Happy ready, bitches!!!

Killian's P.O.V
"Are you ready for this?"
I asked her as she checked herself over once more.
"I'm ready. Are you ready? You haven't seen your mother in years. This must be really big for you."
We were meeting her parents to finally get some answers surrounding Lacey and her. Mik had mentioned it to her brothers, who were surprised and angry that their parents never told them that they had another sister. They had wanted to confront their parents, but Mik had told them not to, that Lilly wanted to do that herself.
The reason we were meeting my mother, was because Lacey saw a picture with her and said that she remembered her from when she was little. So, Lilly and I decided that my mother must have been a part of them being separated. How exactly she was involved we didn't know but was going to find out.
At first, I didn't want to contact her. I had every intention of never meeting her. She faked her death and left her son to be abused by his monster of a father just to secure her own happiness. I didn't want anything to do with her, and after we find out what her involvement was, I was going to go back to pretending like she was dead.
"It's not a reunion, Red. We need information, and she has got many. It's as simple as that."
Lilly nodded her head and said, "Uh-huh," in a tone that translated to, 'sure, right'.
"The sooner we get this over with the better. I just want to go back to when JD was all we had to deal with."
She grabbed her knife and slid it into the sheath.
I blew out a breath. "That was simpler times, baby."
She came over to me and held my hand. I slipped my fingers through hers, interlocking them.
"Let's get this show on the road." She said as we left the bedroom.
When we got downstairs to the room that Red renamed the guest entertaining room, I saw that Mik was again in my house, eating my food.
"Why the f**k are you always here. Did Jessy finally dump your dumbass? And don't you have food in your own damn house?!"
He just shrugged his shoulders, ignoring my dig about Jessy leaving him. "Jessica wants the kids to eat healthier, so she has got everyone on this crazy low carbs all-vegetable diet. This is the only place that I can come to get my daily intake of carbohydrates"
I rolled my eyes. Jessy was always doing one crazy thing after another to try and make her family eat healthily. And while they were suffering so was I because they would always end up at my house eating out my food.
"You do know that there are thousands of food stores about, that you can purchase food from, instead of coming to my house to eat mine."
Mik shook his head. "No can do, bro. Jessica is watching my finance like a f**king witch with a crystal ball. Your house is my only hope for a satisfying meal."
Lilly laughed. "You're always welcome to come here any time you want. What is ours is yours as well."
Mik eyes lit up and a big shit-eating grin appeared on his face. I shook my head. She didn't know what she'd just started.
"Don't f**king tell him that. Now, we'll never be able to get rid of him or his children. Hell, you might as well have told them to move in, save them the trouble of having to travel."
I was being sarcastic, but from the way, Lilly's eyes lit up and the smile got even broader on Mik's face, I realised my mistake.
"That is a splendid idea!" Lilly said happily.
"It would definitely solve a lot of problems." Mik chined in, mulling the idea over in this head.
Red nodded, agreeing with him. "Yes, yes it would. And the kids would obviously love it. And if you think about it, we would be much safer if we were all together."
Mik nodded much like she did. "So true, so true. But this house is not big enough, we'd have to look into getting somewhere bigger."
Lilly clapped her hands, excited about this new prospect. "I'll call the realtors and look into selling."
"And I'll see what's available on the market that will satisfy us both."
I looked between the two of them. I wasn't a part of their conversation or the decision to sell my house, even though I was the one who bought it.
"Don't I get a say in any of this?" I asked.
"No, Lilly make all the rules." Mik said at the same time Red said, "No, I make all the rules."
I looked at them in disbelief and they both laughed. It's not that I was against the idea of living with Mik and his family. I just didn't want to have to always see his face. There were times that he'd pissed me off, and I would be glad to be rid of him. If he lived in the same house as me, it would only increase his chances of getting shot.
Red and Mik fell into a comfortable conversation, ignoring me like I wasn't even there. Their relationship had gotten stronger over the last few weeks. They were closer than they've ever been, and I thought it had partly to do with her missing Jessy. Mik was the closest she could get to Jessy without actually talking to Jessy.
I had asked her earlier if she was ready to meet her best friend, but as usual, she declined. I didn't question her or pushed her because I knew that she was still struggling to accept herself. Once she was confident enough with who she is, she'd be ready to meet Jessy.
"Am I interrupting?"
Lacey stood by the door looking nervous and unsure. But I was taken aback by how stunning she looked. She wore a simple black dress, paired with red shoes that matched her hair completely. And the way her hair was swept up into a sleek ponytail, accentuated her long neck, reminded me so much of Lilly when she was younger.
