I didn't know what to do as Nico, my father and Dany entered the room. Nico's eyes widened in surprise then he glared at Mason. Dad showed no expression while Dany was jumping with excitement.

"Hola señor. Mi nombre es Mason Braxton. Es un placer conocerte." Mason said in Spanish and offering his hand to my dad.

My mouth was open in shock then I quickly replaced it with a blank face. Although in the inside I was dying of fear.

My father shook his hand hesitantly. Mason smiled and my father smiled back. What the heck? Everyone grab your wigs and hats! the world is ending!

Is it just me or did I miss something?

I shook my head in confusion when my father said "Mason you are welcome to our dinner."

"Thank you sir, but I must go. Maybe another time." Mason replied  with a small warm smile. I snorted. He is never this polite to me.

"Dawn mind walking Mason back to the door?" Dad asked smiling."Sure papa." I answered with a tight smile.

"Let's go Braxton!" I said at Mason and walked towards the door and walked into the porch while Mason followed me. Ir was soon starting to get darker and the sky was filled with magnificent colors of the sunset.

"Thanks for brining back my phone Ginger." I said grinning since I loved my phone and depended on my phone.

"You are welcome Dawny, but you own me one!" He said winking.I rolled my eyes."Well I gotta fly Dawn see you tomorrow!" He said as he made his way toward his car.

"Bye Ginger see you tomorrow!"I yelled back as he got on his car. He waved at me and I waved back. I watched him back out of the driveway and go down the road until he was no longer able to be seen.

I sat down on the porch enjoying the beauty of nature. I thought about what was going to soon happen at school. I will try the best to lead my team to success. With my beta, Mason I am sure we can lead our team successfully. I stood up and headed back inside where a warm dinner was waiting for me.

I was still up at midnight doing schoolwork and projects that wasn't due until two weeks from here. It is better to be prepared than not prepared. As I was working on Algebra homework I heard a noise at our backyard. Being the curious cat I decided to go outside to take a look.

I slipped on my hoodie over my shirt and my vans. I looked at my sweatpants and decided that it would keep me warm. I grabbed my phone and looked around the room for a weapon. Not finding anything I ran downstairs and grabbed a broom.
I pulled my hoodie over my head and headed outside.

I creeped down the staircase of our back porch. I heard a rustle and somewhere deep in the forest that surrounded my backyard I heard a howl. I moved my head from side to side to look for something or someone that disturbed my peace. I heard a snap of a twig and I immediately crouched down.

I checked my hoodie pocket for some bubblegum to calm my nerves down.I found som mint flavored one and a pocketknife. Not only that but i found a packet of trail mix and that was good since I was starving. I put the bubblegum away and started to munch on the food I found.

I then remembered where I was and stopped munching. I heard some more twigs snap towards my direction. I swallowed nervously. F*ck my munchies. I am going to die because of food!  

I was hidden in my moms garden and I was hidden behind a bench covered in leaves. I silently prayed that the predator did not here me munch my food. I stuffed my phone in my pocket of my sweatpants and prepared myself to make a run towards the forest.

I grabbed my weapon, the broom and slipped it in-between my hoodie and shirt I made sure it was secure and safe.

It made me feel like a ninja.

I got my pocket knife and held it in my right hand. I heard more twigs snapping and it seemed like the predator was a heavy one. I gulped when I realized that it was not an animal but a human one. A male human one to be exact based on the weight and footsteps.

I then made a run for it. I didn't turn around from fear that I might trip and die like the girls from the horror movies. I also knew that the predator was also running behind me. I ran into the forest. The only light was from the moon. I ran for ten more minutes deeper into the woods.

I stopped and rested my back against a tree when I stopped hearing the running. I wiped of my sweat from my forehead and repositioned my hoodie and took my hair away from my eyes. I took my broom and held it in my left hand and I held my pocket knife in the other. I calmed down my breathing and stood in a fighting like position.

I suddenly felt hands on my waist and I turned around to attack them, but failed. He was too strong and knocked the pocketknife out of my hand and grabbed my broom and used it to cage me with their body. I felt my back press on a hard chest. The smell of mint filled my nostrils.

