on the seats. "Just want it to be over..."

Soon the trained stoped and you woke up.  You walked out of the train to see everyone going there separate ways. "Uh...did you guys forget to wake me?"

"No, Cloud was going to eventually." Barret said and looked at you. "Y/n, I'll see you later. You know where to go right, The Seventh Heaven, where Tifa works. Don't keep her waiting."

You saw those robed figures around you and the ran away. You followed everyone until you eventually made it to the bar. You and Cloud walked up to it and saw the two girls. Tifa gasped and looked at Barret. She tapped the little girl next to her. "Marlene look."

"Daddy, you're home!" She said as Barret picked her up.

"That's right, Angel! I am! Have you been a good girl?" Barret said and walked into the bar. Cloud walked in past him as you and Tifa made eye contact. She smiled at you and walked towards you.

"Tifa... I don't have enough words to apologize for leaving the Village without a word... it was wrong of me to leave you when you needed me most." You bowed and she took your hand and pulled you towards the bar.

"You know, I am really mad. I'm supposed to be lashing out at you, for not depending on me like you used to. But once I saw you, I am just filled with happiness." She said as you blushed. She giggled and looked at your flower on your shoulder. "We'd you find that? I can't remember the last time I saw a real one."

"Here." You gave it to her as Tifa was taken off a bit and blushed.

"How sweet. I keep forgetting you're a charmer." She said as you saw Barret putting Marlene to bed as Tifa went over the counter. "Cloud, it's good to see you again."

"Likewise." He said as Tifa smiled.

"So, what can I get you two?" She asked and guess what Cloud said.

"My money." He said and looked at her. "Well, our money, we haven't gotten it yet."

"Right." Tifa said and went around the corner. She whispered in your ear. "About that. We should talk outside."

You and Cloud walked outside with her and she looked at you both. "Before we get onto money. There's an empty apartment in a place just down the road. It's nothing fancy but... I was think you both could stay there for now. The landlady is a big help of the cause. So you could stay there without paying rent. Sounds nice?"

"Yeah, it sounds like Heaven actually." You said and she chuckled.

"Follow me then." She said as you all started walking. "So how was the plate?"

"It was...Chaotic." Cloud said and Tifa sighed.

"Sorry for dragging you both into this, it was wrong of me to put you both in danger like that. I promise I won't do it again." Tifa said and you looked around at the area.

"Danger is part of the job, Tifa. You shouldn't have to worry about me." You said as Tifa looked at you with a hint of...sadness?

"I'll try not to. But I'm sure it's impossible." She whispered the last part.

"I'm always happy to stick it to Shinra." Cloud said and Tifa looked at him.

"You make nice with everyone?" She asked and he shrugged.

"Best that I could with all things considered. Maybe not enough to them." Cloud explained as you saw the apartments up ahead.

"Good. You had me worried, you're not exactly a people person." Tifa said and then looked at you. "I saw sector 8 on the news. It was like a war zone."

"The news is controlled by Shinra. Shinra will spread as many lies they can to get peoples trust." You said and walked to her.

"So it wasn't that bad?" Tifa asked and you shook your head.

"It was." You said and you couldn't help but look at Tifa's ass as she walked up the stairs. You blushed and looked away, as Tifa looked at you of the corner of her eye in confusion.

"Here we are. Good old Star Gazer Heights. You both are on the second floor." Tifa explained as Cloud went ahead of you. "Room 201 here is where I sleep. Don't have much time with Seventh Heaven and all. Not even time to decorate. Here's your room, 202. Don't worry, I already told the Landlady about you two."

"You did...?" Cloud asked as Tifa was confused.

"Oh, was I? Ohh, well I told her that I had some friends that needed a place to stay. Was that too much?" Tifa asked and Cloud shook his head.

"No, it's fine." He said and looked at the other room. "And this?"

"That one's...uh...Know what? It's getting late. I'll introduce you tomorrow." She said as Cloud and you went into the room and Tifa closed the door behind you. "It's a little bare, but it should get you both through the night. If you want anything else can-"

"There is one thing. Our money, you guys owe us 2000 Gil remember?" Cloud said as Tifa put her head down and walked towards you.

