It was Saturday, and the meeting was getting closer. Each club member was gradually approaching practice, but not before showing their faces in the Great Hall to not arouse suspicion.

"Hurry up, Weasley," Blaise laughed at Draco.

"Shut your mouth, Blaise! Get my hair back to normal!" Draco pulled the hood of his robe over his head.

"Leave the red-haired man alone," Y/N joined him laughing at Draco.

"YS/N, don't make me..." Draco threatened, looking at him.

"What are you going to do? Crying in front of my godparents?" Y/N laughed a little louder.

As they arrived, they began to think about how much they needed the room. The door began to appear, giving full access to the Slytherins. They walked in and saw a few small groups; among them was the golden trio along with the Weasleys and their friends. Y/N noticed that the brunette with bushy hair was sitting reading a book and then decided to join the conversation, one of the Weasley twins had told a joke, her face wasn't the best, but she ended up laughing.

"This is ridiculous," Draco rolled his eyes as he shook his head.

"We can't be with those people," Pansy spat.

The doors opened, revealing the Headboy and Headgirl along with some students. They were silenced by their presence, signaling that class was about to begin. Anthony ordered everyone to line up so that they could face a target. First up was Neville; he tried the disarming spell, but that caused the wand to shoot backward, causing those in the back to the duck.

"I suck..." he spoke in a low, embarrassed tone.

"Don't say that; you're just overthinking," Anthony told him, "try to concentrate on the target," he pointed his wand at the target and cast the name of the spell in his mind. He waved his wand so Neville could see, and Anthony disarmed the target.

Moments after going over everyone. Lucrecia took the fifth-year group, Anthony went with the sixth years, and Carla went with the seventh years. The room was quite large, to the point that Anthony divided into pairs to practice.

After several hours, it was eleven o'clock at night, and as the instructors expected, there was some progress. Even without being able to believe it, they had some fun practicing. Neville had improved a bit because Anthony wouldn't let him give up at any time.

"You did a great job," Carla spoke next to Anthony and Lucrecia. "Pay attention to your coin for the next reunion."

Slowly they left the Room of Requirements; a great advantage was walking with the two Heads. So if they were discovered, they wouldn't say anything about it.

"You've got your normal hair now; the fun is ruined," Blaise commented.

"It was Granger..." Malfoy found it hard to accept and brushed his hair back.

"She did a good job," said Blaise being sincere looking at him as he saw that Hermione fixed his hair; he had it much better than before.

"She did the same thing with me..." Pansy confessed, looking away.

"You look good," Goyle commented, looking at the result, and Crabbe nodded.

"In the end, we won't be friends; I only accepted the favor," Draco defended himself.

While walking, they had met three Slytherin students who were roaming the corridors of that floor.

"What are you doing here?" Anthony asked, looking at them.

"That's the question. You shouldn't be here."

"In case you didn't know Nicholas, we are with the Heads," Lucrecia said.

"We are from the Inquisitorial Squad, which means we have more power than the prefects. Punishing those who don't follow the educational decrees," answered Nicholas, showing his silver badge with an "I" on it.

"Isn't that the one that you broke his nose?" whispered Blaise to Y/N and, he nodded.

"We were not aware of any such information about that power," Carla jumped into the conversation.

"Relax, L/N, we'll just take points off everyone but not for Slytherin," laughed Marcus Flint, ready to use all his power.

"They were with me, and if you take points from them, you'll also have to take points from Slytherin, "they crossed their arms for a moment. "Besides, they were coming out of detention, and they all went straight to their dormitories," Carla lied, making part of the inquisitorial brigade believe the excuse.

"In that case, out of our sight." Nicholas snorted low in his throat.

Quickly each member of each house went to their common. The Slytherin's wandered into the dungeons, chatting about what is going on lately.

"Two schools are going to be here," Y/N said. "What Dumbledore is planning?"

"I don't know, the only thing I know is the arrival of the Minister of Magic. I hope he can see what the High Inquisitor is doing to the students, but Umbridge will cover up everything" Carla looked at the table.

"Why the Minister of Magic is coming?" Blaise asked, sitting down and attending to the plan.

"Maybe an agreement with Dumbledore or something about the arrival of the two schools," Carla tried to think of a valid answer.

They thought for a long moment until they finally decided to figure it out later. Y/N decided to take a shower after an afternoon of practice; while he was showering, he heard a voice, a hissing sound. He looked around, and there was no one there. Y/N thought it was just tiredness from so much practice.

He lay down in his bed to continue the book that Hermione gave him.

It was surprising.

He finished the book.

The Defense Against The Dark Arts classes in the Room of Requirements were still going on. The students learned much more than what they were taking. Even the fifth years were learning non-verbal spells. Neville was getting better every day; he even managed to disarm Anthony with great success.