I struggled against him trying to push the broom away from my body. He held it tighter. I tried to look up and realized he was tall and wore a hoodie making a shadow on his face. He was looking down at me but all I saw was a shadow.

I looked at the ground trying to find my pocket knife."Let me go!" I said trying to wiggle myself away from his cage. I felt hot breath in my neck making me swear in fear."I don't think so fawn." He whispered.

I froze. I knew that voice and I knew who called me fawn. Thomas also known as Thunder."Thomas?" I whispered."Yes Fawn?" He whispered back his hot breath tickling my neck.

"What in the world are you doing?!" I exclaimed.

"War started on Midnight, Fawn.I just wanted to get some points for my team." He said and although I could not see his face I knew he was smirking.

"There is no way for you yo get points Thomas." I said smirking back.

"Ah, are you sure about that?" He said and pressed me closer to him."I have my ways." He added and I glared at the distance." I am sure that you wont get points." I spat out angrily. He spun me around facing him and letting the broom fall on the ground.

"There are various ways to get points Fawn. I could get you to call me Alpha Wolf and getting a title from another leader is a bonus. I could get you to bow down to me or do something that will make me earn points. I tie you down on a tree and that will give me points for messing with another leader. I could kidnap you. I could make you mine and make you give up your team." He said his eyes peeking from the shadows of his hood and shining with mischief.

I swallowed nervously."You are not the only one playing this game Thunderstorm." I whispered.

"I can beat you Thomas. Oh and trust me that I will. I can make you fall for your own trap." I said and smirked. He glared at me."Let's play then Fawn." He said in an angry tone.

I smiled sweetly and punched him on the jaw. He froze and then his eyes flashed with anger. He grabbed me tighter in his arms and leaned down starting to whisper to me."I will let you go only if you call me Alpha Wolf, Fawn." I gritted my teeth and cried out "Never!"

"Lets see if you like being tied to trees Fawn..." He replied angrily and pushed my back gently against a tree. I gave a warrior cry but he stuffed a bandana in my mouth.I spat it out or should I say coughed it out angrily." Stupid, bad, Thomas!" I shouted.

I grabbed on his shoulders and jumped. I wrapped my legs around his waist and grabbed a fistfull of his black hair. He let out a grunt and grabbed my hips trying to pull me off him. An idea popped in my mind and I let go of his hair. I stopped moving and froze but squeezed his waist tighter with my legs.

He froze when he reliazed  in what position we were. He started to pant and I cracked up in my mind since he sounded like a dog that was thirsty. I then felt his hands in my hips grab me harder."Guess who has the upper hand now, Thunder." I whispered snickering trying to appear unaffected by our position. Although in the inside I was dying of the intimidation.

"I think it is best if you get of me Dawn." He said shaking trying to control himself. "Not unless you call me Alpha Huntress, thunder." I said smirking and tighten myself on him.

"No." he growled.

"Say it Thunder and I will get off." I teased grinning.

"Get off me...A-A-Alpha....H-H-Huntress...." He said angrily."My pleasure Thunder!" I said grinning and hopped off him.

I quickly picked up my pocket knife that was shining in the moonlight."We do know who got the most points tonight, thunder. Me." I said laughing.

"Your face when I wrapped my legs around you!" I cracked up wiping an imaginary tear.

"Oh darling Fawn, this is just the beginning." He said smirking. "Of course darling!" I mocked.

"Trust me darling I will win." I whispered. It was starting to get chiller and I rubbed my hands together.

"You do know the way back?" I asked him curiously. "No." he answered . "Sucks to be you!" I shouted and picked up my broom and ran.

"Hey!" He yelled and started running after me. I laughed as he chased after me and I ran like a deer. He let out a howl and started picking up speed. We raced back to my backyard under the starry night sky.

As soon as he came to my backyard he left after telling me to watch my back and goodnight. I headed back to my room and finished the trail mix that I never got to finish in the forest. It was a hella crazy night. Tomorrow it will be even crazier.
