(A/n):"So last chapter (Y/n) went through a bit of a slump as he was affect by the loss of his teammate, but thanks to his friends he managed to recover just a little from the event. What will happen next chapter? Let's find out now!"

3rd Pov
"Almost two weeks have passed and (Y/n) has gradually recovered little by little over the loss of Eric, he still keeps him in mind every now and then, but he still pushes through as he goes on missions doing what he can to make this world peaceful along with his friends. Right now (Y/n) is getting ready to go a mission with Lindow and Sakuya, and as he is ready to try out the Voltaic Chainsaw he's walking down the stairs Sakuya calls out for him."

Sakuya:"Hey (Y/n) come here for a sec."

(Y/n):"*Walks over to Sakuya* What's up Sakuya?"

Sakuya:"How are you doing? You doing alright?"

(Y/n):"Yeah I can't complain I'm doing pretty well. How about you?"

Sakuya:"I'm doing fine. I heard a bit talk going around."

(Y/n):"Oh yeah? Of who?"

Sakuya:"*Giggles* You of course."

(Y/n):"Wait me?*Points to himself*"

Sakuya:"*Nods* Mhmm I've heard from others God Eaters that you've been doing well."

(Y/n):"Oh! Ahh..it's nothing..

Sakuya:"Come now it can't be nothing if it's exceeding their expectations."

(Y/n):"*Blushes a bit and scratches the back of his head*"

Sakuya:"But I feel I should say this."

(Y/n):"Hmm?"

Sakuya:"Try not to push yourself too hard okay?"

(Y/n):"I won't..but where's this coming from?"

Sakuya:"I just wanted you to know. While your quick to adapt in the battlefield and that's great, but sadly all the past God Eaters died young."

(Y/n):"I see.(She's just looking out for me. That's nice of her.)"

Lindow:"Then I've got a nice long life ahead of me."

Sakuya:"Hey Lindow. Keeping executive's hours I see."

Lindow:"Well, I do an executive's amount of work. Also hey (Y/n)."

(Y/n):"Hey Lindow how's it going?"

Lindow:"It's going well. Nice to see your doing well."

(Y/n):"Heh yeah."

Lindow:"So who's ready for another fun day of God Eating?*He ask smiling*"

(Y/n):"*Smiles and Nods*(This is a bit exciting going a mission with Lindow and Sakuya.)"

Lindow:"All three of us are heading out on this next mission. I'll take the lead; Sakuya, you'll play back up."

Sakuya:"Got it."

(Y/n):"And what about me?"

Lindow:"You...will be our switch hitter. Take on the commando role and show us what a New Type can do."

(Y/n):"*Nods* U-uh right."

"Lindow checks the devise that was giving off the alarm only for Sakuya to speak up."

Sakuya:"Aaaanything else?"

Lindow:"*Puts the devise back in his pocket* Huh? Uh, yeah...Don't die out there."

Sakuya:"Inspiring and emotional as always, Boss. So charismatic."

(Y/n):"Heh heh.."

"As we go and get ourselves ready we meet Licca who's checking our God Arcs one last time before allowing us to take them."

(Y/n):"*Smiles* Hey Licca."

Licca:"*Turns around and sees (Y/n) and the others* Oh hey there (Y/n), Lindow, Sakuya. Just double checking to make sure your God Arcs are good to go."

Lindow:"Thanks Licca. Pretty sure we wouldn't get far without you."

Sakuya:"I have to agree with Lindow, you've been a great mechanic."

(Y/n):"*Nods*(I have to agree even though I haven't been here that long.)"

Licca:"*Smiles* Thanks though I'm just doing my part as a mechanic."

(Y/n):"Well even if you say that..still thank you."

Licca:*Blushes* Y-your welcome (Y/n). Well your God Arcs are ready so happy hunting you three."

Lindow:"*Pats your shoulder* Quite the charmer (Y/n)."

(Y/n):"Wait wha?"

Sakuya:"Impressive as always Leader, and rookie."

(Y/n):"(What the hell just happened?)"

"After that the three God Eaters went off  to handle their mission together."

- - - - - -Timeskip with Chibi (Y/n) and Kota watching Bugarally- - - - - -

"(Y/n), Lindow and Sakuya we now awaiting their orders to go out."

Hibari:"All right unit is in position. All God Eaters, be careful of your surroundings."

(Y/n):"Got it Hibari."

Lindow:"So it's a Gboro-Gboro. All right let's kill it so I can get to the bar."

Sakuya:"*Ahem* Lindow? Don't you think this might be a good opportunity to show (Y/n) how a officer should act?"