The Slytherin students became a bit tolerant. A five-minute conversation was the most they would have with those in the group. Blaise at least talked with the twins; they told him about the joke store that was about to open next year. From the lips of a Slytherin didn't come an insult to the muggle-borns. Or any mockery, and this was because they were bound not to. The others talked to the Slytherins, and they realized they were not as bad as they appeared. When a test or homework came up, they would refrain because of their pride in trusting themselves not to ask Hermione. Eventually, they left a bit of pride behind and asked her, with embarrassment.

At first, Hermione had a confused look on her face as she witnessed a student with a green and silver tie approach her for help, then she became normal and gladly helped them. Draco refrained from the idea of approaching her. Sometimes Y/N was with the ones who played quidditch along with Riley and Leo, sharing opinions about championship plays and iconic moments that happened throughout history.

Pansy chatted with the girls about some beauty tips, even offering to show off her clothes that were in her briefcase. Lavender didn't hesitate to get excited about the idea of proposing a girls' night out; it was just a matter of finding a common room to have a reunion. Pansy was at first denial at joining them and thought it was a bad idea, then decided to reconsider it. Crabbe and Goyle were a bit friendlier if they talked to them about food; they spoke to Kieran, Axel, Nick, and Samuel about some of the Three Broomstick drinks.

"Why are they getting dressed up?" asked Anael, seeing Blaise and Y/N from the past putting on some formal clothes.

"That day, there was the Slugclub dinner, the only club Umbridge didn't dismiss," Y/N replied, looking at him as well; Anael nodded and decided to keep silent to witness and attend the memory.

Y/N wore a black turtle neck sweater with black pants and elegant shoes. A black jacket not missing on his left lapel the silver snake brooch, while Blaise had a black suit without a tie, leaving his three buttons loose.

"We have to go now," said Blaise trying to hurry up Y/N.

"Wait, I need to put on some cologne," he replied, grabbing the cologne and smearing it on specific areas.

"That cologne..." Draco said.

"You know it," Y/N winked.

"Even Draco would fall for you," Blaise teased.

"Directly to the friendzone, sorry," Y/N said.

"You offend me," Draco said with his mouth open and one hand on his chest.

"It's not that you're ugly. It's just that I wouldn't hang out with you because you're like my brother," Y/N replied.

"It's not that you're ugly, Malfoy. It's that Astoria is in the way," corrected Blaise laughing.

"Astoria..." Goyle lay down thinking about her.

"Hey! Don't think about other people's women," Blaise exclaimed, throwing a pillow at him.

"Eyes were made to look!" Goyle threw the pillow back, and Blaise dodged it.

"Anyway, I don't think I'll be hanging out with her," Y/N said, leaving the cologne on his bedside table.

"Are you kidding me? Your parents and everyone expect you to be with her," said Draco.

"I like women more mature," Y/N said.

"Like?" Draco asked.

"I know, like Umbridge," Blaise joked.

The whole dormitory made a disgusted face. They would prefer to be with a dementor rather than with Umbridge. Just imagining it made their stomachs unsettled.

"Before we go. What are you reading?" Blaise asked, snatching a book from Draco and began to read.

"Hey! Give it back!" he starts to chase him around the bedroom.

"What the hell are Nargles?" Blaise asked.

Y/N shrugged his shoulders, and Blaise tossed him back the rare book that Malfoy possessed. He caught it as if his life depended on it and leaned back to continue reading. Blaise and Y/N realized they were a little late and decided to hurry to Slughorn's second office on the sixth floor for dinner.

When they arrived; Neville, Hermione, and Harry were present; they were seated together at the table. Professor Slughorn greeted them and offered them to take a seat at the round table. Y/N sat between Blaise and Marcus Belby. Across from him, he could see Hermione, and it was easier for their gazes to meet throughout the dinner. The dinner took its course where Slughorn asked each member what their relatives were doing. Y/N listened but could not overlook that Cormac McLaggen kept looking at Hermione throughout the dinner in a contemptuous manner.

"So Cormac, tell us about what your uncle Tiberius is doing these days," Slughorn asked, giving Hermione a break indirectly because he felt his intense stares were erasing her existence.

"Of course, sir, we have in mind to go hunting in these next holidays," Cormac answered.

"Tell him I wish him the best in the world," Slughorn told him. "What about you, Belby? In case you don't know, Marcus's uncle invented the wolfsbane potion," he informed. "Is he working on something new?" he asked, and everyone could see that he was devouring his dessert quickly.

"I have no idea," he answered with her mouth full, "He and my father don't speak to each other. My father says the subject of potions is a waste of time," he ate, and they couldn't understand a word he was saying.

"Nice Belby. What about you, Miss Granger?" Slughorn called her attention, "What exactly does your family do in the Muggle world?" he asked, and the table ate as they waited for her answer.

"My parents are dentists," she answered; looks of confusion were present.

"The fuck is that? Sounds cool," Blaise whispers to Y/N.

She quickly realized that she needed to explain the profession because of the different worlds. "They attend people's teeth," she clarified, and little by little, the looks changed.

"Fascinating!" exclaimed Slughorn with surprise. "And is that considered a dangerous profession?" he asked curiously.

