"I'm telling you, I'm more of a gun guy, I'm just not good at this." Dean made Nadia roll her eyes.

"Dude, it's not that hard. You just need to focus." She watched him take a sip of his beer as she flipped the blade in her hand.

Her and the boys were at a bar, hanging out. Sam was playing pool, giving the two time to actually spend time with each other which was rare.

Between killing monsters, and having Sam around it seem the two were never able to really enjoy each other's presence.

Though they weren't officially together and were taking things slow, it was fun just hanging out.

There wasn't any pressure, just them at their table in the corner of a bar, drinking beer, talking and Nadia trying to show Dean how to get a bullseye with a blade.

"Come on, try again." She grabbed his hand, pulling him in front of the dart board. "You are Dean Winchester, you've been through hell and back you can do anything." She put the blade in his palm.

Dean cleared his throat, wiggling his arms and cracking his neck, focusing.

"Alright lets do this."

"Okay," Nadia stood behind him, lifting his arm. Dean looked back at her, smirking. "Buy me a drink first, would you?"

"Shut up." She chuckled, turning his head forward.

"Focus on the bullseye. You don't pull your whole arm all the way back, just your forearm. So when you snap it forward, it should be your forearm that goes straight which gives you a nice clean throw, okay?"

"Alright." Dean nodded as she backed away.

He stared right at the bullseye, even squinting a little trying to focus so hard.

He did as he was told, bending back his firearm before snapping it back straight, letting the blade go.

The blade hit the bottom of the dart board and he scoffed. "Come on, seriously?"

Nadia couldn't help but. laugh.

"Hey, maybe you are just a gun guy." She patted him on the shoulder before going over to take the knife out of the board.

Dean sat back at the table as she turned her back to the board, walking a few feet away.

"Who taught you how to throw knives anyways?" Dean picked up his beer. "Your Dad?"

"No." Nadia answered.

She took a deep breath, and turned around, tossing the knife at the board and hitting the bullseye, again.

"A guy I met." She smiled at her work.

"Just a guy?" Dean raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah." Nadia raised an eyebrow right back at the Winchester. "Just a guy."

"Fair enough." Dean held his beer bottle to his lips before drinking some. "Can I ask you something?"

Nadia walked over to the dart board, "Yeah sure?"

"You remember when we were talking about getting what you want and us being miserable. You said - you said guys make you miserable and obviously I know you were referring to me. So, do I really make you miserable?"

Nadia pulled her knife out of the board, slowly turning around to look at him. "Of course not."

She walked over to the table, leaning on it so they we were face. "I wouldn't be here if you did. Why would you ask me that?"

He placed his beer down, leaning his arms on the table, "Just wondering, you know? I know I was a dick in our argument but that-"

"Still doesn't make it right that I said you make me miserable cause you don't. I was just upset and I'm sorry. Plus, I know you were just being Dean."

"Being Dean." He scoffed. "What the hell is that suppose to mean?"

"Exactly what I said." She spat back with an attitude playfully.

"Again, fair enough."

Dean leaned on his fist as if he was a teenage boy daydreaming. "You know I never get tired of seeing that smile."

"Oh really?"

"Or hear you laugh, see you kick ass, hear you tell me off, add your personality and you're the whole package. Makes me wonder," He grabbed her hand and held on to it. "What do you see in me?"

Nadia blushed as their fingers intertwined, "Well besides the fact in my eyes, you're imperfectly perfect. . .I don't know with you. . .I feel-"

"Hey, no way you won!" They heard a familiar voice yell.

They looked right over at Sam, who was obviously drunk.

The younger Winchester dug through his pockets planning to get more money for another game.

"Damn it, Sammy." Dean sighed as he pulled his hand out of Nadia's.

It seemed every time she was about to express her feelings to him, something always happens and messes it up.

"I'm sorry, we should go." Dean got out of his seat.

"No, it's fine." Nadia gave a small smile. "It was good while it lasted."

"Yeah." Dean looked at her sadly.

"I'll get Sammy, you pay for the drinks. Wallets in my jacket pocket on the inside."

Nadia nodded and Dean made his way over to Sam.

After sliding her knife into her holster on her hip, she grabbed her jacket, hanging it on her arm.

She then grabs Dean's jacket, getting his wallet.

After laying down a few bills, she walks over to the boys, where Sam is not being very obedient.

"Hey, shut up, Dean." The younger Winchester spat at his brother as he placed the pool balls in the triangle. "I'm fine."

"No, you're not fine." Dean spat right back. "You're drunk!"

"Let's make it five hundred." Sam's bet caused Dean's eyes to widen.

"Five hundred?"

"Sure." The guy shrugged as Sam puts the money down on the pool table.

