Trauma comes back as a reaction, not a memory. ~ Bessel Van Der Kolk

"Whatever's outside, it can't get in this circle," Nadia explained, as Sam made a salt circle around the timid family.

"As long as the salt line is unbroken, this is the safest place to be."

"Safe from ghosts?" questioned Brian, who was still didn't believe what was going on.

Before Nadia could answer, Dean, who was poking the lit fireplace, looked back at him, "Yes, as a matter of fact."

"Okay. I'm not listening to this anymore. Come on." The father started to rally up his family members. "I got to get my family out of here. Let's go."

Dean stood, "nobody's going anywhere until we kill this thing."

"Sir, please." Sam stood in front of them, the younger Winchester as always, taking the sweet route.

"This is what we do. Just. . . trust us."

Nadia smiles, "better."

Rolling his eyes in disbelief, Ted turns away.

"You saw her outside, right?" Sam moved on. He stands next to Kate as he pulled out the photos. "Does she look like either one of the girls?"

"Her," Kate points to the girl in the headshot photo. "She was paler and a lot dirtier, but that was her."

"That's the girl in the walls," chimed in Danny.

Surprised, Sam looks at Dean and Nadia, "so, it's the daughter?"

"That girl in the picture—She-She's dead?" Susan asks.

"She killed herself inside this house." Nadia's answer intensified the fear weighing over the family.

Dean takes her and Sam to the side. "So, what. The maid got her story wrong? Rebecca wasn't cremated?"

"Unless her spirit's just attached to something inside the house." hypothesized Sam.

"She hung herself in the attic, right?" Nadia asks.

Sam nods, "you want to babysit? I'll check it out."

The couple gives him the green light with a shrug and a nod. Nadia especially didn't want to find whatever creepy thing could possibly be in the attic.

"Look," Ted approaches them, having been listening to their conversation. "I don't care who hung themselves where. Maybe something is going on here, but—"

"It's a spirit, man," Dean explains.

"No," Ted argues. "It's just some backwoods hillbilly bitch, and I'm not about to sit around here waiting for her to go all 'Deliverance' on my ass."

"Well, nobody's leaving the house."

"Stop me," Ted challenges.

He goes for the door, and Dean grabs him by the arm, pushing him against the wall.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Brian steps to get involved, but Sam blocks his way.

"Listen, man," Dean says lowly. "I've got a gun. You don't get your ass back in that circle, you're gonna have yourself a third hole."

He releases Ted, who goes back to the circle.

Sam and Nadia go over to Dean with frowns.

"Yeah," scoffed Nadia.

Sam nods in agreement, but at the same time, was worried about Dean.

He didn't want what Dean was going through to interfere with what was going on.

He looks at Nadia, who nods for him to go, "I got him."

Sam heads to the attic, leaving the couple with the family.

"You alright?" Nadia asked Dean.

While Sam was searching through the attic, everyone stayed put in the living room.

Holding pokers, Dean and Nadia were in the salt circle with the family, pacing casually.

Both were on edge for completely two different reasons, however.

On top of what he was dealing with, this case didn't put him any more at ease.

And being in the haunted house was definitely keeping Nadia on her toes.

Of course, Ted, who still didn't believe they were dealing with a ghost, had to start talking.

"Knock it off, Ted," Susan snaps, just as annoyed by her brother.

With a sly smirk, Ted crosses his arms over his chest. Nadia rolls her eyes at him.

There always had to be a douchebag.

Taking the high road, Dean doesn't reply.

But the silence doesn't last a second before they hear an eery creak.

"Shh," Susan sits up.

"What was that?" asked a fearful Kate with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Nadia and Dean exchange a look and scan the room with everybody else.

Their faces fall when they notice the girl in the walls, coming out of a closet.

While Ted stands there, Brian, Susan, Kate, and Danny gather together in the corner.

Nadia and Dean stand beside each other, watching the girl slowly walk toward them.

