Dean and Sam walk into the hospital, a look of worry on their faces as they approached the receptionists desk.

"Excuse me." Dean said to the gray haired lady. "We're here to see a patient, Nadia Turner."

Before the lady could even answer, a familiar voice called the two.

They looked to see that it was Bobby who looked just as worried as they did.

"Bobby what happened?" Dean walked over to him.

Bobby turned, leading the two into the waiting room.

"Rufus called me, said he came home from a hunting trip and found Nadia bleeding out on the ground in front of his house."

Sam's eyebrows furrowed as he took in this information. "Angels?"

Bobby shook his head. "No, demons. There was sulfur."

The old man's eyebrows furrowed. "Why would angels be after Nadia?"

The boys exchanged looks, not even knowing where to start. "Well. . ."

"You."

Dean turned only to get grabbed and pushed against the wall by an infuriated Rufus.

"I knew it was a bad idea for my daughter to start hanging around you. Things tend to happen when it comes to the Winchesters. Bad things."

The crazed look in Rufus' eyes had Dean shook.

"Rufus." Bobby tried to get his best friend to let the boy go. "Rufus, let him go."

"Where were you, huh? Where were you when I found my baby girl lying there on the ground dying?"

His words caused Dean's breath to hitch as Bobby finally got the angry father off of him.

"Rufus, calm down."

The dark skin man turned his back trying to calm himself down.

"I'm sorry." Dean aplogized. "Everything was fine but we, we woke up and she was gone. I called her, I tried to beg her to let us help but she wouldn't."

"Help with what?" Rufus turned around.

The Winchester brothers exchanged a glance before Sam said, "There's a bounty on her head. Angels and demons are trying to kill her before she can find her grace."

"Her what?" Rufus and Bobby questioned in confusion.

For the next few minutes the boys told the two everything. About Anna being her guardian angel, her mom being an angel and how she's suppose to be one too.

Rufus was so overwhelmed by all the information he had to take a seat.

"Vanessa, an angel?" He thought about his wife. "It can't be, she would've, she would've told me."

Dean shook his head, "When an angel falls, they forget that they were ever even an angel, which is why she made sure Anna could protect her."

Bobby stood there, rubbing his beard trying to take in all that's been said.

Times are definetly changing, he thought.

It was silent between the four men before Dean asked, "Where is she?"

"She's in surgery." Bobby informed him.

Neither of the Winchester boys asked anything else. They just sat down, doing the thing they hated the most.

Waiting.

▫️▫️▫️

It felt like an eternity just sitting there, waiting for someone to tell them something. Dean couldn't eat and he surely couldn't drink. He sat across from Rufus just as anxious as the father.

If his girl wasn't okay, he was going to break.

Rufus had been watching the Winchester for the past few hours and seeing how messed up he was, made him realize how much he cared for his daughter.

"You really like her, huh?" He got the older Winchester's attention.

Bobby and Sam looked at the two men as they talked.

Dean looked Rufus right in the eye. "More than you know, sir."

Rufus had a look of appreciation in his eyes. He didn't like Dean, hell he didn't like anyone but that day that they had a drink with each other, he decided that Dean was alright.

Though he had just roughed the boy up, if Nadia was going to date anyone, he found the thought of the guy being Dean to be very comforting.

"Family of Nadia Turner." A nurse called out.

The four boys stood, Rufus in lead approaching the blonde.

"That's us." Rufus told her.

"Okay, well she just got out of surgery. Follow me."

As the boys followed her to the back of the hospital, she explained everything.

"Nadia lost a lot of blood so, luckily we were able to stop the bleeding, however the wound was so deep, it's pierced some major arteries that aren't exactly repairable."

"Okay, so what are you going to do?" Rufus asked.

The lady stopped by Nadia's room door and turned to the group, a sad look on her face. "We've done everything we can sir, and we're not sure she'll wake up."

All their faces fell at her bad news.

"There's no way in hell you've done all you can. Balls!" Said Bobby. "You're doctors-"

"And as doctors it's our duty to do our best to help patients survive and that is what we did and I'm sorry. Use this time to love on her, and figure out whether you want us to pull the plug or not." She shrugged, a look of despair in her eyes.

"Again, I'm so sorry."

With that, the woman walked away leaving the men there to brood. They all stood there, no one saying a thing.

It wasn't until Rufus opened the door to the room, to see a redhead standing by Nadia's bed side.

"Who are you?"

Dean and Sam pushed past Rufus as the girl turned around, revealing herself as Anna who didn't look happy.

"Hello Dean." She nodded her head. "Sam."

"This is the Anna?" Bobby asked and the boys gave a nod.

"I'm sorry about Nadia." The redhead apologized. "I didn't know she was going to try and do all of it herself. Then again she was always independent, even when she was a little girl."

