Millie's pov

Just another Wednesday, like usual, everything is boring. I sit in my language class, silent, while everyone else is talking. She gave us free time the whole period because it was a substitute teacher, so everyone was just talking, but I just read Twilight because I still need to finish it. I was reading for a while until I saw a hand go onto my book and set it down to the table. I looked up and it was Finn, across from me. I just raised my eyebrows at him.

"What? The quiet girl doesn't wanna talk? To the Finn Wolfhard?" Finn asked, and was smiling, and I just smiled back and began to read my book again. I was not in the mood today for anything. Finn can make me smile, but everything else, is a no. I just don't want to talk, like usual. He puts his hand on my book again and puts it down.

"I'm not in the mood today, Finn." I said, and put my book back up, and started to read again. I was close to the end, and a total team Edward. I didn't get interrupted by Finn in language the rest of the time, but I looked at him a couple times and he looked kinda sad.

"Hola, class. Today, you will work with your table partner and come up with a conversation about the topic that I give each of you. Remember, it must be in Spanish, and you are going to present them to the class tomorrow." She said. Presenting? It's my worst nightmare. My eyes widened, and I looked at her like she was crazy. Then I felt Finn but his hand on my arm.

"Presenting will be fine, don't worry about it." Finn said with a smile on his face.

"No, presenting is the worst thing to ever be created, or done. I hate it." I said, shaking my head.

"It's because your quiet." He said, and I was about to argue back, but the teacher came up to us.

"Finn, Millie, your topic is types of hair and hairstyles. Is that good?" She asked us. We nodded, and she went to the next group. We worked on that for the remainder of the class period.

At lunch, I didn't eat anything because I wasn't hungry for some reason. I set my elbow on the table and rested the side of my head in my hand, and I zoned out. I didn't realize it until Finn waved his hand in front of me.

"What?" I ask him.

"You looked sad." Finn said, and I smiled at him.

"I'm not sad. What do you mean?" I ask him.

"I don't know, it just looks like you're not having a good day today." Finn said, and my smile went away.

"I'm not." I said, and he nodded.

"Well-" Finn said, but I cut him off.

"I don't really feel like talking either, so please just don't talk to me please." I said, and he nodded, looking sad about it. Sadie and Gaten were having a debate about riverdale and the rest of the group were picking sides, and I just got out my book again. I read till the end of lunch, and the bell rang. We all got up, and Finn was walking away, before I caught up to him.

"Meet me at my locker at 1:30." I whispered into his ear, and he smiled, but still looking forward, and then I walked away. I felt really bad that I haven't talked to him today.

I got to my locker, and I emptied my bag, and kept the binders that I need, and I closed my locker, and Finn was there when I closed it. I smiled and put my arms around his neck, and I felt his hands go around my hips.

"I'm sorry for being in a mood today, I've just not been in the mood to talk." I said.

"It's okay, we all have those days." Finn said, which made me smile, and I got on my tip toes and kissed him. We turned the kiss into a long kiss, and after a while, we separated. I smiled at him and put my head on his chest. I heard a classroom door open, so we quickly backed away from each other. He walked me back to my study hall, and we said bye, and he went back to his study hall.

"You've just been a jerk to me and I've been letting you!!!" I heard Sadie say, yelling throughout the schoolyard. It was the end of the day, and everyone started to look to see what was happening.

"Well, if I'm such a jerk to you, then maybe we shouldn't be together anymore!!" Caleb said, and Sadie gave him a mean look and you could see the sadness in her eyes.

"Fine, If you want it to be like that, so be it!!" Sadie said, and she took her necklace that Caleb gave her, and she threw it on the ground. She ran away and got into her car and drove away. I felt hands from behind me hold onto my waist. I turned around and it was Romeo. I quickly removed his hands and backed away a few steps from him.

"Romeo, what are you doing??" I said, and he was smirking at me.

