Here I am alone again. Not that I mind, as my bird son is here, but I really need to talk to Tom. I pull out a book and start reading it aloud, being bored but it also helps get the bird involved in your life.

"(Y/n). Can I come in?" I hear Tom sat after a couple knocks on the door.

"Yeah. the door is unlocked." I call back.  I hear the door open and shut.

"Hi." He says sitting on my couch.  I put the book down and pet Peter.

"Hi Tom.  How was filming?" I ask, watching my bird make is way to Tom.

"It was good." He smiles.

"That's good." We look at each other before awkwardly looking away.

"Tom what is our relationship?" I ask quietly.  I see him smirk a bit in the corner of my eye.

"It's whatever we decide."

"I know but what is it actually? Are we together or not?"

"I want to be with you."

"Me too." I smile gently at him.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.

"Yes, But don't go announcing it to everyone until we know we can work."

"Ok." He gives me a kiss.
