Part Two

There's an expression, deja vu, that means that you feel like you've been somewhere before, that you've somehow already dreamed it or experienced it in your mind. ~Neil Gaiman

"Of course I want to help however I can." Said the physiologist to Sam and Dean.

Nadia and the boys where currently in the missing Anna Milton's room, located in the psych ward.

While the boys were talking to the physiologist, Nadia was looking around the room for clues, her high heeled boots clicking against the white tile floor.

There was a presence the room had. A presence she had felt before. It was overwhelming, yet calming.

A presence that felt so familiar, so at home. It made her feel like she was a little girl again and she just didn't know why.

It wasn't like she had been to this hospital before but more like there was a connection to the patient that had been here, Anna.

Dean eyed Nadia in worry, noticing her eyes were closed.

It was like she was trying to remember something but she couldn't.

Her brown eyes opened slowly, making eye contact with Dean.

"You okay?" He mouthed.

She only nodded, walking back to join the conversation.

Sam slid his hands into his slack pockets and asked the Psychologist, "Now, the orderly has no recollection of Anna's escape?"

Every time Nadia heard Anna's name, her brained ached trying to remember but she shook her head ignoring it.

"Apparently, she knocked him unconscious." The Psychologist informed them. "The blow caused some amnesia. He doesn't even remember coming into her room."

Dean raised his eyebrows in surprise. "That's a hell of a right hook to knock out a guy that's got 80 pounds on her."

"We think she may have planned this, waited behind the door." She pointed to the back of the door before walking out of the room.

"Right." Sam followed after her into the hall with Dean behind him. "Uh, you mentioned Anna's illness was recent."

Nadia took one last look around the room before following after Dean.

"Two months ago, she was happy, well-adjusted, journalism major, lots of friends. Bright future."

Nadia crossed her arms over her chest. "So, what happened? She just. . . flipped?"

The Psychologist gave a sad smile. "Well, that's the tragedy of schizophrenia. Within weeks, Anna was overtaken by delusions."

"What kind of delusions?" Sam questioned.

"She thought demons were everywhere." She pulled a sketchbook from under her clipboard and gave it to Sam.

"Interesting." Said Dean as Nadia took the sketchbook and began flipping through it.

"It's not uncommon for our patients to believe that monsters are real."

Dean gave a smirk. "Well, that, that's just batty."

Nadia turns the pages and they see some meaningful sketches.

On one page it says 'Raising of the Witnesses' on the next page 'Samhain the next seal is broken'.

"That's Revelations." Nadia looked up at the boys who were just as shocked at her.

"Since when does the Book of Revelations have jack-o'-lanterns?" The Psychologist asked.

Dean chuckled lightly, "It's a, uh, it's a little-known translation."

She nodded slightly. "Ah. . .Well, Anna's father was a church deacon. When she became ill, her paranoia took on religious overtones. She was convinced the devil was about to rise up and end the world. I hope you find her. It's dangerous for her to be out there alone right now."

While the boys gave a nod, Nadia slowly closed the sketchbook the name Anna ringing in her head in a child like voice.

After leaving the psychiatric hospital, Nadia and the boys drove over to Anna's parent's house to see if they had any idea where she could be.

They climbed the porch steps, approaching the door.

On the side was a plaque that read the Milton's.

Dean knocked on the door.

Minutes passed and no one answered.

"Maybe they're not home." He said.

Sam looked at the driveway. "Both cars in the driveway."

Nadia tries the door to find it unlocked. She looked back at the boys and Sam nodded for her open it.

After she did, she let Sam in first.

The boys never liked her to go inside anywhere first for safety reasons though she could handle her own.

Nadia followed Sam inside while Dean followed behind her.

"Mr. And Mrs. Milton?" She called out. "We're from the sheriff's department. We just wanted to ask you a couple of questions."

As Dean closes the front door, Sam and Nadia stopped in the entrance way of the living room to see Anna's parents lying dead on the floor, both their throats cut.

Dean's jaw dropped when he saw while Sam let out a sad sigh.

They walked over to the bodies and Sam kneels down to check the powder substance on the floor.

He sniffs it only to recoil from the horrendous smell.

"Sulfur." He rubs it off his fingers. "The demons beat us here. Whatever the deal is with this Anna girl-"

"Yeah, they want her." Dean finishes his sentence. "They're not screwing around. All right, so,"

He sighed, going over to pick up some addressed envelopes.

