What's done in the dark will always come to light.
Something Nadia realized the Winchester brothers don't get.
Sam tries to hide his psychic abilities a secret from his brother, only for Dean to find out barely a week after he gets back from hell.
Then there's Dean, lying about remembering his time down in the pit, only for Uriel to spill all the tea to Sam, right after they failed to stop another seal from being broken.
It's like a cycle between the two, one holds a secret, the other finds out and then they get in an argument like two little girls.
Or in this case, like right now, Dean drowns his feelings in alcohol being in denial about what Uriel told Sam who's confronting him.
Traveling with these boys was like a reality TV show she liked to call, Hunting with the Winchesters.
Nadia shook her head, watching Dean down another shot.
Sam leaned on the table, his voice low but stern.
"It just doesn't make any sense, Dean. I mean, why would Uriel tell me you remembered Hell if you didn't?"
"Maybe because he's a dick." Dean spat. "Might have something to do with it."
"Maybe, but he's still an angel."
"Yeah, an angel who was ready to level an entire town." Dean frowned. "Look, I don't know what -"
"Radical." Their waiter enthusiastically approached the table.
The blonde haired guy, cheesed at all of them. "What else can I get you guys?"
Nadia shook her beer to see it was still pretty full.
"Uh, I think we're good." She gave him a friendly smile.
"Yeah?" His smile seem to get wider.
Nadia nodded slowly, "Yeah"
"You want to try a couple of fryer bombs? Or a chipotle chili changa?"
Dean shook his head, looking up. "No, no, we're – we're still good."
"Okay, awesome."
Nadia watched the waiter walk away, weirded out by his pep but moves on and puts her attention back on the brother's conversation.
She wasn't participating in the conversation now but she was definitely going to talk to Dean later.
He was tipsy and annoyed so she knew Sam and her being on his case wouldn't go well.
She knew he was lying from the get and wanted to talk to him alone where he wouldn't have to worry about being vulnerable in front of Sam.
"Sam, honestly, I have no idea why Uriel told you what he did, okay?" Dean shrugged before downing another shot.
Sam watched him drink, "Right."
"What?" Dean asked.
"Okay. Fine. Then look me in the eye and tell me you don't remember a thing from your time down under."
Dean looked at Nadia first as always pretty nervous when she didn't partake in the conversation.
While she was learning his ways, he was learning hers.
If she wasn't saying much, she was definitely thinking and probably gonna say something later.
"Well. . ." She raised her eyebrows at the Winchester, sitting back in her seat.
Dean licked his lips, looking his brother right in the eye.
"I don't remember a thing from my time down under."
Sam looked away not believing him and Dean gritted his teeth. "I don't remember, Sam!"
"Look, Dean, I just want to help." Sam said sincerely.
"You know everything I do. Okay? That's all there is."
Their cheerful waiter made a beeline right toward their table, again.
"Outstanding. Dessert time? Huh? Am I right?"
"Dude." Nadia and Dean said in unison, annoyed.
"Listen, bros and broette. You have got to try our ice cream extreme. It's extreme."
"Uh, no extremities, please." Sam said uncomfortable by his enthusiasm. "Just the-"
"Check?" He interrupted Sam. "All right, awesome."
"Thanks." Sam chuckled a bit as he walked away.
"Did he call me a broette?" Nadia frowned.
"He did." Sam shook his head.
Dean picked up a fry from the plate in the middle of the table and asked, "All right, so, where do we go from here?"
"I'm not sure." Sam began to dig in his bag.
As he was talking, Dean was staring at Nadia who let out a yawn.
She stretched out her arms, showing her exposed.
Dean's gaze went to her shorts, down to her exposed thighs.
He raised his eyebrows in admiration, picking up his mug of beer and taking a sip.
Sam opened his laptop where a news article he was reading earlier was on the screen.
"Uh, looks like it's been pretty quiet lately. No signs of demon activity, no omens or portents I can see."
"That's good news for once." Nadia said, reaching over and grabbing herself a fry.
"Yeah, just the typical smattering of crank UFO sightings and one possible vengeful spirit."
Sam placed his laptop on the table and turned it to the two as Dean drunk more of his beer.
"Here, check this out. Uh. . . Up in Concrete, Washington, eyewitness reports of a ghost that's been haunting the showers of a women's health facility."
Dean suddenly choked on his beer.
"The victim claims that the ghost threw her down a flight of stairs. . .I can see you're very interested."
Sam and Nadia cocked an eyebrow at who Dean closed the laptop and pulled out his wallet, shuffling through dollar bills.
"Women, showers. We got to save these people."
"Oh god." Nadia rolled her eyes, grabbing Dean's last shot and downing it herself.

Sliding her EMF meter in her jacket pocket, Nadia walked out of the Fitness Center, joining Dean on the stairs where he was reading a local newspaper about a man winning a $168M from the lottery.
"Find anything?" He asked, not looking up at her.
"Nope, nada." She shook her head. "And no women either."