"I do, and we'd love to settle up since this was your guys first job for us. But..." She grabbed your hand and put 500 gil into it. You suddenly understood.

"That's it?" Cloud asked.

"I got it, now." You said as Tifa looked down. "They spent most of the money they owe us on the mission..." You put the coins in Cloud's hands. "There is no more."

"But not for long!" Tifa said holding her hands together. "I'm collecting money for filters tomorrow so I can pay you both after."

"Sigh, and you're sure about that?" Cloud asked and Tifa nodded.

"Sure as long as Y/n helps." Tifa said and then... "Wait and then I'd have to pay you for that too. Never mind."

"No, 2000 is fine. That's was the deal." You said with a smile at her. Cloud pushed you and Tifa out. "Hey! Cloud?! What's the matter-?!"

"This room won't fit both of us. Find somewhere else." He said and locked the door. You sighed and leaned on the door.

"So... what's you're plan now...?" Tifa asked a little embarrassed. You sighed and slid down the door with your back to the door.

"Just sleep here until morning." You said and closed your eyes. Tifa seemed shocked. "Is that fine with you?"

"No. It's not." She said and picked you up.  You immediately blushed and she opened her room. "Hehe, it seems like I can still pick you up."

"T-T-Tifa?! What?!" She put you on the bed with your blushing face before she closed the door and locked it. You quickly got up the bed when you saw Tifa shaking. "Tifa..? What's wrong...?"

"I was scared, you know." She said and you immediately knew what she was talking about. "After the attack on the village, people thought you were gone forever. I almost believed it too, but then I remembered our past and I knew, one day you'd come back to me. You're just that kind of guy, that's why I love you."

"Tifa, I don't think I should be here. Your boyfriend probably won't like me in here with you at this time of night." You said as Tifa suddenly turned around to look at you with a confused look.

"Boyfriend...? Wait, Y/n, do you think...?" Tifa then started laughing and you blushed in confusion. "Hahahaha, Do you think I dumped you?"

"D-Didn't you?" You asked as she shook her head still laughing.

"No! I knew you'd come back to me, we both went our separate ways for a while but it's like..." She then pulled you to the bed and you sat down next to her. "When you went off with Cloud to Shinra, we were still together, weren't we?"

"Yes..." You said a bit nervous and she just leaned on your shoulder.

"And that was just like now. I still love you, Y/n." Tifa then looked at your face. "Do you... love me?"

"Very much." You put your hands on your face. "I tried to by happy for you if you had a new boyfriend, and I would've understood. I tried to deny it on the way here, but I really wanted to hug you and be with you again."

"Then let's do that then." She said and hugged you, you were taken aback a bit but slowly hugged her. Her softness and warm body, it was a change to your cold one. "I missed this..."

"I did too." You said but then Tifa looked at your back.

"Can... I check on it? When's the last time you've used it?" She asked you and you nodded.

"I haven't until 5 years ago." You said as Tifa pouted at you.

"Y/n, you know you're not supposed to keep it in that long. You're-" "Supposed to use it once in a while, I know." You said as you stood up and a black wing appeared on your right shoulder. "So? How does it look?"

"Still as beautiful and mysterious as ever." She said with a smile and you blushed. You retracted your wing and laid in the bed. "You figured it out?"

"Yeah, if you wanted me to sleep here instead of the floor you could've said so." You said and she turned off the lamp.

"I liked my way more." She giggled and held you in her arms as you pulled up the blankets.

"I still can't believe you thought I was dating someone else."

"I get it."

"I mean, we've been dating for years now, am I really that unfaithful?"

"No, you're just very beautiful and too good for me." You said and she kissed your chest and snuggled in your arms. "I really want to kiss her... but it's been 5 years, what if my breath stinks, what if she doesn't want to? I shouldn't rush anything, I should just wait."

"I know. But you're perfect for me." She said and you felt yourself drifting asleep. "I really want to kiss him... but it's been 5 years, I don't want to seem needy or to rush anything. I'll just wait."