"Is she mocking me?" Lilly asked.
I turned to Lilly, who had a scrawl on her face that was similar to the one on Mik's face.
"She's definitely mocking you, sis."
I frowned at Mik because he was adding fuel to the fire just because he didn't like Lacey.
Lilly step forward, intending to attack her, but I held her back. I didn't know what got her so mad, but her parents were on their way, and I didn't want them seeing Red and her sister going at each other.
"Baby, calm down. Whatever it is we can talk about it."
She pushed at my chest, then pointed to Lacey. "Talk about what, Killian?! What the f**k is there to talk about? What more is she going to take from me?!"
I was confused, I didn't know what she was talking about. But I knew better than to ask because my wife was clearly pissed off, and I didn't want her to turn her anger my way.
She turned to Lacey. "Take it off, bitch!"
Lacey's eyes widened in confusion. "Take what off." She said unsure.
"MY DRESS, BITCH! TAKE MY F**KING DRESS OFF!"
Realisation dawned on her as she looked down at herself. I could tell that she didn't know that it was Lilly's dress that she was wearing.
"You tried to steal my kids, my man, my life and now my clothes. Aren't you f**king going to leave anything for me?!" Red continued in a rage.
Lacey fumbled with the zipper at the back of the dress, intending to take it off right there.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was yours. I saw it in the closet, and I thought that Killian left it for me to wear." She said through tears.
Lilly snorted, "Why the f**k would you think that? And spare me your tears, I'm immune to them."
I looked at the dress again, and sure enough, it was Red's. The cleaner must have put it in Lacey's closet by accident, but it wouldn't have gained me any points by mentioning that. So, I did what any man in my situation would do, stayed quiet.
Lacey started slipping the dress down her shoulders and my eyes widened. I turned to Mik who was looking at her like she was crazy.
"What the f**K! It wasn't enough that you paraded naked in front of Killian, now you want Mik to see you in all your hellish glory?" Lilly accused.
Lacey stopped what she was doing. Grabbing the dress and pulling it back up. It was obvious that she didn't intend to strip for us, but was caught off guard by Red's demand.
"I'm sorry." She said fumbling.
"What the f**k are you doing? Take my dress off!" Lilly commanded.
Lacey looked confused. Her eyes darted to me, but that was her third mistake since entering the room.
"Take your eyeballs off of my man, bitch! He can't f**king help you!"
By this time, I decided to put an end to her misery. "Baby, let her go back to her room and change the dress, that way she wouldn't have to strip in front of us."
Red turned sharply; her eyes narrowed at me. "Why are you always defending her? Was her p***y that good?"
I threw my hand up, frustrated. "For f**k sake, I did not sleep with her!"
"And how would you know? Your dumbass got drunk with the bitch and blacked out. Only to wake up naked. And don't even deny it because Mik told me."
I turned to look at Mik, "What the f**k, man?"
He just shrugged, "She wanted to know if I knew what happened that night. How was I supposed to know you didn't tell her everything?"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then opened them again and looked at my wife.
"Baby."
She cut me off. "Forget it. You've got memory loss, and the only person who knows anything is this bitch, so let's ask her."
She folded her armed as she faced Lacey, "Did you trick my husband into f**king you?"
Lacey looked scared like she knew that no answer would be good enough to satisfy her sister.
"Answer me, bitch. Did you or didn't you f**ked my husband?!" Lilly snapped.
Lacey bit her lips, her eyes wildly looking around the room. She opened her mouth but closed it again. She did that a few times and a sickening feeling washed over me.
"You did, didn't you?" Lilly said calmly, voicing what I was thinking.
Lacey looked like she wanted to say something but thought better of it. I had suspected that it might have happened, but I had hope that it didn't.
"Keep the f**king dress." She said with scorn.
She turned to me. Her eyes were glued to mine, and in them, I saw the hurt and anguish that the entire ordeal was causing her.
"And if I didn't love him so much, I would have told you to keep the man as well."
Her words broke my heart because I saw the truth in her eyes. She would give up and walk away if it wasn't for her feelings for me.
"Mr and Mrs Black, your guests have arrived."
Marjorie, the housekeeper said from the door. I thanked her and asked her to show them in.
I reached out to touch Lilly, but she moved away from me. "Let's just get this over with. Then I will need some space to think."
I nodded. "Sure, whatever you want, baby. Take as much time as you need."