(Y/n):"(Honestly Lindow doesn't seem like the strict type.)"

Lindow:"Meh. Not really my thing, I'll keep it mind though."

(Y/n):"(Called it.)"

"Once the three God Eaters were walking around the Sunken Grid with they're guard up. After a bit more walking they saw the Gboro-Gboro."

"Lindow Gave (Y/n) the okay to throw a stun grenade, which he did throwing a Stun Grenade at the Gboro-Gboro causing it to be stun for a bit giving the three God Eaters the chance to strike. With (Y/n) and Lindow striking the Aragami's sides all while Sakuya was keeping some distance between the fight and firing from her God Arc whenever she got a clear shot. The effects of the Stun Grenade started to wear off, which made Lindow and (Y/n) back away just in time cause once it did wear off the Gboro-Gboro started flailing around left to right, once it stopped (Y/n) was charging straight at it only for the Gboro-Gboro to turn around and fire at him, which actually hit (Y/n) as the attack manages to push him back to the point he falls and slides on his knees for a bit until he quickly brought himself back up. Just in time, as he dodges another shot from the Gboro-Gboro."

Sakuya:"You alright (Y/n)?!"

(Y/n):"*Nods* Yeah."

Sakuya:"Try not to rush in so quickly."

Lindow:"Alright then if your okay let's go."

(Y/n):"Right!"

"Lindow and (Y/n) nodded at each other and charged at the Gboro-Gboro with their God Arcs ready to slash at its sides which they manage to do by performing a quick slash at the Gboro's sides, then backing away letting Sakuya get a few shots in the front causing the the horn part to break off which caused the Aragami to roar in agony which made (Y/n) and Lindow taking an opportunity to strike the Gboro-Gboro simultaneously
effectively killing it as it roared one last time before falling to the ground dead."

Hibari:"Another mission done. Great job God Eaters your chopper is on its way to take you home."

Lindow:"Thanks Hibari. And that is how it's done heh! So (Y/n) learned anything new?"

(Y/n):" I suppose so. Learning to adapt."

Lindow:"Exactly swing your God Arc around to hit the bad guys to try and find your own style."

(Y/n):"My own style..."

Sakuya:"But the one thing that's most important is that you make it back home alive."

Lindow:"Boom! True facts from Sakuya herself. So with that being said let's head home yeah?"

(Y/n):"Yeah."

"After devouring the Gboro-Gboro the team headed back to the Den and once they did they reported their mission status."

Hibari:"Glad you made it back. How was the mission?"

Lindow:"It actually went well especially with this rookie right here.*Smacks your back*"

(Y/n):"*Scratches cheek* Eheh it really wasn't anything special."

Lindow:"Haha you should give yourself a bit more credit. Well with that out of the way I'll see ya later."

Sayuka:"Same I'll see you later (Y/n)."

(Y/n):"See you later Sakuya, Lindow."

"After they left (Y/n) turned around to face Hibari."

(Y/n):"I'll come back later to see if there's any missions available is that okay?"

Hibari:"Of course until then enjoy your time relaxing."

(Y/n):"Yeah you too."

"After that (Y/n) was walking up the stairs about to head to the elevator until a young  voice called out to him causing him to turn around to see a little girl and a elder man behind her."

Little girl:"Excuse me I'm sorry to bother you mister but can I ask you a question?"

(Y/n):"Uh sure what is it?"

Little girl:"I've been asking a lot of other God Eaters this but they refuse to answer for some reason."

(Y/n):"Well what's the question?"

Little girl:"Oh right! My question is do you know where my big brother Eric is? I've been trying to find him but he's no where to be found."

"Once she asked this (Y/n) froze from shock that this is Eric's little sister. That and the fact that she is unaware about Eric's death, he looked at the father who was looking to the side, with his hands clenched up tightly meaning he knew about it but not the sister, which made this even harder for (Y/n) as he honestly wasn't sure what to say but, he knew he had to do something."

(Y/n):"*Bends down to her level* Well Eric is...He's uhh..."

Little girl:"He's what?"

(Y/n):"He... wanted to let you know that he's doing just fine. He's just been very busy with his missions."

Little girl:"I knew it. This is my big brother we're talking about. But still he could at least send me a message or notify me what's been going on."

(Y/n):"Yeah. Don't worry I'll let him know when I see him."

Little girl:"Thank you so much mister! See daddy I told you Eric would be fine."

Elder man:"*Chuckles* Yes you did sweetie. Could you wait near the front desk where the young lady is at?"

Little girl:"Yes daddy!"

"After that she had more pep in her step when walking down the stairs thinking that her big brother was doing alright, while the father came up to him, making  (Y/n) wonder what he's going to say to him."

