Part Two

It's crazy, because I don't even know when you became so important to me. It's like watching a snowstorm. You see the flakes falling, but you don't realize how they're adding up. Then suddenly, your whole lawn is covered. All these little things have added up, and you're my snowstorm, baby. ~Anonymous

Nadia unlocked the door of the motel room, walking in to see her Father sitting down at the table, still in his FBI suit.

He had a stack of files in front of him, along with a cup of coffee at his side.

"What did you find?" He asked Nadia who took off her heels by the door, an agitated look on her face.

"Well I talked to Paisley and she in the best way she could, told me she was pretty much possessed a demon."

She took off her suit jacket and placed it over the chair across from her father. "What did her Mom say?"

"Through her swollen electricity burns, she had nothing but good things to say about her daughter. She said before Paisley put the toaster in the bathtub, she looked into her eyes and they were black. She said she knew it wasn't her daughter. Plus, I stopped by to check out the crime scene and I found sulfur. So we're definitely dealing with a demon."

Nadia tensed up, her grasp on the chair tightening.

"Now, Nadie I know you hate demons."

"They are the scum of the earth, Dad." She started to rant. "I mean, possessing kids, who would stoop so low? These are innocent children who can't defend themselves and-"

"We need to figure out how to find the demon." Her Father interrupted her. "And quick, before it possesses another kid. So calm down, and let's figure out how these kids are connected. The demon has to have a pattern."

He tossed her a file and she pulled her chair out, rolling her eyes.

The sooner they can figure out the pattern, the faster she could take this demon out.

Before she could even sit, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket.

Taking out the device, she looked to see it was Dean. He called her just when she arrived at the psychiatric hospital and she forgot to call him back.

"Is that your little boyfriend?" Rufus teased, picking up his coffee mug.

Nadia smirked, rolling her eyes. "Cute, Dad."

"Hey." She answered the phone sitting down while her Father started reading through files.

"Look who finally decided to answer the phone." Said the older Winchester who sounded a little agitated.

"Sorry, this case has got me wrapped up. A demon is possessing children and making them injure and murder their parents."

"Wow. . .that's dark." He commented. "Are you okay?" He knew how she felt towards demons and her soft spot for kids.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Did you guys find a case?" She reached over and grabbed her father's mug, taking a sip.

He went to reach for it, only to grab air.

Rufus frowned at his daughter who ignored his look.

"Yeah, we did. Three guys murdered their wives. All three went to the same strip club."

"Yikes." Nadia's eyebrows rose before she took another sip of coffee.

Dean started explaining what they've gotten so far but Nadia wasn't even listening because she could hear dance music in the background.

She squinted, trying to figure out if her mind was playing with her.

"Are you at a strip club, right now?" She interrupted him.

Rufus looked up from his file, arching his brow.

"Wha-Uh. . .yeah."

"For the first time, I kind of wish you would have lied." She sat the coffee mug down.

"Robin, it's for the case. You know I only have eyes for you." Dean tried to use his charm.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure. You have your fun."

"Don't be like that." He told her. "I haven't even been paying attention to any one around here, I've been too busy missing you. I woke up this morning to find you weren't there and I felt sad, like a puppy or something." He made her giggle.

"You've been hunting with us for awhile now, I think this is the first time we've been apart. It's. . .heart wrenching. I sleep better when you're there."

"You're sweet." She pushed her hair behind her ear. "Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it."

"Yeah I hope so, cause it's really hard putting up a front with Sam after what happened this morning."

"What happened?"

"When I woke up, I heard him whispering on the phone in the bathroom. I don't want to sound paranoid but every bone in my body is telling me-"

"He's talking to Ruby again. . ." Nadia said knowingly. "And that means he's back on the demon blood."

"Exactly." Dean sounded stressed out. "And I want to confront him but that didn't work out the first time. I'm tired, babe. Of Ruby and this infatuation they have with each other. My nightmares, the angels, now I gotta bunch of stripper clients killing their wives. It's too much at once, you know?"

"Yeah, but you can handle it. You always do. We always do." Nadia encouraged him. "So one step at a time. You don't know if it's Ruby for sure, so for now just focus on the case and save some lives."

"And you do the same." He told me. "I need my girl back."

Nadia's lips formed into a smile. "I'll call you soon, okay?"

"Alright, bye." Nadia hung up, placing her phone on the table.

It was at this moment that she was able to evaluate their relationship and see how crazy she was for him.