Nadia shoved him playfully.
Dean rolled his eyes at her, feigning that he was upset she wouldn't let him go into the showers with her.
They sat there in silence, waiting for Sam to arrive from the Chinese place they dropped him off at to talk to the girl who met the ghost in the shower.
Since they were alone, Nadia thought it would be the right time to talk to Dean.
"So, Dean, uh. . .why do you keep lying to Sam?" She came right out with it.
Dean slowly closed the newspaper, frowning at her. "Lying about what to Sam?"
"About hell."
Dean went tense at her answer, folding up the newspaper.
"Don't lie to me too." She shook her head.
"You think I haven't noticed your small episodes when you're here and then you're not, when you had ghost sickness-"
"I'm not having this conversation." Dean stood, walking away.
"Dean." She walked after him.
"Dean you cannot get mad at Sam when he doesn't tell you about his abilities, then look him in the face and lie that you don't remember hell."
Dean turned around, "It's not the same thing."
"Says who?" Nadia scoffed. "What, you only make the rules now?"
"You know what, I'm such an idiot. How could I believe that you were different?
"Oh no." She shook her head.
"No, no, no. Don't do that, don't make me seem like a bad person because I'm right." She made him scoff. "So, you and I can talk as long as it's not about your feelings?"
"Yes! Exactly!" He raised his voice.
Nadia took a deep breath, not wanting to get mad.
The last thing she wanted to do was make him upset.
"Well I'm sorry Dean, I'm not that girl who's gonna walk on eggshells because you don't like to be vulnerable. I care about you, so if I think you need to say how you feel, I'm gonna say it. You are not alone and you shouldn't have to carry whatever happened to you, by yourself. It's not healthy."
"Well I'm not like you Nadia! I don't just put my feelings on the line, alright?! It's not me and it's never going to be me, so do me a favor and just hop off!"
Anger came over Nadia like a wave.
She bit down on her lip, nodding. "You know what, I got it. I'll back off."
She turned around to go back over to the stairs and for Sam.
"Wait," Dean instantly felt bad, grabbing her hand.
"No. Don't." She pulled away from him.
"You can't just use me to be there for you but push me away when it's uncomfortable, that's not fair to me Dean."
Dean opened his mouth to reply, but got interrupted by Sam who they didn't notice had arrived by taxi.
"Well, you pick up anything?" The younger Winchester asked, oblivious to the argument they were having.
Nadia rubbed the back of her neck, sighing. "No EMF in the shower or anywhere else. This house is clean."
"Yeah. I'm not surprised." Sam replied. "I kind of got the feeling back there that crazy pushed Mrs. Armstrong down the stairs."
As the three walk over to the pier that's nearby, three boys run past, chasing after a scrawny kid.
"Run, Forrest, run! " Dean yells after them as they watch.
Nadia rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
Dean put the newspaper inside his jacket as they continued their stroll.
"Sorry, guys, but I don't think anything's going on around here." Sam slid his hands into his pocket.
As soon as he said that, the trio noticed a man arguing with a police officer.
"How the hell was I supposed to get a look at it?" He yelled. "It grabbed me from behind and threw me into a tree!"
"Something's going on." Nadia stated in curiosity.
The three started walking over.
"Yeah, okay, Gus." Said the officer, obviously not buying his story.
"I understand you got shook up. Anyone would be. But don't you think it- Don't you think it had to be a bear?"
"I know a damn bear track when I see one!" Gus countered. "This thing didn't leave bear tracks! Its feet were huge!"
"Now, Gus. . . "
"It was Bigfoot, Hal – The Bigfoot!"
"Gus, you're not talking sense here." Officer Hal was still talking calmly while Gus got even louder, his eyes widened as if he was crazy.
"There's a Bigfoot out there, damn it, and he's a son of a bitch!"
"Excuse us. FBI." Sam interrupted their conversation.
They showed their badges.
"What?" Hal asked in confusion.
"Yes, sir." Nadia nodded, returning her badge to her jacket. "We're here about the. . . That."
"About Bigfoot?" Hal looked at them as if they were as crazy as Gus.
"That's right." Sam confirmed. "Sir, can you tell me exactly where this happened?"
Gus crossed his arms over his chest, lowering his tone. "Yes, I can."
▫▫▫
"What the hell's going on in this town?" Dean asked as he and Sam walked behind Nadia who was leading them through the forest.
"First there's a ghost that's not real, and now a Bigfoot sighting?"
"Well, every hunter worth his salt knows Bigfoot's a hoax." Says Sam.
"Well, maybe somebody's pumping LSD into the town water supply." Dean jokingly suggested.
The boys suddenly bump into Nadia, who stopped, looking down at the ground.
"Look." She pointed.
They looked down to see huge footprints in the dirt and the footprints did not look like a normal animal.
"Okay." Dean frowned. "What do you suppose made that?"
Sam frowned as well. "That, uh. . ."
"Is a big foot." Nadia cocked her head to the side.