Elder man:"Are you the young man that was with Eric that day?"

(Y/n):"Yes sir...*Bows* I'm terribly sorry for not doing more that day and-"

Elder man:"It's quite alright."

(Y/n):"W-wha?"

Elder man:"I knew the risk that my son would have to face when becoming a God Eater but, still... it doesn't mean I'm not sadden by his untimely demise."

Elder man:"The most I can do is hope and pray that you God Eaters finish up soon that way we could all live in peace."

(Y/n):"Don't worry sir we'll do everything we can to quickly bring peace."

Elder man:"Hmm that's good to hear. Cause if not then I'll be having grey hairs if my daughter becomes a God Eater."

(Y/n):"Eh heh right."

Elder man:"Well I should go best not to keep Erina waiting."

(Y/n):"Right see you later sir."

"After that talk (Y/n) was left a bit uncertain as he was scratching the back of his head wondering if this was going to bite him in the ass in the future. But he shook it out of his mind as he proceeded to head towards the elevator and hit the Rookie Section and rising and soon came to a stop, after that the elevator door opened and once (Y/n) steps out he sees Kota grabbing a soda out of the vending machine, and once he grabbed his soda he noticed (Y/n) and smiled."

Kota:"Yo! Buddy how was the mission with Lindow and Sakuya?"

(Y/n):"Eh can't complain it was alright. What about you? You go on any missions with anyone?"

Kota:"Oh! Dude I went on a mission with Karel, Shun, Kanon and I get messed with by Shun and Karel! Can you believe it?!"

(Y/n):"*Goes and puts some money in the soda machine* My dude you sure it wasn't something that they do to New God Eaters?"

Kota:"Heck no! Besides you didn't go through anything that crazy!"

(Y/n):"*Hits the wrong soda button* Hey I did go through something!...(Or rather someone more than once.)"

Kota:"Really? Like what?"

(Y/n):"*Shivers remembering the few times he went on missions with Kanon* I rather not say.."

(Y/n):"*Grabs the soda*...God dammit.."

Kota:"Grab the wrong soda?"

(Y/n):"Yep grape soda *Takes a sip*.....Meh not that bad."

Kota:"You know what won't be so bad?"

(Y/n):"What?"

Kota:"Me kicking your butt in fighting games."

(Y/n):"Kota Kota Kota. It might be me but, those sound like fighting words."

Kota:"*Smirks* And if it is?"

(Y/n):"Then you better get those controllers ready cause it's on."

"After that (Y/n) and Kota went to his room  and started playing a few fighting games with the a few wins here and there until a knock was heard at Kota's door."

(Y/n):"Wonder who that could be?"

Kota:"It's open!"

"The door opens to reveal Sakuya who was giving us a warm smiling."

Sakuya:"Hey you two, what are you doing?"

(Y/n):"Hey Sakuya, we're not doing much just kicking Kota's butt."

Kota:"Says the guy who lost two times in a Row."

(Y/n):"Yeah from this said guy who came back and is now 4-3."

Sakuya:"Anyway I came by to see if you two are wanting to come along on a mission with me?"

Kota:"Heck yeah!(Yes! Yes!!)"

Sakuya:"And Soma."

Kota:"Oh..Sure!"

(Y/n):"Yeah I'm up and ready for a mission."

Sakuya:"Alright then let's go.*Shes says smiling*"

"After she left the two to get themselves ready for the mission with her and Soma."

- - - - -Timeskip with Chibi (Y/n) and Hibari discussing the movie they watched- - - - - -

"The four God Eaters were standing and waiting about to start the mission with (Y/n) and Kota talking about random things until Lindow showed up."

Lindow:"Well another great time for some God eating. Make sure you all come back safe and sound."

Kota:"Wait that's..That's it? That's all for a speech."

(Y/n):"Yep. Short, but good enough to get the message."

Sakuya:"He's right it's best not to question him like that trust me."

Soma:"*Sighs*."

Lindow:"Hahaha! It's nice to know everyone is feeling the mission today..Well almost everyone."

"Everyone turns to glance at (Y/n), causing him to look down and scratch his head."

Lindow:"Haha! No I'm messing with ya. Come on chin up."

Lindow:"This will be your first mission as a squad, one that I can say is a damn good one, so get out there and do your best."

Kota:"Wait what about you Lindow?"

Lindow:"Who me? Ah well I got a hot date waiting for me, so it will be just you guys, so could you keep it on the down low for me?"

Lindow:"Plus the lovely lady is a bit impatient. She'll up and leave if I'm late."

(Y/n):"(That's Lindow for ya.)"

