I went to the library just like they said.I know stupid, but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do. After my last class I sped towards the school library and heard a lot of commotion in the library.

I sneaked inside the library and ran behind a shelf of books. That hid me from the tables in the middle of the library.

There was almost every student that attended our high school in the library but divided into groups. The groups then seemed to make two teams and sat across from each other. Team one had the populars.

The jocks,the cheerleaders, football players, basketball players, and so on. I frowned was that my brother in that group? I shook my head in disappointment.

Team two had the nerds, emos, skaters, hipsters, loners, the normal people,the dance team of our school some and a few sport players.

What the heck was going on? Did they trick me to cone here?

The school's quarterback, Riley whistled making everyone quiet. "Where the f*ck is Dawn?!" He said angrily. I smirked. I had to make an entrance, but I could not make my move, not yet.

"I told her to come at soon as school was over!" Said Thomas glaring at him.
This was like a game Riley was the leader of one team and Thomas the leader of the other team.Suddenly the door opened and in came a crowd of people.More people?!?!

They were being led by Mason Braxton the schools clown."Are we late?"he asked grinning.Thomas and Riley glared at him."You are!" Snapped Jessica which was sitting beside or should I say on the lap of Riley.Damn why is everyone so salty today?

"The Queen is never late!Everyone is just to Early!" He said in a sassy tone with a hand on his hip.

His ginger colored hair was longish and messy and his green eyes were shining brightly.He was tall around 6"3.He was wearing a red plaid shirt and jeans with vans and a leather jacket.Besides being known as the class clown he is also known as skater boy.The girls were attracted to him also and they named him the third hottest guy in our school.

"Go sit down with whatever team you chose!" Exclaimed Riley angrily.Well someone is salty today.He may be on his guy period I thought.PMSing is tough stuff."Fine!!" He whined and sat in team two aka Thomas' team.

"Okay,so where is Dawn?" He asked curiously.They all shrugged.I held back a snicker and decided that now was the time

I quietly climbed the bookshelf until I reach the top since they had their backs towards the back of the library.Where they could not see me.I crouched on top of the bookshelf looking down at the eight feet drop.Their was a table near it.I decided I will jump on top of it.

With a front flip I jumped towards the table and a book most have fallen as I jumped since everyone turned toward my way as I jumped. I landed on the table ironman/spiderman style with one hand on the table crouched down. My hair creating a curtain around my head which was bowed down.

Yes!I did not break my neck!

I raised my head smirking saying "Someone called me?" Slowly standing up. Dusted myself off before jumping off the table with elegance.

"Bravo! Bravo! Bravissimo!" Cheered Mason while standing up and clapping. The rest of the school stared me in awe, jealously, hatred or amused expressions. Grinning I bowed. I then noticed that the librarian wasn't here. Where the heck are the teachers at?

"Finally someone decided to arrive!" Thomas exclaimed annoyed.

"I was already here.Just eavesdropping." I said causally crossing me legs and resting my back against the bookshelf and slipped on my glasses.

My eyesight wasn't that bad I was just far sighted."We have a request." Said Riley importantly puffing up his chest.

"Great! I don't care!" I retorted glaring at everyone and especially at my ex best friend that was glaring at me for no reason."Come on sis! Don't be like that." My brother said.

I got to admit I was curious."Okay then. Tell me what this request is then I will tell you if I have time for it or not." I said uncertain of the decision I was making instead of leaving.

"Our school is dividing into two teams. Team one and team two. We still don't have official names, but it works like this: Each team has members and we are going on war to each other." Riley started to explain.

"The teachers must not know of this. Someone who snitches will be known as the traitor. Each team will try to out beat the other team in everything." Added Thomas.

"At the end of the year whoever has had the most points win. If you fall in love with a member of another team you will have to be team less. We will host parties and have competitions. We are trying to make our last year in high school unforgivable. So what do you say?" Riley finished explaining.

"This is stupid." I said with a blank face.

"I object of there only being two teams and propose for their to be a third team. I will be the leader of the team. I mean their is nothing wrong with a girl leading a team?" I  said daring anyone to contradict me.

