The Winchester brothers stood in front of Bobby, a look of astonishment on their faces while Nadia was now pacing back and forth, trying to process the new information Bobby has just told them.

"Apocalypse?" Dean questioned. "The apocalypse, apocalypse? The four horsemen, pestilence, $5-a-gallon-gas apocalypse?"

"That's the one," Bobby confirmed. "The rise of the witnesses is a mile marker."

Trying not to freak out, Nadia sighed, her pacing coming to a halt. "Okay, so, what do we do now?"

Dean scoffed, going back over to his seat. "Road trip. Grand Canyon, Star Trek Experience." He clapped, before clicking his tongue. "Bunny Ranch."

Nadia shook her head at him and Bobby says, "First things first. How about we survive our friends out there?"

Dean turned in his seat. "Great. Any ideas aside from staying in this room until Judgment Day?"

"It's a spell," Bobby hit his pencil against the page he got the information from. "To send the witnesses back to rest. Should work."

Nadia walked over to look at the book as Sam let out a chuckle, saying, "Should. Great."

"If I translate it correctly." Bobby continued, sitting back in his chair. "I think I got everything we need here at the house."

"Any chance you got everything we need here in this room?" Dean asked, hopeful.

Nadia turned to him, frowning a bit. "So, you thought our luck was gonna start now all of a sudden?"

The room got quiet and the three men just looked at her taken aback.

Realizing how harsh that sounded, she sighed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you, I'm just a little overwhelmed, right now. I just got attacked by mother, and now the apocalypse is starting, so. . ."

Dean nodded understanding.

Usually Nadia was on her own. Every time she saved a life, she went back to the road and at least got a break before she went to her next job but this was different.

Everything has been happening so fast, one problem after another. Usually, she was strong and could handle being overwhelmed, but what happened with her mother has brought her back to that dark place, making her pretty irritable.

She rubbed the back of her neck, looking at Bobby. "What do we need?"

Moving on, Bobby stood and walked over to the arsenal on the wall. "Spell's got to be cast over an open fire."

"The fireplace in the library," Sam stated.

"Bingo," Bobby replied.

Dean clicked his tongue, furrowing his eyebrows. "That's just not as appealing as a, uh, ghost-proof panic room, you know?"

No one replied, giving the fact they were thinking the same exact thing.

The group begins to scatter around, preparing to leave the room.

Nadia finished loading a shotgun, before turning around.

"Batman."

She called Dean who then turned around.

She tossed him his gun and he caught it.

After picking up hers, Bobby passes Sam the book containing the spell.

"Cover each other," Bobby instructed as they walked to the door. "And aim careful. Don't run out of ammo until I'm done, or they'll shred you."

The trio nodded, understanding his directions.

"Ready?" Bobby asked.

They gave another nod and with his shotgun in hand, Bobby slowly opened the door.

Sam, being the one in the front, slowly stepped out with his shotgun aiming in front of him.

Nadia slowly followed after him with Dean behind her, both aiming their weapons.

As they made their way toward the stairs, they cautiously looked around, making sure no ghosts appeared.

Hitting the stairs, Dean is the first one to notice a ghost sitting right on the steps. He was a young, heavy set guy with curly hair. He was at least in his 20's when he was alive.

Being notified by Dean, the group looked and noticed him.

"Hey, Dean." The ghost talked to the older Winchester. "You remember me?"

Dean's mouth fell open, as he got a flashback of the guy.

His lips curved into a smile. "Ronald, huh? With the laser eyes?"

Suddenly a shot rang out, and Ronald disappeared. The three men looked down at Nadia, the culprit.

She looked at Dean, a hard look in her eyes. "If you're gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk."

With that, she stomped up the stairs, leading the way. The guys just watched her in surprise.

Dean couldn't help but smile, a oddly turned on.

He followed after her with Sam and Bobby.

As soon as they got upstairs, Nadia stood guard while Sam made a salt circle.

Bobby started setting everything up at his desk and Dean lit the fireplace up.

"Upstairs, linen closet, red hex box," Bobby instructed Sam after he finished with the salt. "It'll be heavy."

"Got it." Said Sam before going upstairs.

Suddenly two twin girls appeared, looking right at Bobby.

"Bobby." One of them called his name, grabbing their attention.

Nadia didn't even hesitate to take the shot.

Bobby looked at Dean.

The girls reappear as Dean leaves for the kitchen. Nadia shoots them while Bobby is drawing with chalk on the desk.

Shots from upstairs rang in her ears as she stood guard, waiting for more to appear. Suddenly the doors to the kitchen slide shut.

"Dean!" She yelled, running up the door.

"I'm good, Robin. Cover Bobby!"

Reluctantly, she turned around, jumping at the sight of her mother.