"Don't you want to finish where we left off at the party?" He said, and I furrowed my eyebrows and stepped another step back as he took a step towards me.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"You were all over me, kissing me, everything, but someone called me out of the kitchen so I said I'd be right back, but you weren't there when I came back. So, we can finish where we left off now." He said, smiling, taking another step toward me. And I took another step back.

"You put alcohol in my drink, and you got me drunk." I said, giving him a mean stare.

"I recall no such thing, you asked for water and I got you water." He said, smirking. He was lying. He kept walking towards me until I hit my back against the brick wall of the school. He stopped when our shoes were touching. I looked down, not making eye contact.

"Admit it, Mills, you like me." He whispered into my ear, and I looked up at him with tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Don't call me Mills." I said, his smile still on his face.

"Or what?" He said, and I looked around and everyone was already gone. I felt his hand travel to my waist and up my back. I grabbed it and pushed it back to him.

"What's wrong, Mills? Is something bothering you?" He said, and I blinked, and tears came out of my eyes, down my face.

"I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye Mills." He said, and walked away. He turned the corner and I vanished. I slid down the wall, and started to cry. Then I saw someone out of the corner of my eye turn the corner, and I thought it was Romeo again, so I just sat there still, crying. Then I looked up, and it was Finn. He had a worried look on his face, and he sat beside me.

"What's wrong?? What happened?? Did Romeo do something, I just saw him." He said, worried. I just kept crying, and he got up and grabbed my hand and helped me up, and he just pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest. I hate Romeo. We could of been friends if he didn't say that he liked me, but now he's like turned evil. Maybe he was like that all the time. The worst part is, he called me Mills. 3 times. And he told me that I was kissing him at the party, which I can't tell if it's true, because I can't remember anything from that night. Finn took me to my car and drove us to my house, and we went inside, and I sat on the couch, my eyes all red and puffy from crying. Finn sat next to me.

"Finn, did you tell me everything that I did that happened the night of the party?" I asked, and he was thinking.

"I told you everything I saw you do." He said, and tears started to form in my eyes. I told him everything that Romeo did, and said.

"Millie, I'm so sorry that I wasn't there, I should have found you after school." He said, and I just cried into his chest. I pushed him back onto the couch, so we were laying now. I put my head on his chest and cried, and he put a hand on my back and moved it back and forth. After a while, I stopped crying, and I looked at him, taking my head off of his chest. He looked at me, and then I got a notification on my phone. I grabbed it out of my pocket and I saw 5 missed calls from Sadie, 4 texts from Grace, 3 texts from Maddie, and a missed call from Grace. I totally forgot about what happened with Sadie and Caleb.

"I shouldn't even be the one crying here, Sadie broke up with Caleb." I said, and Finn sat up next to me.

"Why?" He said.

"I'm not sure, they were having a fight in front of the whole school at the end of the day, and they broke up after the fight." I said, and he understood. I texted the group chat of all of us girls.

@millie- Sorry Guys, I was dealing with something. Come to my house,
ASAP!!!

@maddie- On our way.

I shut off my phone and stood up. Finn stood up with me.

"I'm sorry." I said, and he just furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"For what? What he did and said, he shouldn't have. It's not your fault for getting upset." He told me, and brought me into a hug. We got out of the hug, and I looked up at him, and he looked down at me. He slowly leaned in, hesitant, and kissed me. I kissed back immediately, putting my hands around his neck. He put his hands on my waist, and we got back down on the couch. I flipped over so I was on top of him and sitting on his lap. We continued to kiss, our lips moving in sync. We kissed until we lost track of time and heard the doorbell ring. We both got up quickly and went to the door. I opened it, and Sadie, Maddie, and Grace were all there. They came in and realized Finn was standing behind me.

"Why is Finn here?" Maddie asked, and I just looked at Finn. Everyone looked at us suspiciously.

"Um, I'll tell you later." I said, and grabbing Finn and taking him to the door, where they couldn't hear us.

"You need to go now. I'll talk to you later." I said, and he nodded. I was about to close the door before he stopped it with his hand.

"No goodbye kiss?" He said, and I just laughed at him.

"No. Bye, Finn." I said and closed the door, smiling.