"All right, everybody stay calm," says Dean. "She's a ghost. She can't come in the circle."

It wasn't until she was right on the edge of the circle that she proved the group otherwise. A knife fell from her sleeve and into her palm, and then she stepped over the salt line.

The family gasps horrified.

"They can't," Dean pulled a gulping Nadia behind him. "She's not a ghost."

"Robin," says Dean. "Get them out of here."

Nadia turns to the family and starts directing them to the front door. "Alright, go, go, get out of here!" She follows the family outside as a fight ensues between Dean and the girl.

The girl screamed at the top of her lungs like an animal. And slashed at the Winchester with her knife. He managed to avoid her attacks until the two got caught using their strength against each other.

With the knife above him, Dean struggling to push her arm away. She tosses him to the floor, and before she could strike, Nadia comes in, bum-rushing her.

The two girls crashed to the floor and began grappling around for dominance. She straddles Nadia, punches her in the face, and grabs the knife.

Nadia lets out a yelp, feeling the tip of the knife pierce right through her shoulder blade. She grabs the girl's arms, pushing the knife out of before it can go any deeper.

Luckily, Sam comes in and stops the girl.

"Hey!" he aimed his flashlight on her.

She screeches, covers herself from the light, and disappears into the closet.

Sam cautiously goes to the closet to see how she managed to vanish.

Nadia sighs of relief, clutching her bleeding shoulder blade.

"Hey, hey, you okay?" Dean quickly goes to help her up.

"No," she pulls away from him, furious. "That bitch almost gutted me. Come on, we gotta get this family out of here."

The boys fall her outside, where they're approached by Brian, who asks, "hey. You okay?"

"Where is everybody?" Dean asks him.

"Hiding."

"All right, go get them," Dean pats him on the arm." Go. Go get them."

Brian does as he says, leaving the three.

"So, it's not a ghost," Nadia grimaced, wiping the blood from her shoulder.

Dean pulls her jacket back to take a look, and though annoyed, she lets him.

"So, it's just a girl?" Sam asks.

"It's not just a girl," Nadia scoffs.

"Yeah, it's psycho, Nell. "I'm telling you, man—humans," Dean shakes his head. "It's not too deep, you should be fine," he assures Nadia, who nods.

"So who is she, then?" Sam questions.

"I don't know," shrugged Dean. "Maybe it's the daughter, Rebecca. Maybe she didn't hang herself."

"No way," Nadia knew better. "She'd have to be like fifty years old by now."

"Well, I don't know," Dean was stumped.

"I wish you'd found a howitzer," Dean made them chuckle. "Listen, we got to get this family safe. I mean, it's just a human, so they can make a run for it. We just got to hold her off."

"We're okay," says Susan, returning with everybody else except Danny and Ted.

"Danny! Ted! We got to go!" Brian yells for the two.

"I'm good!" Ted comes from the side out of the house with a flashlight.

"Danny!" yelled Susan. "Come on!"

"Danny, buddy, we got to go!" Brian tried again.

"Told you, it was some crazy bitch," said an arrogant Ted.

"Yeah, you did," Nadia shrugged and snapped at him. "You want a freaking cookie?."

The boys look at her, gesturing for her to calm down.

"I'm sorry I hate haunted houses. Even worse, when its an actual human doing the haunting," she seethed, clutching her shoulder in discomfort.

"But you're a hunter," frowned Sam.

"Says the one who has a fear of clowns," Nadia shoots back.

Sam looks at Dean, his jaw dropped, "you told her that?"

Dean smiles innocently, and Nadia rolls her eyes, looking at the family.

"Head to town, and we'll take it from here, okay?"

Unfortunately, though, Danny hadn't come out from hiding.

"Danny, come on, baby!" yelled Susan. "We're leaving!"

"Danny, we got to go!" called Brian.

Fear took over the parents as they realized that something was wrong.

"Brian, where—Where is he?" Susan asked her husband.

But he didn't answer.

All the father could scream was: "Danny!"