"Let's see where it leads." She continued to walk.
The boys stood there for a moment, very curious to what is going on before following her.
The tracks led to a bridge.
The bridge led to an abandoned liquor store that had the door off the hinges, showing it had been broken into.
They stop and they stare at the door.
Dean shrugs, still clueless as ever. "Okay."
Once the boys moved the door, Nadia walked in with them behind her.
The store wasn't as trashed as they thought. There was a few open snacks that littered the the floor but mostly alcohol bottles.
"So, what – Bigfoot breaks into a liquor store, jonesing for some hooch?" Dean questioned.
He kneeled down, reading the label of a broken glass.
"Amaretto and Irish cream. He's a girl-drink drunk."
"Rude." Nadia scoffed.
She walked away, going to the candy aisle.
While Sam went to the magazine rack, Dean helps himself to a bottle of whiskey and puts it into his jacket pocket.
"Hey." Sam called the both of them. "Check this out."
Nadia joined the boys with a lollipop in her mouth.
Sam was pointing to the empty magazine section that had been completely wiped out.
"He took the whole porno rack?" Dean frowned.
Sam noticed something fuzzy on the rack and picked it up to see it was a bush of brown animal like hair.
Dean sighed. "Well, I'll say it again. What the hell is going on in this town?"
Nadia shook her head, still looking at the porno shelf in disgust. "What a perv. . .men."
"Rude." Both the Winchester boys said in unison.
"Doesn't feel good does it?" She looked mostly at Dean, giving a fake smile.
Nadia walked away, placing the lollipop back in her mouth.
Dean sighed in agitation while Sam stood there confused. "Are you guys okay?"
"Peachy." Dean answered.
The Winchesters then followed Nadia out of the store.
Exiting the store, the guys found her sitting on a bench, her leg crossed over the other.
Dean sat next to her, leaving a gap in between the them.
She didn't even look at him.
Sam motioned her to scoot over and reluctantly she did so, squishing against Dean who avoided her eye contact as well.
She sighed, realizing how small she was compared to the two.
They all sat there for a moment, trying to create possible cases of what could be going on.
"I got nothing." Dean was the first one to give up.
"It's got to be a joke, right?" Sam frowned. "Some big-ass mother in a gorilla suit?"
"Or it's a Bigfoot." Nadia pulled her lollipop out of her mouth. "You know, and he's some kind of a alcoholo-porno addict." She chuckled at the thought.
"Kind of like a deep-woods Duchovny." Dean added, causing them to look at each other nodding in agreement.
They stared at one another for a moment before remembering they were mad at each other and looked away.
The trio suddenly hears a bell, and right before their eyes, a little girl riding her bike passes by.
A magazine dropped out of her basket in the process.
Nadia gets up, going over to pick it up.
The boys come behind her looking down at it.
"A little young for busty Asian beauties." Dean states, watching the girl peddle around the store.
They quietly follow behind her.
Peeking around the corner, they see her getting back on her bike, riding away.
They walk over to the door, seeing a box of alcohol and porn along with a sorry note.
"Come on." Nadia said and they continued to follow her.
▫▫▫
W
ithout the little girl noticing, they tailed her all the way to her house.
Dean parked in front of her home, the three still very confused on what was going on.
"What's this, like a Harry and the Hendersons deal?" Dean looked up at the house as they approached the door.
Nadia knocked and barely a second later, the little girl opened the door, looking adorable as ever with her dark brown pigtails.
"Hello?" She said sweetly.
"Hello!" Sam gave her a friendly smile. "Um, could we. . . You know what? Are your parents home?"
"Nope."
"No." Sam repeated.
"No." Dean said as well. "Um. . . Have you seen a really, really furry. . ."
"Is he in trouble?" She asked worriedly.
They furrow their eyebrows at one another.
"No." Nadia chuckled. "Of course not. No, no, no. Not at all. We just. . .We wanted to make sure he was okay."
"Exactly." Dean nodded.
"He's my teddy bear." The girl lowered her tone, "I think he's sick."
Nadia and the boys stared at her, not knowing how to respond.
"Wow." Replies Dean. "Uh. . . Amazing. Cause you know what?"
He began to dig for his badge, causing Nadia and Sam to do the same.
"We. . . are, uh. . teddy bear doctors."
They showed her their badges.
"Really?" She asked in amazement. "Can you please take a look at him?"
"Of course." Said Nadia putting her badge away as she looked at the boys who nodded.
The little girl surprisingly grabbed Nadia's hand, pulling her inside and the guys followed the two upstairs.
"He's in my bedroom." She looked up at Nadia. "He's pretty grumpy."
They stopped at the first door on the right and she knocked.
"Teddy? There's some nice doctors here to see you."
She opens the door to reveal a real life, big and drunk teddy bear, watching television.
He looks at the three who are literally in shock. "Close the friggin' door!"
The little girl closes the door, looking up at them. "See what I mean?"
With her eyes widened, Nadia slowly looks up at the boys.
