Part Two

The moment there is suspicion about a person's motives, everything he does becomes tainted. ~Mahatma Ghandi

After tying up her boots, Nadia placed her foot back on the floor, sliding her hair behind her ears. Getting up to grab her bag, she stopped when she noticed Sam across from her frantically packing his duffel bag.

"Dean!" He yelled angrily. "Would you hurry up?"

Nadia cocked an eyebrow at the Winchester having noticed he's been on edge all morning. It didn't look like the poor boy had even slept.

Dean who was brushing his teeth, came out of the bathroom laughing.

Sam looked at him, "Sorry, uh, this is funny to you?"

Dean took his toothbrush out of his mouth, a teasing grin on his face. "Mr. Big-Bad-Prison-Guard, Jimmy McMook give you the slip? Yeah, it's pretty funny."

Sam was the one who was supposed to be watching Jimmy but obviously, that didn't work out too well.

"What were you doing, anyway?" Nadia questioned, confused on how Jimmy was actually able to get away.

Dean continued to brush his teeth for a moment, before taking his toothbrush back out, popping his lips.

Sam let out a sigh, trying to keep his cool, "Can we just go, please?"

Dean gave a slight nod before returning to the bathroom.

Sam took a deep breath, continuing to pack his bag and reluctantly Nadia looked away from the Winchester, pushing her thoughts about him to the side.

The trio was silent as the Impala road down the wet road.

Dean as always was driving while Nadia was beside him and Sam was in the backseat.

To their surprise, Anna appeared by the younger Winchester, "Hey, guys."

"Oh!" Dean jerks the steering wheel and the Impala swerves before he gets it back under control on the right side of the road, "Jeez."

"Smooth," The redhead commented.

Nadia held her hand over her heart, having actually been scared too.

Usually, she was at least able to feel a presence but Anna was pretty out of the blue this time.

Dean looked back at the angel, "You ever try calling ahead?"

"I like the element of surprise." She replied.

"What's up? What are you doing here?" Nadia asked her.

"You let Jimmy get away?"

"Talk to ginormo here." Dean pointed back to his brother.

Sam glared at his brother before looking at Anna who looked like she was studying him,
"Sam. . . You seem. . . different."

"Me?" Sam pointed to himself, "I don't know." He chuckled. "A haircut?"

"That's not what I'm talking about," She had a worried look on her face.

The redhead gave Sam a meaningful look which made him turn away. She then proceeded to look at Nadia who she knew had noticed by the look on her face.

Instead of saying anything, Anna went back to her original reason for stopping by, "So, what'd Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?"

"Why?" Dean asked, "What's going on?"

"It's Cas. He got sent back home." She explained, "Well, more like dragged back."

"To heaven?" Nadia questioned. "That's not a good thing?"

"No. That's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad." She had a look of worry in her eyes. " He must have seriously pissed someone off."

"Cas said he had something to tell me," Dean informed her. "Something important."

"What?"

"I don't know."

"Does Jimmy know?"

Nadia shook her head, "We don't think so."

"You don't think so?" Anna repeated, urgency in her voice. "Whatever it is, it's huge. You gotta find out for sure."

"That's why we're going after Jimmy," Sam tells her.

"That's why you shouldn't have let him go in the first place." She looked at Sam accusingly before looking forward, "He's. . .probably dead already."

Having been driving all day, once the sun finally set, the three pulled over to get some gas.

Nadia got out of the passenger seat, stretching her limbs while Dean went to go pay for the gas.

An on edge Sam got out of the car, pacing a little bit.

"You okay?" He actually jumped at the sound of Nadia's voice.

He cleared his throat, running his fingers through his hair. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay."

As soon as Dean came out of the store, Sam turned away. "I'll be back."

While Dean was putting the pump into the car, Nadia watched Sam go into the store, taking his phone out of his pocket.

Feeling Dean's arm around her waist, he pulled the half angel out of her speculation.

"What you staring at?" He kissed her neck.

She smiled, "Nothing. . .well I hope nothing. Sam, he seem a bit on edge to you?"

Dean had noticed but he had been so tired of Sam, he was pretending that he hadn't and his silence told Nadia that.

