Next day... sick...

(Bea's POV)

I woke up to a horrible feeling in my stomach. It was like something was moving around and pushing my insides all around. I got out of bed carefully, then rushed as quick as I could to the bathroom before I started vomiting.

The sickness only lasted a few minutes, but it felt horrible. And by the end of it, I was shaking and sweating all over. I twitched slightly when I felt a hand on my back.

I looked over my shoulder, expecting to see Faith, but instead, Korrina was there, looking concerned. "Bea... are you okay?"

I wiped my mouth and nodded. "Mhm..."

"I came by for a visit, and I found you puking your guts out. Is something wrong?"

My eyes widened. My rival had really come by to visit me? I shook my head slightly. No. There had to be some sort of mistake or problem.

"You came by here... just so that you could see me?" I asked in disbelief.

Korrina nodded. "And I found you in here. So tell me what's wrong, please?"

I sighed. "I feel sick, Korrina. I feel like something's pushing my insides around."

She rubbed my back gently. "Take your time. You need to get it all out of your system. I'm right here."

I nodded and continued to puke, trying to get rid of whatever was bothering my stomach. But it didn't go away.

Finally, I gave up, sitting back and groaning. "This isn't working, Korrina."

"I'll grab the thermometer." Korrina went to grab the thermometer. She came back with it. "Here you go."

I took the thermometer and used it. But when it beeped, I was surprised to see that I didn't have a fever. "Wha...?"

Korrina smiled. "Hey, it's great that you're not sick."

"But I am," I said. "I feel so sick. I can't move even the slightest bit without feeling like I'm about to puke."

Korrina thought for a moment. "Have you tried taking a pregnancy test? Or eating something?"

"... pregnancy test, no. Eating, yes."

"You should take a pregnancy test. You might be pregnant."

"But I haven't had-"

"Still, take one. You never know. I'll go buy you one so you can use it." Korrina walked out.

I laid against the tub, my hand clutching at my stomach. I still felt so sick.

A few minutes later, Korrina came back with the test. I thanked her, and she walked out to let me take the test in peace.