"I'm not done with you." Her mother gritted her teeth.

"I beg to differ." Nadia cocked her gun and fired.

Dean's agonizing screams from behind the door, filled her eardrums.

She turned around.

"Dean!" She tried to open the doors but they wouldn't budge.

Taking the long way, she walked past the foyer to get around to the kitchen where Henriksen had his fist in Dean's chest.

She shot at him.

Once he was gone she ran over to Dean who fell to the ground, groaning.

"You all right?"

He held his chest, panting. "No."

"Let's go." She helped him to his feet.

With the ingredients in her hand, she walked over to the door which Dean opened, just as Sam was coming in with the heavy box.

Dean helped him out, holding one side and the trio brought all the supplies to Bobby's desk.

Leaving Bobby to do the spell, they turned getting ready to start shooting.

Ronald appeared and Dean smirked at him, while he reloaded his shotgun. "Ronald. Hey, come on, man. I thought we were pals."

Ronald gave him the death stare. "That's when I was breathing. Now I'm gonna eat you alive."

His words caused the handsome Winchester to smile. "Well. . .come on, I'm not a cheeseburger."

Dean cocks his gun and points it at Ronald, but to his dismay, Ronald had vanished.

Dean looked around, gazing at Sam and Nadia who both had their weapons in hand, waiting for more of the ghosts to pop up.

Behind his desk, Bobby recites the spell and the windows suddenly blow open, a hard wind filling the room.

The wind moves the salt so they are no longer protected by it and Meg instantly appears. Sam quickly shoots at her and Bobby continues to recite the spell.

Bullet shells are falling to the ground, shots are ranging out through the house, guns are being reloaded and the ghosts just keep coming.

As Dean is reloading, Henriksen appears and knocks his gun out of his hand. Dean grabs Bobby's gun and aims to shoot it, only for it to be empty.

Quickly tossing it down, he then picks up an iron rod and swings at Henriksen causing him to disappear.

Meg appears again and this time pushes Sam against the wall, trapping him there with a desk. Sam tries to push the desk away without success.

"Sam!" Dean called his younger brother, just as Nadia got flung across the room.

"Nadia!"

"Cover Bobby!" She tells him, grunting as she attempted to get up while her mother walked toward her.

Nadia looks up just in time for her mother to put her hand around her throat. "You ready to die?"

Meg appears behind Bobby and plunges her fist into his back.

Dean turned around to see Bobby groaning in pain.

"Dean!" He called on the Winchester just as the bowl slipped out of his hand.

Dean jumped to the floor, catching the bowl.

"Fireplace!"

Dean throws the bowl in the fire, which turns blue, causing a light to blast through the house as the group shields their eyes.

The ghosts disappear and Bobby drops to the floor while Nadia to let out coughs as oxygen filled her lungs again.

Sam pushed the desk off of him, before going to Bobby's side while Dean went to Nadia's.

Dean helped the girl to her feet, looking at worriedly. "You good?"

She nodded, relieved. They looked over at Bobby and Sam who also had a look of relief, glad that this was over.

Nadia sat on the trunk of her truck, looking up at the starry sky as she sipped on a beer.

She was utterly exhausted from the long day, but of course, her mind was just racing. If there was one thing in her life she always tried to forget, it was her mom.

What happened to her mother was something she always felt guilty about.

"You okay?" Dean's voice brought her out of her thoughts.

She looked into his green eyes that were beaming in the moonlight as he sat down next to her, his own beer in his hand.

"Uh, yeah." She nodded. "My Dad texted, it was vague but he's alright. So. . .that's good."

"I didn't ask you about your Dad. I asked if you were okay."

Dean's question took her by surprise. No one ever really asked her that.

"I'm not okay." She looked down. "But I will be."

"Your mother." Dean ran his fingers up and down his bottle. "What happened to her? If you don't mind me asking."

Nadia didn't say anything for a while. She hadn't talked about this with anyone, not even her Dad. It was just something that happened in her life, that she practically pretended didn't happen.

"She got possessed by a demon when I was six. I saw it with my own eyes."

She looked at Dean who was already looking at her. "She was driving me to school. It was a hot day so the windows were down. We were at this red light and suddenly black smoke just came and shoved its self down her throat."

Her eyes watered.

"I'll never forget those black eyes that looked at me with such arrogance. It was about to ruin my life, and it had no remorse. It killed so many of my friends and their parents, and it would bring me along, so I could listen to the screams. Every time she planned play dates, it was to kill them and I knew that but I didn't say anything because she was going to kill my Dad."

Tears streamed down her cheeks.