Dean gave a look of disbelief, watching the guy pick up the triangle and put it to the side.

"Five hundred. Your break."

While the guy is looking down, Sam raises his eyebrows at Dean and Nadia who had walked closer to the table, standing beside Dean.

For a second there's no trace of drunkenness in his eyes.

Dean raises his eyebrows at Sam while Nadia smiles realizing Sam wasn't drunk at all, he was scamming the guy.

The two watched Sam break, sinking several balls.

He looked up and from the corner of his eye he sees Ruby sitting at the bar.

"Keep the money." He said instantly putting his cue down and walked away.

"Keep the money?" Dean said in shock, his arms hanging out, like what the hell. "What -"

While Dean was confused, Nadia watched Sam and noticed Ruby.

She slammed her and Dean's jacket into his arms. "Hold this."

Nadia started stalking over and when Dean noticed Ruby he quickly followed the fuming girl.

"Well look who's here." Nadia smirked, placing her hands on her hips. "You got a lot of nerve showing up anywhere near me."

Ruby stood, glaring at Nadia.

The feeling of hate was very mutual between the two since their last encounter.

Dean pulled Nadia back by her waist as Ruby said, "I just have some info, and then I'm gone."

"What is it?" Sam asked, causing Dean to look away rolling his eyes.

"I'm hearing a few whispers."

"Ooh, great, demon whisperers, that's reliable." Dean said sarcastically.

Dean turned away for a sec before watching Sam actually listen to her.

"Girl named Anna Milton escaped from a locked ward yesterday. The demons seem pretty keen on finding her. Apparently, some real heavy hitters turned out for the Easter-egg hunt."

"Why?" Sam asked. "Who is she?"

"No idea. But I'm thinking that she's important, cause the order is to capture her alive. I just figured that whatever the deal is, you might want to find this girl before the demons do."

Sam thought for a moment before looking back at Nadia and Dean.

"Look, maybe we should check it out."

"Actually, we're working a case, but thanks." Dean shot her a fake smile.

"What case?" Ruby frowned.

"Uh, we've got leads, big leads."

"Sounds dangerous." She retorted sarcastically.

Dean shrugged. "Yeah, well, it sure ain't goose-chasing after some chick who, for all we know, doesn't even exist, just because you say she's important."

"I'm just delivering the news. You can do whatever you want with it. Far as I'm concerned, I told you, I'm done."

Ruby put her hands up in surrender getting ready to leave.

"Bye." Nadia waved happily.

Sam quickly grabbed Ruby's arm before she could leave.

"Wait, wait, wait. This hospital Anna escaped from -- it got a name?"

▫▫▫

To Dean's dismay, the trio was on the road, on their way to follow up on Ruby's lead.

With his hand on the wheel, Dean had a look of irritation on his face.

Sam was in the passenger seat, talking on the phone to check and make sure Ruby's intel was right.

In the backseat, Nadia sat there in thought. It might be the alcohol but she really wished she would have punched Ruby.

"Can I get a copy of the missing persons report?" Said Sam. "Great. Okay. Thanks."

Sam hangs up. "Well, Anna Milton's definitely real."

"Don't mean the case is real." Dean said skeptical. "And this hospital's a three-day drive."

"We've driven further for less, Dean."

Sam's words caused the older Winchester to shake his head.

Sam turned his head to Dean. "You got something to say, say it."

"Oh, I'm saying it- this sucks."

"You're not pissed we're going after the girl. You're pissed Ruby threw us the tip."

"Right." Said Dean. "Cause as far as you're concerned, the hell-bitch is practically family. Yeah, boy, something major must've happened while I downstairs, cause I come back, and - and you're BFF with a demon?"

Sam sighed, annoyed. "I told you, Dean, she helped me go after Lilith."

"Well, thanks for the thumbnail, real vivid. You want to fill in a little detail?"

"Sure, Dean, let's trade stories." Sam replied. "You first. How was Hell? Don't spare the details."

Dean shook his head, chuckling at how Sam made the conversation about him.

"Look," Nadia leaned on the front seat.

"I don't like demons, period point blank. Sam, I don't give a rats ass that she helped you, she's a demon, she's being nice now but a feeling in my gut is telling me she's got something planned. I mean ask yourself Sam, why would a demon actually want to help you? From your life story, a demon is what got you and your family in this life in the first place."

Sam looked forward, knowing Nadia was right but didn't say anything.

He had gotten close to Ruby when Dean was gone and believed that he could really trust her.

"But hey, I'm not judging." Nadia sighed. "Just watch your back."

She looked over at Dean. "And suck it up Batman, the bitch could be onto something. And if she isn't and this was a setup, I'll summon and kill her myself."

Nadia sat back and the boys kept their eyes forward, no one saying a word.