"You have noticed, haven't you?"

"Yeah," Dean let out a sigh, placing his chin on her shoulder. "I don't know what to do anymore, Robin."

Nadia reached her hand back, touching the side of his face as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

She honestly didn't know what to do either. They couldn't just approach Sam, they didn't really know what was going on with him.

At this point, they were just going to have to watch him.

What's done in the dark, always come to light.

Despite going back to his family being very dangerous, Jimmy, of course, had to see them. Saying yes to Castiel meant making a lot of sacrifices, his family being one of them.

Even if he couldn't quite explain to them what happened, they deserved to know that he was at least alive and well.

Though his wife Amelia was surprised and happy to know that he was okay, his lie about being in a psych clinic didn't excuse him from his absence.

It had a been a year without Jimmy and he was still very much her husband and the father of her daughter.

Things were going to have to go slow until they figured out how to meld back together.

Luckily, Jimmy was okay with slow.

The best thing about coming home was being able to see Claire, his daughter.

At the sight of her, Jimmy almost erupted in tears.

It had only been a year and she had grown so much.

Claire looked up at her father, not even a little bit of anger in her eyes. Just happiness and relief.

"Hi, Daddy." She said sweetly.

"Hi, baby." Jimmy smiled, barely keeping the tears in.

Claire embraced him, and he closed his eyes kissing her blonde hair that matched her mom's.

The moment was cut short by Amelia who came into the dining room with dinner.

"Okay, so we have turkey and roast beef." She put the plate of sandwiches in the middle of the table, "Better be okay. It's all we have."

"Oh, it's fine. It's more than fine." Jimmy was just happy to be home.

He stood at his usual seat at the end of the table, while Claire and Amelia stood on both sides of him.

"Should we sit?" He asked.

"Yeah," Amelia said softly.

Together they took their seat.

"It's perfect." Jimmy reached over and grabbed a sandwich.

"Daddy. . ." Said Claire, "Aren't you going to say grace?"

Amelia eyed a teary-eyed Jimmy who glanced upward, placing his sandwich down, "No, honey, I don't think I am." His voice broke.

Claire looked at him worriedly.

Claire gave him a smile that made him laugh.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Amelia stood from the table and went to answer it.

Jimmy watched her go, leaning out of his seat to see who was at the door. He wiped the tears from his eyes.

It was an old friend, his neighbor, Roger.

"Hey, Roger." Amelia let him in and closed the door.

"Hey, Ames. How you doing?"

"Good." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Am I crazy or did I just see your husband wander in here about half an hour ago?" Roger asked curiously.

Amelia hesitated, "Yeah, uh, you did. But, Roger, now is not a good time."

As she was talking, Roger was staring at Jimmy was coming to join them in the foyer. A huge grin crept upon his face, "Hey, there he is. Son of a bitch," He embraced Jimmy, "What the hell happened to you?"

"Ah, long story." Jimmy pulled away, "But it's over."

"Yeah?"

Jimmy glanced at Amelia and nodded, "I'm good."

"Can I talk to you?" Roger asked, eying Amelia.

"Can I get you a beer?" Amelia offered.

"That'd be good." Roger nodded, "Thanks."

Amelia left to the kitchen.

"Get in here," Roger laughed, leading Jimmy into the living room. He turned to him, "Buddy, you scared the hell out of a lot of people."

Jimmy glanced downward, "I know. I know."

"So really, what happened?"

Jimmy shook his head, "Honestly, worst year of my life and you wouldn't believe a word of it, but it's all okay now. I swear."

Roger looked him in the eye, "Actually, no, it's not."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I mean I'm gonna gut your daughter while you watch."

Roger's turn black and Jimmy's face falls.

The demon smiles, making his eye turn back to their normal color just as Amelia comes back.

"Here you go." She holds out their beers.

While Roger turns to take it, Jimmy grabs a candlestick and whacks him in the head.

He starts bashing Roger's head repeatedly to his wife's surprise.

"What are you doing?" Amelia screamed, "Jimmy, stop!"

"He's a demon!" Jimmy yelled, "Run!"

"Stop it!"

But Jimmy didn't. He just kept screaming, "Run!"
