Okay.
Y'ALL
IM BACK
Millie's pov
It's been a few days, and Finn was already out of the hospital, at home. They closed the school for the week because of the shooting, we go back on Monday. It's Saturday.
I'm sitting on my bed, thinking of what to do. Do I call Finn? Does he even want to talk to me?
I don't know.
It's currently 9:30 pm.
Finn is better, but he still can't run or use too much effort, because of his stomach.
After an hour, I finally decide to text him.
Hey Finn, how are you doing?
No. That's stupid.
Finn, thank you for taking a bullet for me.
No, that's also stupid.
Finn, can we talk? When are you free?
I sent that one, and shut off my phone, not expecting a response. But I got one in under a minute.
Yeah. You can come over, I can't really leave my house until Monday.
I got up and looked in the mirror. I was wearing a hoodie and leggings. Good enough.
I got into my car and drove to his house, and knocked on the door, to reveal Nick.
"Hey, Finn invited me over. Is it okay if I'm here?" I asked him.
"Yeah, come in. He's in his room." Nick said, and I gave him a smile and headed upstairs.
I walked into his room, and he was sitting up against his bed, and had earbuds in.
He looked up to me and saw me, and took them out, while I turned around and closed the door.
The last thing he said to me was to kiss him.
I walked over and sat at the edge of his bed, criss-crossing my legs.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." He said, and I looked at his stomach. He was wearing a flannel, but it was unbuttoned.
He had a bandage around his bullet wound, and it wrapped around his stomach.
Probably why is flannel is unbuttoned.
"I wanted to say thank you." I said, and I met his eyes with mine.
"Millie-
"Let me continue. I feel really guilty for letting you get shot instead of me. You shouldn't have, I should've. But I just wanted to say thank you." I said, and he looked down at my hands.
"Millie, don't feel guilty. I did that for a reason." He said, and I nodded.
There was silence for a couple seconds, until I broke it.
"Does it hurt?" I asked him.
"What?" He said.
"Your stomach." I said, and he looked down at it.
"Only when I use it a lot, like when I run, or breathe really fast." He said, and I nodded.
"They don't want me driving for another week, too." He said.
"I can take you to school, if you want." I said.
"Okay." He said, and looked into my eyes.
"Okay." I said back, and did a small smile. We kept eye contact for a while, until I broke it and stood up.
"Well, I should get going, it's 10:00." I said, and he got up too.
"I'll walk you out." He said, and smiled.
I walked down the stairs, Finn following. We reached the front door, and I turned around, to see him close to me. I looked up to him, and he looked down to me, and I smiled.
"Bye, then." I said.
"Bye." He said, moving out of the way for me to open the door.
And I left.
-
I woke up the next morning, realizing it was Sunday.
I stayed in my pajamas, because I'm not going anywhere. I walked downstairs and had some waffles, and then went into the living room.
I turned on the news and they were still talking about the shooting. I switched it to greys anatomy, and turned my phone on.
-
I heard a knock on my door, so I got up and answered it. It was Sadie, Maddie, and Grace.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"You posted a picture of you watching greys anatomy on your snapchat story. You can't rewatch greys anatomy WITHOUT us!!!" Sadie said, and they ran inside and went onto the couches. I laughed and shut the door, and walked back over there.
"Before we start it, Millie, Caleb told me you went to Finns yesterday." Sadie said.
"Yeah." I said.
"Do you still like him?" Grace asked me.
"I don't know, I'm trying not to." I said.
"Do you want to like him?" Maddie asked, and I looked down at my legs.
"I don't know. I don't want to get hurt again." I said, and they nodded. After talking for a couple more minutes, we put on greys anatomy.
-
We were all talking about our life, after watching an episode of greys.
"Yeah, Gaten has been acting a little weird, I just don't know why." Maddie said, and I looked over to Grace, who also looked confused.
She was drunk, she doesn't remember that she made out with Gaten. I should really tell someone, but Gaten needs to be the one to tell them.
"Oh no, do you think he cheated?" Grace asked. I laughed in my head.
"I don't think he would do that, Gaten is a nice guy." Maddie said, and I looked at her.
"So you're saying Finn isn't a nice guy?" I asked.
"No-that's not what I meant. Sorry Millie." She said, and I nodded.
"Well Caleb is doing good, we haven't fought since we got back together." Sadie said. Atleast She has her relationship together, unlike the rest of us.
"Noah is good too, we have occasional fights, but they are stupid." Grace said, and I nodded.
-
"It's 6:30, we should probably get going." Sadie said, and I nodded.
"Okay, see you guys tomorrow?" I asked them.
"Yep!! Bye Millie!!" Maddie said, along with Grace and Sadie. I closed the door, and my mom walked down the stairs.
"What do you want for dinner?" She asked.
-
After we ate, I went upstairs and showered. I changed into pajamas and went into my bed, and checked my phone. I went on Instagram, and saw a bunch of stuff about the shooting, and how they didn't catch the other guy.
I wonder if he's ever gonna come back. I don't think he will, after the police caught his friend.
But not everything you think, is true.
THIS CHAPTER WAS SO BORING IM SORRY I JUST NEEDED A FILLER CHAPTER BC NEXT CHAPTER IS ABOUT TO BE INSANE, OR MAYBE ITS THE ONE AFTER THAT I HAVENT DECIDED YET