"No..." She answered with a bit of embarrassment at the stares, "Although a boy named Robbie Fenwick bit my father once. He needed ten stitches," she laughed, and no one joined her because they were confused.

At least Harry understood the reference to living in the Muggle world and laughed. Blaise chuckled at the anecdote, and along with Y/N, who had a sideways smile, they learned something of the Muggle world. The door had opened, revealing Ginny, who entered a little tearfully with Carla.

"Oh, Miss Weasley, Miss L/N," Slughorn greeted.

"We are very sorry; we are not used to being late," Carla excused, and at that moment, Blaise dropped his spoon from the table, arriving next to Ginny's shoes, catching everyone's attention.

Blaise got up from his chair to pick up his spoon; the redhead picked it up, they made contact, and he was static.

"Here you go."

"Um... thanks for giving me the fork, I mean spoon."

There was an awkward silence, and Y/N just wanted to laugh in Blaise's face at that moment.

"Welcome, ladies, and don't worry, Zabini, there are more clean spoons," Slughorn said.

After seconds of awkwardness, Ginny took a seat. Hermione whispered something to Harry, and he made a gesture of denial. Y/N noticed Cormac looking at Hermione, and she made contact with him. He put his little finger to his mouth as he watched her, and clearly, she didn't know where to place her gaze, knowing that his McLaggen's eyes were on her.

Y/N groaned internally, causing his appetite to leave, glaring at the big guy and inwardly feeling dark energy unfold. A voice told him a million ways to hurt him; deciding how to do it was the most challenging part because there were so many scenarios.

"Are you okay?" Blaise asked him and his thoughts ceased as he looked at his friend.

"Yeah..." He blinked rapidly with confusion, "Just daydreaming," downplayed it.

Blaise wasn't convinced but still decided to believe him. The dinner ended and, Slughorn announced that there would be a party at Christmas. He implied that they should not forget it because essential guests would be attending that day.

As they left Slughorn's large office, they all headed for their common rooms. Y/N talked with Blaise about unimportant things, and when they were about to reach the common room, they quickly hid when they saw that Draco gone out; he looked to both sides, checking that there was no one there.

"Where is the blondie going?" Blaise whispered as he watched Draco leave.

"I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it if it's to meet a girl, I'd understand perfectly," he laughed softly as he imagined the idea.

"I'll mock him tomorrow," he said, and Y/N denied.

"Let's let him rest, at least on this subject, until he tells us," he watched as he disappeared into the darkness.

"Since when do you rest to mock Draco?" Blaise asked.

"Never, but this calls for it," he clarified, and they took a firm step to enter the common room.

The next day, after Herbology was Charms, they perfected the Aguamenti spell and tried to cast it non-verbally. The group, having the hidden defense classes, had been very successful in mastering non-verbal spells. Professor Flitwick was very impressed with the class, so much so that he did not send homework.

The halls were crowded from the change of classes. Y/N was with his friends heading out, laughing at the inside jokes they were privy to. They casually bumped into each other by the library entrance, and Nicholas himself could be heard along with his friends teasing Hermione, calling her a mudblood, and other derogatory comments.

"Don't you have another insult, Mullet?" She rolled her eyes.

"Oh look, the mudblood dares to talk back to us," he laughed loudly, and his friends joined him in laughter. "25 points off Gryffindor," he subtracted those points as if she couldn't make them up in class, which she would do in less than a day and more than 25 points." Oh, L/N and company, are you joining in the fun?" he asked, approaching to Hermione, invading her personal space as he pointed his wand at her neck.

Courageously she tried to break free, but Nicholas' friends held her back to immobilize her movements. They took her wand by force, confiscating it; she was helpless.

"This is going to be fun," Nicholas laughed, but his smile faded when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Out of the corner of his eye, he looked at who it was, and it was Y/N.

"I suggest you step aside immediately, Y/N seriously told him, his words made her skin crawl, and her nerves began to show. The brunette could look at Y/N. "You don't want me to make your life miserable until the last day of your life," he lowered his wand and ordered his friends to release the brunette.

Y/N slammed Nicholas into the wall roughly, and those witnessing the scene swore they heard Nicholas himself hit the wall. Scared of what could happen to him Y/N had whispered some words that only he could listen to, and everyone who was there looking at Nicholas deduced that it was not good what they were telling him.

Someone caught his attention, clearing his throat with a squeak, and Y/N looked sideways at who it was. After seeing pink shoes, she knew who it was.

"L/N, I suggest you let that student go, and you already got a free punishment because you're disrespecting a member of the inquisitorial squad," he heard her shrill voice ringing in her ears.

"We were just having fun," Y/N answered. "Right?" he asked, and Nicholas nodded quickly.

"I don't see the fun in this situation," she spoke with some distaste, "to my office before dinner," she said thoughtfully, and Y/N rolled his eyes and let go of Nicholas; he turned to go to his office.

Y/N looked at his friends and then at Hermione. They worried about their faces because the punishments were much worse than before. He nodded to them to let them know he would be okay, but that wasn't enough..
