Millie's pov

"I should get going, it's already 7:00." I said, while we were all upstairs on our phones, in the living room.

"Okay, bye Millie!" Sadie said, and everyone else said bye too. I walked out of her house and got into my car and drove home.

What a day.

I looked out the window in language class and saw rain falling, down pouring. I was mesmerized by the rain I didn't even hear what my language teacher was saying. Then I feel someone kick my foot and I jumped a little, and it was Finn. He widened his eyes to show me that the teacher to talk to me. I look over to the teacher.

"Isn't That right, Millie?" My teacher said.

"Uh, Yeah, Ms. Lorbin." I said, as the bell rang. Everyone got up and walked out of class, and I was the last one out. Finn waited by the door for me. I walked up to him and we started walking to our next class, math.

"Did you even hear what she said?" Finn said, laughing.

"No, what did she say?" I asked, as Finn was still smiling.

"She said 'and people who don't pay attention, like Millie over there, won't get a good grade on this assignment. Isn't that right Millie?'" Finn said, and started laughing after he said it. My cheeks started to flush with embarrassment. I hit Finns arm to make him stop laughing.

"Yeah, and Millie was like 'uh, yeah.'" Finn explained to Sadie and Noah in math class, because coincidently, all four of us are in a group. We just got assigned to these seats today. Sadie sits across from me, and Finn sits to my right, and Noah sits across from Finn.

"Finn, shut up before I make you myself." I said, not in a very serious tone, but enough to show that I was embarrassed about it.

"Okay Millie, whatever you say." He said, and he started to work on the math packet. I looked at Noah and Sadie, and they were both looking at me, smirking. I shook my head no, and they started to laugh. Finn looked up at them, and noticed they were staring at me with a smirk on their faces, and smiled, confused about what happened, and went back to work on the packet.

"No, it's me gustas." I told Finn, when we were working on our packet in Spanish. We had to complete it with our table partner.

"No, it's me gusta." Finn said, sounding like he was sure of it. I got my binder and got out my sheet with the Spanish words on it and the meaning in English, and showed him that "I like you" in Spanish is me gustas instead of me gusta, which means "I like".

"Oh. Sorry, little miss smarty." He said, and I laughed and looked at him. He was looking right into my eyes, like he was trying to see into me. We still haven't talked about that kiss, and I don't want to. I think I like him, but I don't think he likes me back. I don't want to tell him my feelings just to get rejected. I looked at his curly dark brown hair, and it looked the same as usual. He was wearing a plain black shirt with a grey zip-up hoodie over it, but the hoodie wasn't zipped up. He wore black joggers with it, and some new in style shoes which I don't pay much attention to. I am wearing a dark blue fuzzy sweater with a grey scarf, and leggings. I left my shoulder length hair down, and I curled it. We stopped looking at each other when he broke the silence.

"You look nice today. Your bruise is gone too." Finn said, making me smile.

"Yeah. You look okay too." I said, and he furrows his eyebrows.

"I look okay? I tried today, you know." He said, which made me giggle. Ew, why am I giggling?

"Okay, you look good today too." I said, and he gives me a smile, then the bell rang. I didn't realize that the bell was about to ring, so I still had all my stuff out, along with Finn. We stayed after a couple minutes and put our things into our bags, then I went to my locker; and Finn came with me since we have lunch next. We were probably 5 minutes late, but whatever. We walked into lunch, and we sat down and everyone was looking at us.

"What?" Finn said, setting his bag down.

"Where were you guys?" Gaten asked. All of them still looking at us.

"We were in the Spanish classroom, then my locker." I said, still taking my backpack off of my back.

"Or were you guys in the supply closet again?" Gaten said, and everyone turned around and looked at him, their jaws dropped.

"Was I not supposed to say that?" Gaten said, and everyone shook their heads no, and I grabbed my backpack and put it back on my back.

"That's my cue to leave." I said, walking away, out of the cafeteria.

"Millie, come back!!" Sadie said. I didn't turn back around, I just opened the cafeteria doors and walked out.

Finns pov

"Wait, Millie told you guys?" Finn said, and all of them turned to him smiling.

"Well, she told us girls, then we told Gaten and the guys." Sadie said, and now I understood. I haven't really said anything about the kiss, she hasn't either.

"Way to go, Gaten." I said, and got up and grabbed my bag, and went to try and find Millie. I walk around for a while, but then I saw her run into the bathroom and close the door. I walk up to it, and knock on the door.

"Millie, it's Finn." I said, but there was no response.

"I'm coming in." I said, and I gave her a few seconds if she wanted to say something back, but she didn't. I opened the door and luckily nobody was in here except for her.

"You know there could be other girls in here." Millie said, eyeing me.

"Whoops." I said, and she just walked in front of the mirror and stood there, arms crossed. I still stood by the door. She didn't look at me, she was just looking in the mirror, so I could only see half of her face.

"We need to talk about the kiss." I said, and she nodded her head.

"I don't know what I was thinking, and I shouldn't have kissed you, I wasted your first kiss. I'm sorry." She still didn't say anything, so I walked up to her and stood behind her. She saw me in the mirror and turned around, facing me.

"You didn't waste my first kiss, Finn. You're a good kisser." She said, uncrossing her arms, putting them around my neck, lacing her own fingers together. We were really close now. I have to look down at her a bit, because she is shorter than I am.

"Oh, am I now?" I said, putting my hands around her waist. She giggled. I love her giggle. She went on her tip toes and got a little taller, making me not have to look down to her as much. When she stands normally, her head only goes up to my shoulders. She starts to lean in, and I do too, until we hear a crash at the door. We both look over, and there we see them. Gaten, Noah, Caleb, Grace, Maddie, and Sadie all on the ground now. They were probably leaning against the door. I quickly took my hands off of Millie's waist and she did the same and backed away.

"What are you guys doing?" Millie asked, shocked at what she saw. They all got up.

Millie's pov

"Eavesdropping, duh." Sadie said, and the three girls run into the bathroom, and I go up to Finn and start to walk towards him, and he walks backwards.

"Kicking me out, are you?" He said, and I smiled at him.

"This is the girls bathroom, ya know." I said, putting my hand on his chest to get him out of the bathroom.

"I guess." He said, and smiled at me before I closed the door. I turned back around to Maddie, Grace, and Sadie.

"WHAT HAPPENED??!!!" Sadie, Maddie, and Grace said.

"Oh, I thought you knew because you were all leaning against the door." I said and I laughed.

"We couldn't hear you guys." Sadie said, and I laughed.

I told them what happened, and they were smiling.

"Do you like him though?" Grace said, and I smiled.

"I don't know." I said, smiling.

"You totally like him, you're blushing!" Maddie said, and we all laughed.

I like Finn Wolfhard.