It seemed as time passed, she was falling even harder for the Winchester.

▫️▫️▫️

Nadia quietly read through another file for the fifth time that night.

There had to be something that was connecting the kids that had been possessed so far.

For some reason, she couldn't find the answer.

Perhaps, she was looking past it.

However, no matter how frustrated she was getting, she continued to look.

Her Father had left, having got a call that yet another kid had 'acted out', leaving Nadia to study herself.

Just as she took a sip of her Redbull, the room door opened and she looked to see her father tossing the keys on the coffee table.

"What happened?"

"A boy put his pet Boa Constrictor into his Mom's bed. You can put the rest of the puzzle together."

"Seriously?" Nadia's eyes widened in shock. She turned back to the table. "Things are getting crazier."

"What have you found?" Rufus leaned on the table beside her.

"Nothing." She sighed. "But I know there's a connection. There's something these kids have in common but I can't. . ." She trailed off, her eyebrows furrowing.

"What is it?" Her Father asked.

"Oh my god. . ." A chill went down her spine. "It's been in front of my face the whole time."

She grabbed three other files, scanning for the same information.

"Dad they all have the same birthday." She pointed out.

"So?" He shrugged.

"Look at the date." She gave him one file.

Rufus took it in his hands, looking at the date.

The father's heart dropped and he gulped, placing the file down.

"It's the day. . .it's the day-"

"The day that Mom was killed." Nadia finished his sentence.

Rufus, in shock, backed away from the table, rubbing his chin.

"Dad," Nadia stood. "Dad this just isn't a normal case, this. . .this is personal."

▫️▫️▫️

Now that Rufus and Nadia knew that the case was personal, it changed everything.

This demon knew them and was trying to get their attention. It was almost like a chase. The digger they dug, the closer they would get.

After a long night of continuing their studying, they found that the kids not only had the same birthday but they all had the same teacher: Ms. Natasha Nelson.

This demon was obviously keeping an eye on the kids, so it had to be someone close to them.

A teacher would be the obvious choice.

"I didn't know the FBI would be looking into such a situation as this." The black haired woman said to Nadia, sitting at her desk.

"A situation like this?" Nadia scoffed a bit. "More than three of your students have tried to kill their parents, half have succeeded. That doesn't strike you as weird?"

"No of course not." She shook her head. "Just didn't know the FBI would be looking into it. Trust me agent, as a teacher I love not only my job but my students and I assure you, their recent actions have broken my heart. These are some of my best students and I never thought they could do such horrible things."

Nadia squinted at the woman, looking for any sign of demon.

"Well, Ms. Nelson I'm glad that you care so much for your students."

Ms. Nelson gave a nod and just as she was about to say something, her gaze went to a woman who was standing by the door.

She seemed to be another teacher.

"Oh right!" Ms. Nelson stood. "Agent, can you give me a minute? I have to do something."

Nadia nodded, watching her leave the room with the other teacher.

After a moment of making sure she was gone, Nadia took out a flask of holy water and poured some in her coffee mug.

Two minutes later, Ms.Nelson came back.

"I'm sorry about that."

"No, it's fine." Nadia waved her hand nonchalantly.

"So some questions you wanted to ask me." Ms. Nelson grabbed her mug and took a sip.

To Nadia's dismay, she didn't react at all.

Making her clean.

After telling her never mind and making an excuse, Nadia left her classroom.

Exiting the school, Nadia took out her phone to call her Father.

Just as she was about to dial his number, a call came in and her Dad's contact name popped up.

"Hello?" She answered.

There was complete silence, causing her to frown in confusion.

"Dad, you there?"

"Sorry, Daddy can't make it to the phone right now." Said a very obscene, sultry male voice.

"Glad to know you weren't going to have me looking all over the place for you. Gotta admit though, you taking my Dad. . .didn't expect that one."

"Well I'm glad I please to surprise." He chuckled.

"You know I've never had a demon personally reach out to me. I'm kind of flattered, when I find you-"

"I wouldn't threaten me if I were you. Not when what's left of your father's life is on the line."

Nadia's fist balled up. "If you hurt him-"

"Listen here, Nadia. I'm calling the shots here, so listen. Meet me at a warehouse tonight around eight. I'll text you the address."

"What do you want?" Nadia asked.

". . .You."

He hung up, leaving Nadia to stare at her phone, fuming.

Just as she put her phone in her pocket, Dean's contact name popped up but she ignored it as she made her way to her car.