Jessica opened her mouth and said "Heck no girls are weak! We can't lead! Only guys have the balls to do so!" She exclaimed. My mouth fell open.The stupid crap this girl says....

"Jessica what the heck goes on in your brain? Oh that's right it is a bit slow.I understand but you must know to not let the male species to be dominate in everything!"I lectured her.  She rolled her eyes and kissed Riley. It was my turn to roll me eyes shaking my head.
Maybe there is a reason for her acting like this...

Sometimes what is broken can not be fixed. And if you try to fix it you will have to be careful since you might cut yourself with the sharp edges. Why should one waste time though?Jessica is a broken case.Yet, I can help her...maybe...

"But-" Thomas started.I raised an eyebrow "But what Thomas?" I asked using his real name which he does not  like at all. Some people snickered and he glared at me.

"Okay people! People Who love each other and are in different teams can join my team if they want to. People who want their team to be lead by a female can join my team. Anyone who will like to join my team can join!" I said smiling enthusiastic.

The first person to stand was Mason. He walked towards me before bowing at me and kneeling in one knee. He gently took my hand and gently kissed it."My lady." he said in a British accent causing me to smack his head playfully while wiping my hand in my jeans.

Xander stood up. I rose an eyebrow in confusion. He was the second hottest guy in our school also the most athletic. Xander walked over to me and with a nod sat on my table.

A group of hipsters stood up and walked towards my group giving me the peace sign and I returned it. A jock stood up and a quiet nerd also did. Together they made their way towards me. Every popular person was shocked. I smiled warmly at them as they held hands. I recognized them. It was Emily Parker and Dylan Ryder.

The few loners stood up and joined my group soon after that the nerds did too. Leaving Thomas with his group made of emos, gothics, scenes and badboys. Basically the dark side people. It also left Riley with the jocks, athletics, cheerleaders, wannabe Queen B along with the Queen B and my
ex best friend.

"Anyone else?" I asked hopefully. Three cheerleaders stood up and joined my side. I recognized the cheerleaders as Hazel, Jissel and Ariana. They were nice people and were not like the other cheerleaders. I looked at my team smiling and smiled they all smiled back. My team had around fifty people it could be more.

"Now we need to name our teams." Declared Thomas."Dawn's team can go first."

We looked at each other and did a huddle thing that football players do.
"What should our team's name be?"I whispered. "I don't know... I think we should be the hunters!" Mason whispered. I nodded my head in approval.The others also looked content with the name.

"We are the hunters!"I announced proudly."This is my team or pack of hunters!" I said proudly and then howled. My team or should I say pack howled with me. The two teams looked surprise with our name and I grinned.

"Alright. Our team name is The dark wolves!" Thomas announced and his team whooped and cheered.

Riley smirked and announced "Our team name is the deadly sins!" His team cheered clearly pleased with the name.

"Our goal is too get the most points from here to the end of the year the team that wins will be crowned team of the year. It is a tradition here in our school to do this and we have it a secret from the teachers and except you to do so as well." Riley reminded us.

We all nodded our heads. "Okay we have to go now before the teachers come back from the meeting. Except the leaders of the team and their two assistants." I looked at Mason and Emily they understood my look and nodded.

The rest of my group left and so did the  members of the other teams. Thomas chose his girlfriend Scar and his best friend, Zac. Riley chose Zane which is his best friend and Jessica.

We all met in one table."You are allowed to pull pranks but this is all about war." Thomas said. "Assistants you will help the leader and help the leader plot plans. Got it?" The assistants nodded.

"Okay you must go, except the leaders." Riley said.

My assistants looked at me clearly not wanting to take orders from someone else "Emily you can go since Dylan is waiting for you. Mason you can go to." I said smiling warmly. Emily nodded smiling and left.

"No I must stay here with you Dawn." Mason protest.

"No-" I started to say but he glared at me and I shut up since Mason hardly glared at people. I faced Thomas that had his girlfriend and Riley that had Jessica by his side. Riley glowered at Mason as if to warn him of something.