"I'm Girl, Interrupted, and I know the score of the apocalypse, just busted out of the nut-box. . ."

He starts looking through the mail as Nadia goes over to look at pictures. "Possibly using superpowers, by the way. Where do I go?"

Nadia stares in shock, the red headed girl in the picture looking very familiar. She closed her eyes, hearing the voices again.

"Hi, I'm Anna." Said a sweet voice. "And you're Nadia."

"How do you know my name?"

"Lets just say, I'm your guardian Angel and I was once friends with someone very close to you."

She felt someone touch her shoulder and jumped in fear, dropping the picture.

The sound of the frame clashing to the floor caused her to jump again.

"Nadia. Nadia you okay?" Dean held her arms, worriedly looking at her with Sam.

"Yeah, you've been quiet since we left the hospital." Added Sam.

She shook her head, panicing.

"No, I'm not. I don't know what it is but I think I know this girl. I don't know how or when we met but we did. When we are at the hospital it was like I felt her presence from when she was there, the presence was familiar."

She looked down trying to get her thoughts together. "It was like I had been around it before."

The boys frowned at one another.

Nadia looked up at them, her eyes watery. "Am I going crazy?"

"No, no of course not." Dean rubbed her back. "It just means there's more pieces to the puzzle and we need to find this Anna."

"Yeah," Sam agreed. "You got those sketches from Anna's notebook?"

"Yeah." She looked at him skeptically.

For some reason she felt very protective over the drawings.

"Let me see 'em." Sam held his hand out, noticing how reluctant she was. "Don't worry. I'll give them back."

Nadia nodded and took them out of her pocket

The brothers exchanged a glance as Sam took the drawings.

"Check this out." Sam picks out a drawing of a stained-glass window, pointing to it.

Dean looks at it in thought while Nadia said, "She was drawing the window of her church."

"Over and over." Sam nodded. "If you were religious, scared, and had demons on your ass, where would you go to feel safe?"

▫▫▫

With their guns drawn, the boys climbed the stairs making their way to the church attic with Nadia behind them.

They tried to get her to bring her gun, just in case something happened but for the first time Nadia couldn't bring herself to do it.

Just standing outside she felt the presence again, that presence that always made her feel safe.

They made it to the top of the stairs, cautiously looking around.

From what they saw, the attic was empty.

Suddenly Nadia pushed through the two noticing a shadow behind a pillar that looked similar to the church window drawing in the sketch book.

"Guys." She nodded toward the hiding person.

The boys put their guns away, watching Nadia take a step forward.

"Anna? We're not gonna to hurt you."

To her surprise, the redheaded girl came from behind the pillar, looking straight at Nadia.

She too had the same look of astonishment on her face that Nadia had.

She walked over to Nadia standing in front of her.

"N-nadia?" Anna said her name.

Nadia nodded and Anna was surprised that she got it right for she didn't know why she knew it.

The two girls squinted at one another.

"Do I know you?" They asked in unison, causing each other to back up a bit.

It was at this point that something was really weird about all of this.

It was like Deja vu.

This was there first time meeting, yet in their hearts and their minds they knew they had met before.

"We're here to help." Nadia told her. "This is Sam and this is his brother, Dean."

Anna reluctantly broke her gaze from Nadia looking up at the taller Winchester. "Sam? Not Sam Winchester?"

"Uh, yeah." Sam nodded.

She looked at Dean.

"And you're Dean. The Dean?"

Dean raised his eyebrows, shrugging.

"Well, yeah. The Dean, I guess." He gave an arrogant smile causing Sam to roll his eyes.

"It's really you." She said in disbelief as she walked closer to them.

"Oh, my god. The angels talk about you. You were in Hell, but Castiel pulled you out, and some of them think you can help save us."

She looked at Sam. "And some of them don't like you at all."

She lastly looked at Nadia, "I don't think you could even fathom what they say about you. Some actually admire you, while others are afraid of. . .what you could become."

Nadia frowned. "What does that mean?"

To her dismay, Anna didn't answer her question already feeling like she was saying too much.

"They talk about you all the time lately. I feel like I know you."

"So, you talk to angels?" Nadia asked.

