Kath pov

I'm heading out for school dressed in my usual formal school attire that was pressed and delivered to me at my dorm by our house maid Julian.
She's a 27 year old young lady who has been with us since I can remember she's very kind and plays the role of a second mother to me, since my parents are always out on overseas trips visiting other embassies and putting on fashion shows, making clothing lines and those shits.

Me though I was never interested in those stuff so my life is going to suck when I hit 25 because that's when I'm going to have to take over, yeah that's right I'm the heir to there business.
Sucks right?

I filled my mouth with another spoonful of flakes savoring the delicious flavor, I was waiting for mother to carry me to school like she promised but right now she's being a no show upstairs talking on the phone to some business guy.

I looked at my watch then groaned in frustration. I was getting irritated for this long wait, school starts in five minutes and I don't want to be late.

I picked up my bag and walked to the door where Julian was standing. "hey Julie can you tell mom that I left please I'm going to be late if I wait any longer"

She nod her head with a sympathetic smile. Julian knew about my parents absence in my life when I need them so whenever I felt down about it she always does silly things to cheer me up.

I waved and the door behind me.

Guess I'll be walking then.

I reached on campus just as the bell went off so I quickly ran to my first class which is Biology.

I sat in the back of the class with my head down plugged in my earphone and blocked out the words of what the professor was saying, I eventually doze off...

What can I say I'm not a big fan of the science subjects.

As the day proceed the clock stroked 10 and lunch time came. I was on my way walking down the empty halls going to the cafeteria with my beats on when out of the corner of my eyes I saw Theo Brooklyn staring at me.

He was leaned up against the wall with some of his guy friends smoking.

What does that jock want anyways, normal people don't stare at me.

They call me different and boring.

Little do they know I can kick there asses in less than a minute.

I'm not lying though I'm not your regular fraidy cat nerd who crys at every mean word a person throws at them, just know this if you over step your line I promise I will snap at you.

I looked straight ahead averting my eyes and pretending I didn't caught him staring and continued my journey to lunch.

Still don't get it why was he looking.

I ordered an apple and a vegan burger and went out back to the school's court with my tray, there's this big cotton tree out there and luscious green grass it was the perfect place to relax when you want to blow off some steam.
I sat and ate my lunch in my usual silent atmosphere.

I checked my phone to see I received a message from Alex.

A: "yow Kath mah girl we need u here" it read.

K: "what y?" I typed.

A: "you'll see just be prepared for war".

"Shit" I cursed.

I'm guessing it's another attack, darn this always happens. We are always getting attacked out of the blue since we're the top target for all gangs around the city taking us down would make them more superior.

"I'm on my way" I confirmed.

I guess I'm up for a little fun. I checked the time to see its just 3 in the afternoon.
Guess I'm ditching this shit hole.

Mom is suppose to pick me up at 4 but knowing her she's probably gonna make another lame excuse and bail on me.

Some times I wish the child could get a little more attention then and again.