"Don't be sorry." Dean frowned at her. "You're an angel, you-"

"I can't do anything. Angels are still out for me, if I use magic, they'll just find me and Nadia. We'll all be killed. And if I do heal her, they'll just keep hunting her."

"Anna." Rufus looked at the angel.

"Rufus." She gave a sad smile. "Hi, it's finally nice to meet you."

"Is it true?" He gulped. "You knew Vanessa."

"I did. I uh. . . I know this is a lot but don't hate Vanessa. She just wanted to keep you safe. Both of you, both of you were her world."

"Just tell me," Rufus was desperate. "Tell me there's something we can do. I can't lose her."

Anna turned to an unconscious Nadia, running the back of her hand down her chill cheek.

"Her grace is the only thing that can save her. You find the grace, she'll live."

"Okay, well where is it?" Sam asked.

"Its a gold heart shaped night light. I gave it to her on her birthday. Her grace, it's inside."

"I remember that night light." Rufus snapped. "Hated that thing. It never went off."

"Well don't tell me you threw it away." Chimed in Bobby.

"Of course not but I did give it away to an antique shop about three hours from here."

"Alright then." Dean took his keys out of his pocket. "Sam and I will go, Bobby and Rufus stay here with Nadia."

"I'll go with you." Anna turned around. "I owe her that much."

Dean nodded and before leaving out, he went to Nadia's bedside.

The Winchester leaned his lips toward her ear.

"Don't you die on me, Robin." He whispered. "I'm going to save you. . .This isn't your time."

He gave her a soft kiss on the cheek, before reluctantly leaving with Sam and Anna.

▫️▫️▫️

The car ride was completely silent. Dean was the designated driver as always, while Sammy was shot gun and Anna was sitting quietly in the backseat.

Both the boys missed Nadia's presence, causing there to be a sense of dejection which Anna could feel.

"You're scared." She spoke outloud.

Sam looked over at Dean who's grip was pretty tight on the wheel.

"You're not?" Said the older Winchester. "I mean, we're driving to an antique shop that may or may not have her grace."

"Don't think like that." Anna told him. "Nadia, wouldn't want you to talk like that."

"Anna's right, Dean." Sam agreed. "Don't worry, we're going to find it."

▫️▫️▫️

Bobby sat in a chair at the end of Nadia's bed, watching Rufus hold her hand as he stared at her beautiful face.

He kissed her hand for the hundreth time, before tracing circles with his thumb.

"Can you believe it, Bobby?" His eyes watered, only for him to swallow them down. "My baby, an angel."

Bobby might have been flabbergasted, but at the same time Nadia being an angel made sense.

"Yeah, I can believe it." Bobby smiled a bit. "Nadia she's brave and a hardass like her father." Bobby made Rufus laugh.

"But she's strong and she's got a big heart. Trust me, I've met an angel, they aren't all chucked up to be what you think. This world, this world needs someone like Nadia."

Rufus nodded at that taking Bobby's word for it. He looked back at his daughter, a question popping in his head.

What was going on in her head?

▫️▫️

Nadia stood in the middle of a street, completely barefoot.

Her hair was wavy and went past her shoulders. She wore a white dress that had two spaghetti straps that crossed in the back.

The sky was cloudy and there was not one human, one building or even a house in sight.

Just the road and Nadia.

"Hello?!" She yelled in confusion, circling around. "Is anyone here?!"

She didn't get an answer, causing her to clench her fist in annoyance.

All she remembered was getting stabbed, laying on the ground feeling her blood drain from her body and then everything went black.

And then suddenly she appeared here.

"Where am I?" She mumbled to herself.

A creaking sound filled her ears and she turned around to see a door a few feet away from her, down the road.

Through the door way, she couldn't see anything, only a bright light.

She gulped and her heart started to race.

Was she really dead?

Just because she thought it was the end, doesn't mean she wanted it to be.

Nadia looked around in hopes of a person appearing, or maybe a house, something!

Doors were never a good sign.

Having no choice but the door, she just stared at it for a moment.

"Just do it." She told her self. "Just do it."

It took a moment but she finally took one step and began walking toward it. The light got brighter the closer she got, causing her to squint.

Without even thinking, she stepped through the door.

Everything was just a white blur until she took that last step and entered a green field.

The sky was no longer cloudy but bright and blue. The sun shined on her dark skin and there was a perfect wind that blew through her hair.

There was a feeling of peace that came over her and she couldn't help but smile as she held out her hands and looked up to the sky with her eyes closed.

Nadia looked down at her feet, feeling the green grass through her toes.

"What is this place?" She said out loud.

"Peaceful here, isn't it?" Said a very familiar voice.

A voice that almost tried to kill her last time she saw the person.

Nadia slowly turned around, looking the person in the eye. "Mom."