Anna shyly looked down. "Oh, no. No, no way. Um, they probably don't even know I exist. I just kind of. . . overhear them."

"You overhear them?" Sam repeated.

"Yeah, they talk, and sometimes I just. . .hear them in my head."

"Like. . . right now?" Dean asked her.

She shook her head. "Not right this second, but a lot. And I can't shut them out, there are so many of them."

Nadia felt angry as she said, "So, they lock you up with a case of the crazies when really you were just. . . tuning in to angel radio?"

"Yes." Anna smiled in appreciation. "Thank you."

Nadia nodded, "You're welcome."

"Anna, when did the voices start?" Sam asked. "Do you remember?"

"I can tell you exactly: September 18th."

Both Nadia and Sam looked at Dean who said. "The day I got out of Hell."

"First words I heard, clear as a bell: Dean Winchester is saved. Right before I heard: The Nadia Turner has found our savior."

"You heard that?" Nadia asked in shock. "Why? I mean, I just- I'm just-"

"I can't say much." Anna shook her head. "When it comes to you, it's a debate on what you should or shouldn't know but just trust me when I say, you are more important than you think."

Nadia looked down, so many questions racing through her head. So many she knew she wasn't going to get answers to.

"What do you think?" Dean asked the two.

Sam shrugged. "It's above my pay grade, man."

"Well, at least now we know why the demons want you so bad." Nadia looked up, scoffing.

"They get a hold of you, they can hear everything the other side's cooking. You're 1-900-angel." She joked causing Anna to chuckle.

Anna suddenly got serious. "Hey, um, do you know. . .are my parents okay? I-I didn't go home. I was afraid."

Before either of the three could give her the bad news, Ruby suddenly entered the attic.

"You got the girl. Good, let's go."

Anna let out a scream of fear, stepping back. "Her face!"

"It's okay." Sam held his hand out cautiously. "She's here to help."

"Yeah, don't be so sure." Dean and Nadia said in unison glaring at the demon.

"We have to hurry." Said Ruby.

"Why?" Nadia placed her hands on her hips.

"Because a demon's coming, big timer. We can fight later, Nadia."

Nadia chuckled a bit. "Well, that's pretty convenient showing up right when we find Anna with some bigwig on your tail?"

"I didn't bring him here." Ruby objected. "You did."

"What?" Dean frowned.

"He followed you from the girl's house. We got to go now."

Sam looked over at the statue of Mary, pointing. "Guys."

They all look over to see the statue crying blood.

"It's too late." Said Ruby with a look of fear in her eyes. "He's here."

Instantly Nadia takes Anna by the hand and hides her in a closet. She almost felt like it was her duty to protect her, like she owed her.

"Okay. Stay in there. Don't move." She told her.

"Okay." Anna nodded.

As Nadia walked back over to the group, Sam takes out a flask of holy water.

Ruby shakes her head. "No, Sam, you got to pull him right away."

"Whoa, hold on a sec." Dean frowned.

"Now's not the time to bellyache about Sam going darkside." Ruby glared at him. "He does his thing, he exorcises that demon, or we die."

Sam eyes the three of them before putting the flask back away.

Knowing Dean didn't like what was about to happen, Nadia slid her hands in his in attempt to comfort him.

While he wasn't happy about Sam, she wasn't happy about Ruby.

Both of them were screwed at the moment.

The attic door busted opened and a demon possessing an older man enters.

He rubbed his hands together as if he was getting ready to kick ass and stood right in front of Sam.

The younger Winchester puts his hand up to try and exorcise the demon but the demon only lets out a pathetic cough as his eyes turn white and then to back to normal.

"That tickles." He chuckled. "You don't have the juice to take me on, Sam."

With one flick of his hand, he throws Sam right down the attic steps.

Dean takes out ruby's knife and tries to stab him but the demon grabs his hand, fighting against him.

"Hello again, Dean." He smiled evilly at the Winchester before slamming him against the wall.

Anna's scream grabs Nadia's attention and she turns around to see Ruby getting her out of the closet.

She quickly goes over, grabbing Ruby by the arm. "Where do you think you're taking her?"

"Somewhere safe, before it's too late." Ruby spat back.

"Not without me, you're not." Nadia gritted her teeth.

"Well I suggest you bend your knees."

Nadia frowned and before she could say anything the three of them suddenly teleported.
