Millie

I get to school, and get to my first class, spanish. I'm emotionless, like I usually am. I see that there are assigned seats, so I go to mine, and there's only 2 to a table, I I'm wondering who I sit next to. I put my elbow on the next and rest my head on my hand and I start to tap the bottom of my pencil on the desk. I didn't stop until I realized someone sat down next to me. I stopped but I didn't look up.

"Millie?? What a nice name." He said. I know that voice. I look up, and of course it's him. Of course it's Finn.

"Yeah I guess." My British accent thick when I said it.

"Nice accent." He said, looking at me, but I didn't look at him.

"Thanks." I said, and I finally met my eyes with him. He had a smile on his face, which made me smile a little. Once I smiled I looked back down.

"Wait you what?!!!!" Caleb asked me, curious.

"I sit next to Finn in Spanish." I said, again.

"Dang, good luck." We laugh, then we see Gaten coming to our lunch table with someone new. At our lunch table, it's Sadie and Caleb (Dating) , Grace and Noah (dating), and usually just me and Gaten, single. But today Gaten brought someone.

"Hey guys meet maddie." Gaten said, I looked up and I recognized her, I used to dance with her when I danced. We became good friends.

"Hey Millie!!" She said, hugging me.

"Hey." I said, hugging her back.

Everyone was conversating, but I just sat there. I was the only one here who was single, and it made me feel like a 7th wheel. Gotta love it.

"You've got to be kidding me." I said to Sadie, when we were in language, turns out he is in this class too. Sadie just laughed at me.

"Okay class, I put your groups into groups of four. Look at the seating chart and get seated." My teacher told me, and I looked and saw that my group was me, this guy snaked John, Girl named Chloe, and of course, the guy named Finn. Our desks were in a square, so I sat next to Chloe and across from Finn, and Chloe sat across from John. She gave us a paper to fill out about ourselves, like our eye color, hobbies, what kind of person we are basically. I kept my head down and filled it out, but I can feel Finn staring at me. After a minute, I look up at him, and he looks at me.

"What" I said.

"Hi" Finn said, smiling.

"You stared at me for a minute just to say hi?" I said, obviously irritated.

"Yeah" he smiled, and I just rolled my eyes and went back to writing. When I finished, I handed it to the teacher and sat back down, reading my book. I was currently reading "IT" , it has 1090 pages in it. I was already halfway through, because I like to read. I got caught up in it, and then I saw a hand lower the book down so I can see their eyes. It was Finn. What does he want now??

"The bell rang like a minute ago." He said to me, laughing.

"What??!!" I got up and put my book in my bag and spedwalked out of the classroom. Finn ran up to me and walked with me. He showed me his schedule, and I saw that I had biology and health class with him too, which were at the end of the day. I walked away from him, and continued on with my day.

"Guys, I would like to add a friend to our party if it's acceptable to you guys." Gaten walked up to us, asking us. Who calls their friend group a party?? We do. Then I see Finn walk up with Gaten, and basically everyone in our party turns to me. They all know the trouble I go through with Finn, except Gaten. He was never there when I told everyone.

"What's wrong" Gaten asked, worried.

"Nothing, I don't care if he joins." I said, assuring everyone it was fine. It's not like he would talk to me that much. Everyone else agreed to him becoming one of us, and he sat down, next to me, on the end, because there was an empty seat next to me. After a while, everyone started conversating, but basically just talking to their own girlfriends/boyfriends. Like usual, I didn't talk. I got my book out and started reading it. Then, I heard someone whisper in my ear. It made me jump.

"Is this how it is every day?" It was Finn. Of course, it was Finn. He laughed when I jumped, and I just got mad.

"Yes" I said, going back to my book.

"Well, I know you're not much of a talker, but since I'm in your party now you can try and talk to me now, since we are gonna become friends." Finn said. I looked at him with a curious look.

"People say that you are the bad boy of the school. Is that true?" I asked.

"That's the most I've ever heard you say at once. And yeah, I guess I am." He laughed, and a little laugh escaped from me.

"I knew you weren't a robot." Finn said. I just smiled and rolled my eyes playfully.

"So guys, can you all make it to the party tonight??" Noah asked all of us, and we said yeah. The party started at 10, so I'll have to sneak out.

I get home, and it's the usual, Mom and Paige are arguing over something. I go upstairs into my room and put my headphones on and lay on my bed, and I drifted off to sleep.

"Millie?? Millie?? MILLIE!!!" I woke up to my mom yelling my name. I check the time, and it's 6:30.

"What Mom?" I ask, slightly annoyed.

"I'm gonna be gone for the weekend, im going to visit some friends. I'll see you Sunday. Paige will be here if you need anything." She left without letting me reply, and I go downstairs about an hour later to see Paige carrying a backpack around her shoulders.

"Hey, do you care if I sleep over at my friend Anna's??" She asked me.

"Nope, I won't tell Mom either." I said, walking to the living room.

"You're the best. See you tomorrow." She said, giving me a hug, and walking out the door.

Great, the house to myself till the party. I decide to text the chat.

@millie- Hey guys, my mom is out of town for the weekend and Paige is staying over at her friends and already left, so if you wanna hang out before the party you can come to my house :)

Wow, I'm having people over. I've never really had people over before. Cool.

"We're here!!!" I can hear everyone yell. I go to the door and open it, and they all run in. They haven't been in my house before, so they are exploring all of it. I just laugh at their amazement.

"Millie you're House is so beautiful and like HUGE!!" Sadie said, I laughed.

I was getting ready for the party after they all left, I wore this⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I left my house and drove to Noah's house, and it wasn't packed, but there were a lot of people there. I'm just hoping nothing goes wrong.