"My Mom technically was already gone, at least that what's I thought and I couldn't lose my Dad either, I was already losing my friends. My father, god, he was so blind, he didn't notice a thing. I guess it felt like I hadn't suffered enough but it decided it was going to kill my Dad anyway. Told me to my face, it was going to make me watch but I couldn't let that happen, I had to say something and I did. Right after I watched it beat my dad until his face was blue, it stabbed my mother right in the chest and it left."

She began to just break down.

"It left like it was nothing. When it left, my mom was back, she was there all along but she was trapped in her mind because I didn't say something sooner. My father, bleeding and bruised watched her die with me. All these years, I've tried to run away from that because I can't help but to think, I should have just said something sooner."

"Hey, hey, hey." Dean placed his beer down, behind him. "It's not your fault, Robin."

He wiped her tears with the back of his finger. "You were a kid, you were scared, you're not at fault for that."

She sniffled, listening to him.

"Look, those spirits we dealt with, they weren't real. Since I've met you, you've impressed me more than once. You are one of the most bad ass women I ever met." He made her laugh. "You handle your own and you're strong. I'm sure your mother is proud of you."

"You think so?"

"Hell yeah." He smirked. "She wouldn't want you to hold on to this, you have to let it go."

Knowing that he was right, she licked her lips, looking away.

"You know, I wanted to start hunting because of her? I couldn't save her, so now I do my best to save everyone else. Saving people, its who I am, it's what helps me get through."

Nadia let out a sigh. "But you're right, I need to let it go and you should do the same."

He furrowed his eyebrows at her. "What do you mean?"

"When we were talking about angels being real. You couldn't believe an angel pulled you out because of the things you did it in the past. You have to let that go. Unfortunately, for the both of us, we can't dwell on the past, we have bigger problems now."

"Tell me about it." Dean grabbed his beer, taking a sip. "The freaking apocalypse, can you believe it?"

"Like I said, if there's good, there's bad."

Dean scoffed, "Still don't get how much faith you have."

"Well believe it." She nudged his arm. "Think of this way Dean, I should be dead already."

Her sentence really grasped his attention.

"I'm a hunter, the things that I see, the things I kill should have put me down a long time ago. I should have gotten killed or even be in an asylum for going nuts but I'm not. I'm still here because someone up there is looking out for me. While I save lives, someone's watching and protecting me. You should be dead, I mean, Dean you went to hell but because you mean something you got pulled out. It might be hard to believe but it's not rock science."

She narrowed her eyes at him. "So, get your head out of your ass and believe for once, would you?"

Dean sat there, surprised at her tough love speech.

"Nice talk." She stood, about to go back inside the house.

"Wait," Dean called her.

She turned around to look at him. "Yeah?"

"You said because you couldn't save your mom, you save everyone else. When everything goes to crap, who's going to save you? Who's going to be your superhero?"

Nadia thought for a moment. "I don't know. I never thought of that. Guess, we'll have to see, huh?"

Dean's lips curved into a smirk. "Yeah, guess we will."

Nadia bit her lip and turned away to go inside the house.

"Oh, and Robin," Dean walked to catch up with her. "If you need help working out that bruise. People tell me I've got magic fingers."

Nadia laughed as they walked side by side, "Is that so?"

Dean smiled innocently, "Just putting it out there."

"Here you go." Nadia passed Sam a plate of breakfast along with a mug of coffee.

She felt a lot better today, after her talk with Dean. She was ready to start fresh and get back to work.

Usually, when she visited her Dad's she cooked because she doesn't get to do it on the road, so today, she woke up early and made breakfast.

"Bobby doesn't have much, so I whipped up what I could." She told him as he eyed the delicious plate that consisted of pancakes, grits, and eggs.

As Sam dug into his plate, Nadia quickly went into the kitchen to grab hers along with her coffee. Since Bobby and Dean were still asleep, she put their food away.

She walked back into Bobby's study, where Sam was on the couch devouring his food while Dean was asleep on the floor with a blanket.

"You like it?" She asked Sam, sitting beside him.

"Yes! This is amazing." Sam complimented her food, making her smile. "And you made these pancakes from scratch?"

"Mhm." She nodded, digging into her own plate.

"Amazing!" Sam moaned.

Suddenly Dean caught their attention, jerking awake as if he had just come out of a bad dream.

Little did they know, he had actually just finished talking to Castiel in his dreams. Dean took a deep breath, rubbing his eyes.

"You all right?" Sam asked.

Dean said nothing, he just squinted in wonder.

"Hey, Batman, what's wrong?" Nadia asked, worriedly.

Dean let out an sigh. "So. . .You got no problem believing in. . . God and Angels?"

Sam and Nadia eyed one another before shaking their heads. "No, not really."

Dean tilted his head, still squinting. "So, I guess that means that you believe in the Devil."

Neither of the two answered, completely caught off guard by the question.

Sam frowned. ". . .Why are you asking us this?"
