Millie's pov

It's Friday, and the week has gone by pretty fast. Finn and I haven't really talked since the bathroom situation, and I don't really know what to say to him. There's this awkward tension between us...like we don't know what to say to each other and it's just so awkward.

"So we are going to the movies at 8:00, don't forget guys!!" Sadie said, and we all nodded our heads, and continued to eat lunch. Sadie always wants to do something, she's the most talkative in the group. I don't mind though, if it means I don't have to talk much. Im a closed book, I barely open up to people, Sadie is the one who knows me most, but I still don't tell her a lot of things. I grab my phone and go on Instagram and look at pictures, to prevent some of the awkwardness by Finn sitting next to me. The bell rang for the next class, and I hurried and got to my next class. Sadie wants to see the conjuring, so we are going to see that. I have absolutely no idea what it's about, if it's horror, comedy, or romance, I have no clue.

"8 tickets please." Caleb said, paying for us all with the money we gave him for each of our tickets. We got our tickets and walked into the theater, and of course, the row went like this: Noah, Grace, Maddie, Gaten, Sadie, Caleb, Me, then Finn. I really need to talk to Finn, it's been so weird between us ever since I said that he kisses good. Everyone was on their phones during the commercials, but I shut mine off and put it away. I rested my elbow on the armrest and put my head in my hand, and I closed my eyes. I'm so tired, I could fall asleep right next to a turned on tractor. I kept my position like that for a while but then all of a sudden I heard a huge boom from the screen and I jumped. Finn saw me and laughed at me.

"The movie hasn't even started." Finn said, laughing.

"Wait, this is a horror movie?" I said, a confused look on my face.

"Yeah, they didn't tell you?" Finn said.

"No!! What the heck??" I said, resting my arm on my leg.

"Don't worry, I'll be here." He said, and I smiled at him, and looked back at the screen. He's so cute. I stared at him, and his hair is it's normal curly self. The screen lighting clearly shows his freckles, and his eyes were on the screen. He was wearing a white shirt and a black zip up hoodie, but it wasn't zipped up. He was wearing black joggers along with it. Even though I can only see half of his face, he is so hot. How is he single? He probably doesn't even like me, but I can still look at him. He put his hand in his hair and pushed it back a little, and I smiled. He set his hand back down on the arm rest and he started tapping it and his leg was tapping on the ground. He then looked at me and we locked eyes.

"Are you staring at me?" He asked, smiling.

"No, that would be creepy." I said, smiling back at him.

"Yeah, totally creepy." Finn said, and looked back at the screen smiling. The movie was about to start.

Not even halfway through the movie, I was already scared out of my mind. Both Finn and Is hand were on the armrest, but at jumpscares I would always flinch and accidentally hit his arm. The seats in this theater are weird, they aren't really seats, it's like a huge bench, but it's made of cushion, and there are big armrests which you can put up or keep down. After one of the scariest jumpscares so far I've had enough, and put the armrest up and scooted over and sat right next to Finn, and linked my arm with his. He looked at me, smiling, and I just smiled and rolled my eyes. I hate this movie, it's so scary, even though no jumpscares are coming, I know scary parts are coming up, so I get tense. I got tense at one part because the music stopped, and of course when the music stops something always happens. I felt Finn lace his fingers with mine when our arms were still linked together. We didn't look at each other, we still looked at the screen, like Finn didn't even realize he did it. I leaned my head on his shoulder, and I felt myself getting goosebumps. I should of brought a jacket, it's cold in here. I got the chills for a second and Finn noticed. He unlaced our fingers and unlinked our arms and took off his jacket. He handed it to me.

"You're gonna freeze in here, keep it." I said, but he refused, and I finally took it and put it on and zipped it up. It smells like him. We linked our arms back together and laced our fingers back together. We looked over to everyone else, and they were all just making out. We looked back at each other, not surprised. I looked back to the movie and continued to watch it.

Overall, scariest movie I've ever seen ever.

The end wasn't scary, so when my head was on Finns shoulder, I closed my eyes for a bit.

"Millie??" Finn said. I slowly opened my eyes.

"The movie is over." He said, and I started to realize what was happening. I think I fell asleep for about a minute. I unlaced our hands and unlinked our arms and we walked out of the theater, and everyone else was in a circle, waiting for us. We walked out and everyone turned to us.

"Finally, what took you so long?" Gaten said, and everyone stared at me.

"Omg your wearing Finns sweatshirt!! AWWWWWW" the girls all awwed.

"Guys shut up, it was cold." I said, grabbing my phone and turning it on, seeing I have a lot of notifications from my mom. Just a bunch of texts like "when is the movie over?" "When will you be home?" "Answer please!!" I texted her back, then I put my phone in my pocket. We all walked and got into the car, and I sat in the middle of Gaten and Finn. Finns sweatshirt was a little bit on me, so I put the sleeves over my hands, because my hands were cold. The time was about 10:00. We were all just gonna go sleep over at Sadie's, good thing I brought my glasses with me. I rested my head on Finns shoulder, and closed my eyes. Caleb was driving and Sadie was blasting music, I don't even know what she was playing, I think it was "What about us" from Pink. I love this song.

I was taking out my contacts when Sadie walked into the bathroom.

"So, how was the movie with Finn?" Sadie asked.

"You were there too. And thanks for telling me it was a horror movie, I'm too scared to do anything alone now." I said, and Sadie laughed. I changed my leggings to Sadie's shorts, because we wear the same size. I kept Finns sweatshirt on though, it was comfortable, and it smelled like him. I walked out with my glasses on, and saw everyone in the living room getting ready for bed. Gaten and Maddie were on the couch, Noah and Grace were on blankets on the ground, Caleb and Sadie were on the couch across from Gaten and maddie, and I was assuming Finn and I would have to share the pull out bed couch in the middle, because the girls and the guys apparently don't sleep separate anymore. Finn was already laying down under the covers on his phone. I laid down next to him and got under the blankets, and he turned his phone off and looked at me. Or he was looking at my glasses.

"If you like my glasses so much, here you go." I said, taking my glasses off and giving them to him. He put them on and I laughed really hard. He looked so funny but cute at the same time. He gave them back to me, touching the bottom of my hand when he gave them back. I put them on the little table next to the bed and Sadie turned of the lights. It was pitch dark now. I turned my back against Finn, so he couldn't see my face. I tried to fall asleep, but couldn't for some reason. I turned onto my back, and couldn't sleep like that either. Everyone was already asleep. I look over at Finn and he was laying on his back, straight. I scoot over to him and pick up his arm and put it around me, and I laid my head on his chest, and put my arm around his torso. His arm was wrapped around me because I moved it like that.

"Goodnight, Finn." I whispered very quietly, but he was asleep anyway.

"Goodnight, Millie." Finn whispered back, and I was shocked he was still up. I smiled, and drifted off to sleep in Finns arms.