"War starts tomorrow and remember everything counts!" I said determined. Mason threw his arm around my shoulder" Don't worry midget we will win this war." He said grinning while Riley glared at my shoulder. I gently took off his arm from my shoulder since I hated being an armrest.

"Okay end of meeting." Riley announced "I got to do something with Jessica." He said smirking at me and left.

"Bye losers." Jessica said and followed Riley."Bye Fawn!" said Thomas and I glared at him. He was going to start reading me also. It didn't help the fact that he was the "Alpha Wolf" of his pack and he called me a deer. He left with Scar. I was about to leave when

"Dawn!!!" I felt someone yell in my ear and I jumped. I turned around to see Mason laughing. I glared at him and headed outside the library towards the hallway my locker was at. Sadly Mason followed me.

"Don't you have to get your stuff?" I asked annoyed."Nope." he said "I already got them." And he showed me his backpack.

"Don't you have football practice?" I asked hoping he will say yes." No we have been training all summer and he let us today and only today off." He said happily.

I put the code in to open my locker when he wasn't looking and took out my things. Together we went outside to the parking lot.

I looked for my brother's car and cursed."My brother left me!" I said angrily. Did he forget me? He is very forgetful one day he forgot he left water in the stove and somehow he burned water. When we where young he forgot I was outside and locked me out and my mom opened the door three hours later. By that point I had a cold since I was stuck outside in the snow.

"I will give you a ride." Mason said."Nah I will just walk home." I said rejecting his offer.

He shook his head and grabbed my back pack then slung me over his shoulder. I protested and I felt people watching us. I looked at the mustang next to us and saw Riley and Jessica making out but they apparently stopped when I let out a cry of protest and were staring at us. Jessica curiously and Riley with a blank face.

"Put me down stupid Mason!" I yelled he held me so that his @ss was basically in my face."Your @ss is on my face it is disgusting really! Dude put me down right now!" I cried out. He smacked my @ss. I yelped and kicked him in the stomach.

He put me down."You are an asśhole!"I yelled angrily.

"I am sorry! I will make it up I promise. How about we go to the ice cream parlor on Saturday?" He asked hopefully running a hand through his hair."Deal." I said.What can I say?Fiid is my weakness.

(Update: oh my crap what? I am editing and saw Fiid and almost died. I am leaving it like this.)

I spit on my hand and and he did the same and we shook hands sealing our deal. I then wiped my hand in my jeans and he also wiped his hand,but in my hair. I glared at him way to ruin the mood.

He smiles innocently."Shall we go m'lady?" He said offering me his arm.

"We shall." I said hesitantly and put my arm around his arm.

He then lead me towards his Ferrari and drove me to my home after I told him the address. When I looked out the window I saw Riley staring at Mason angrily. Was he jealous? Nah.

"What is your favorite color?" Asked Mason. I looked at him confused and answered "Black."

"Black?" he asked confused.

"I think the color black is very poetic some people just don't understand that without darkness their is no light." I said thoughtfully.

"Alrighty then." He said smiling while looking at the road.Our conversation went crazy from there. At the end before we arrived at my house we were debating whether unicorns existed.

"We are here." I said cheerfully."Thank you for the ride Mason." I said gratefully and got out the Ferrari.

"No problemo. See you tomorrow midget." He said smiling." See you tomorrow, Ginger." I said laughing when I saw him pout playfully at his new nick name. I shut the door and waved goodbye and he was gone.

I made my way up to my house where I saw faces pressed against the window. My mother and younger siblings grinned creepily except my older brother and father who looked salty. Very salty.

My mother did kissy faces and I blushed then glared at my mom. I loved my mom a lot and she looked so happy right now that I wish it would last forever. She is slowly healing from her sickness and she hasn't lost the fight. Her hair is up to her shoulders and is growing fast. Soon she will be good as new.

I head towards the door scared of my life. It wasn't because of my mother's creepiness but because of my fuming older brother and father. Maybe my life isn't as fucked up as I thought I guess this school year will be different. But first I had to go through the wrath of my father and my brother.
