Millie's pov

"Millie, wake up, you're getting a call on your phone." Sadie told me. I answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Yes, Millie? This is the hospital. Your mom has woken up, and we are doing an MRI on her, so you can come and see her." They told me.

"Okay, thank you." I said back. I ended it and got up. I got ready and told Sadie about it.

I walked into my moms hospital room, and she was awake.

"Mom?" I said. She looked at me and smiled.

"Millie. Hi." She said, her voice calm and soothing. It was a little too normal. Just then, the doctor walked in. Paige was in the room as well.

"We found a tumor on the MRI, that is hitting her brain, the part that makes her do certain actions and say things. We will have to do a surgery to remove it." The doctor said.

"How long has the tumor been there??" I asked them.

"We aren't entirely sure, but as far as we know, over a decade. It could have changed the way she acted, did you notice anything strange about her then?" The doc asked.

"She started to act different when we were little." Paige said.

"Okay, So we will schedule to do the surgery today." The doc said.

"Thank you, dr Sheppard." Paige said, and he nodded his head, and walked away. I'm really nervous about this surgery, anything can go wrong.

"What's happening with your mom?" Finn asked me, as we sat in my car.

"They found a tumor in her brain which has been messing up the way she acts and talks for over 10 years. They are going to try and remove it today." I said, tapping my hand against the armrest.

"What do you mean?? Did she act weird??" Fin asked me.

"When we were little, my mom started to act different. She started to just become crazy, and that's when my dad left. I guess it's because of the tumor. I didn't really tell anyone, because they wouldn't understand. I'm just really nervous for her surgery, what if she doesn't make it??" I ask, tapping my hand on the armrest faster. Then, I feel Finn grab it and intertwine his fingers with mine.

"She will be okay, don't worry. I have a feeling she will." He said, and I looked at him, smiling.

"Your Mom just got out of surgery, and it went perfectly, we got all of the tumor out."

"Okay, can I see her?" I asked the doctor.

"Yes, right this way." He said, and led me to my moms hospital room, and she was laying there awake. I walked up to her and sat down in the chair next to her. She looked at me and smiled.

"Millie." She said, smiling at me. No more crazy Mom, I guess.

"Mom, I'm really glad you're okay." I said, holding her hand.

"Me too, we should have seen a doctor sooner." She said, and we both laughed.

Maybe I can have a good relationship with my mom after all.

"She will have to stay here for the week, we have to monitor her, and she will need a lot of sleep." The doctor said, and I nodded.

"I was thinking we could all go to my cabin, since we have nothing to do this winter break." Sadie said, to all of us in her living room. Everyone was down to go, so we would leave tomorrow. We all hung out for a little more, then everyone went home. It was already 11:00, so I went to bed.

"Millie, wake up, we gotta pack!!" Sadie said to me, and I got up and put my glasses on. I realized I was gonna have to pack a lot, so I went back to my house to grab some of my clothes, and packed. About 1 hour later, I was fully packed, and headed back to Sadie's, and saw everyone there. There was a lot of snow on the ground, so basically everything was white, so I could spot them all easily. I walk up to the car and put my suitcase with everyone else's. I walk up to everyone that was talking.

"Finally, you're here!! We are gonna get going now." I nodded and we all got into the car, Gaten, Grace, and Maddie in the back, Me, Finn, and Noah in the middle, and Sadie and Caleb in the front. I sat next to the window, and so did Noah, so Finn was in-between us. I put my headphones in and started listening to the new ed Sheehan album(10/10 would recommend tbh), and looked out the window. I didn't realize how long I was listening to it until I saw that we were at the cabin. We all got out and grabbed our suitcases and went into the cabin. It was huge, and it had 4 rooms. There were 2 floors, and the view on the porch was beautiful. I started to look around before Sadie started to talk to us.

"Okay, 4 rooms, and I'm assuming everyone already knows who they are gonna share a room with." Sadie said, and everyone started to go to their rooms. Sadie and Caleb went upstairs to get one of the upstairs rooms, Gaten and Maddie got one on the main floor, Noah and Grace got one on the main floor also. I guess Finn and I are sharing a room then.

"I guess we are sharing a room then. Come on." I said to Finn, and we went upstairs, and got to our room. There was only 1 bed. We didn't say anything about it, I just put my suitcase on the bed and started to unpack everything into the closet and drawers. Same with Finn. I finished packing and set my suitcase in the closet, and sat down on the bed. I went on my phone for a little bit, and then I felt hands wrap around me from behind, and it was Finn. I didn't turn around though. I grabbed his hands from around my stomach and intertwined them with mine. Then I felt a weird sensation on my neck, and realized Finn was kissing it. I smiled. As he went down, his hair hit my neck, tickling it.

"Finn...you're tickling me," I said, laughing the whole time while saying it. I felt a smile form on his lips, and he kept kissing my neck. Then, I threw his hands off of me and turned around towards him, and pushed him down on the bed, then sat on his lap, legs on the side of him. I leaned down towards him, and put my forearms down on the bed, not wanting to put weight on him.

"I said you were tickling me." I said, smiling.

"Yeah, I know, but you're just too cute I couldn't stop myself." He said, and butterflies formed in my stomach. I smiled, then leaned in and kissed him, and he kissed back immediately, putting his hands on my waist. Our lips parted and went back together, so we could get air. We were kissing for a few minutes till we heard the sound of Sadie's voice.

"Oh, my, god!!!!!" She said, and I jumped, and got off of Finn, and sat on the bed, and Finn sat up on the bed.

"Omg Fillie!!!!!!!" Grace said, and Noah and Caleb were with them. I got up, blushing, and looked at them.

"What did you want?" I asked them.

"We were just wondering what you guys were doing, because we made lunch." Caleb said, and I nodded, and Finn and I walked out of the room and downstairs with them. We got into the kitchen and I sat down and ate a sandwich.

"You guys missed the make-out session Finn and Millie were having." Sadie said, and I hit her in the arm.

"What!!! Dang it!" Maddie said, and everyone laughed, and I looked at Finn and he was looking down, obviously blushing. Maybe I was too. I'm not sure. We all finished eating and went into the living room, which was huge. I went and sat next to Finn, and noticed it was dark outside. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, and it was 7:30. They all wanted to watch a movie, so we decided to watch the Maze Runner. I love that movie, its really good. I was on the end of the couch, Finn next to me. I repositioned myself and laid my legs on top of him, so I could be more comfortable. He looked at me and I smiled at him. I felt his hand on my thigh, and he didn't move it. We watched the movie, and we were halfway through when I noticed that everyone was asleep except Finn, Noah, and I. I repositioned myself and sat next to Finn and linked my arm to his, and laid my head on his shoulder. I felt him kiss the top of my head, and I smiled.

I didn't realize I fell asleep until I felt Finn pick me up. My arms were around his neck, and my legs were wrapped around him so I wouldn't fall off of him. I just pretended to be asleep so he could carry me, I didn't wanna walk. He smelled really good too, I love the way he smells. We got to our room and he laid me down, but before he can get out of my grasp I pull him towards me and start to kiss him. He kisses back, on top of me, not putting weight on me. We kiss for a few minutes before I push him off of me to lay next to me. Then, I forgot about my contacts. I got up and walked to the bathroom and took them out and of my glasses on, then walked back to the bed where Finn is in. I get under the blankets and cuddle next to Finn, and put my arm around him and my head on his chest, and he wrapped his arm around me.

My life is really good right now.