Lindow:"So yeah I'll be taking off and remember the "Big Rule":Don't die."

Soma:"Hmph.. they're your rules, make sure to follow them yourself."

Sakuya:"It's a work night so try not to stay out to late. Okay Lindow?"

Lindow:"*Chuckles* Got it."

After that Lindow heads back leaving the four God Eaters by themselves again."

Sakuya:"All right then, let's start the mission."

"(Y/n) and Kota nod while Soma silently stands there waiting. Once Hibari gives the signal they all jump off the small cliff and start their mission."

Sakuya:"So we'll be dealing with some Zygotes and a Kongou. For this we'll spilt into two so Me and Soma, (Y/n) you'll be paired with Kota. Any objections?"

"No one in the group had any objections or arguments making Sakuya nod."

Sakuya:"Alright then. With that keep your communication links on and good luck you two."

(Y/n):"*Nods* Right."

Kota:"Yes ma'am!"

Sakuya Pov

With (Y/n) and Kota going left, while me and Soma went to the right and while we were walking to the right we spotted a Zygote, making the both of us chase after it. While we were chasing it we heard (Y/n) and Kota talk through the Coms."

Kota:So Lindow has little date huh?"

(Y/n):"Yep seems so..why you jealous or something?"

Kota:"Whaaa nah....well okay maybe I'm just a little green with envy."

Kota:"But I mean maybe he hook ol' Kota up! With maybe a little secret date as well."

"I sighed with how goofy he sounds right now."

Sakuya:"Kota just keep your mind on the mission okay?"

Kota:"Ooops sorry heh heh."

After that Communication ended there for now as I now the Zygote in my sight while Soma was taking care of the other one further in the building. I angle myself perfectly and aimmed just right as I fired a few rounds at before dodging it as it tried to attack me. Once I recovered from my dodging I took aim and fired a few more rounds one of them being able to damage the Zygote in the eye causing it to scream in pain as it fell down to the ground and slowly died."

Sakuya:"*Sighs* Well that takes care of one of the Zygote."

Soma:"Finished with the Zygote in the building."

Sakuya:"Great! Looks like we're done on our end. Time to see how (Y/n) and Kota are doing."

Sakuya:"Sakuya to (Y/n) and Kota. Do you read me?"

(Y/n):"Hey Sakuya this is (Y/n)."

Kota:"Yo."

Sakuya:"How are things on your end?"

(Y/n):"Great all the Zygotes have been taken care of on our end."

Sakuya:"That's good to hear."

(Y/n):"Yeah...Didn't you say there was a Kongou?"

Hibari:"Everyone the Kongou is heading towards you as we speak. It's heading towards where Kota and (Y/n) are."

Sakuya:"Great..Thanks for the heads up Hibari."

Hibari:"No problem. Be careful all of you."

Sakuya:"Right. (Y/n), Kota be careful and on the look out for the Kongou."

(Y/n)/Kota:"Right."

(Y/n) Pov

"As me and Kota we're keeping a look out for the Kongou as they weren't all that fast but they can catch you off guard if not careful."

(Y/n):"See anything yet?"

Kota:"No nothing ye- Up there!*He points up."

"I was the first to look up as I see the Kongou coming out of the hole in the building. Once it jumped from the building it roared throughout the area causing me and Kota to get ready for this."

(Y/n):"You ready?"

Kota:"Yeah."

"Once me and Kota got ourselves ready the Kongou charged at us by rolling at us with quick speed causing me and Kota to react at the last minute, by dodging its attack at just the right moment, giving us moment to sigh out of relief. But we knew we couldn't take it easy just yet as the Kongou was now making its way towards me about to attack me making me pull out my shield, until Kota fired a few shots causing the Kongou to stagger for a short second only for it to then resume trying to attack me as it swung its arm at me, and thank god I had my shield up otherwise I would have been in worse shape, but still I was sent flying back a bit only for me to land sliding on my knees a bit and a bit of Deja vu for some reason."

Kota:"You alright?!"

(Y/n):"Yeah! I'll live!"

"As I got back up on my feet and get myself ready as I see the Kongou coming after me again, while Kota is still firing a few rounds at the Kongou, once it got close to me it had both its hands up ready to smash me in. Only for me dodge by side stepping, thankfully I manage to avoid getting harmed but the shockwave sent me back a bit. Though that didn't stop me as I quickly recovered and went straight for the Kongou as I started slashing at its sides only to move to the tail thankfully it seems I did something as part of its tail broke causing it to roar in pain, making me back away as it started to flail around a bit before it got up."

(Y/n):"Alright lets keep it up at this pace!"

Kota:"Hell yeah!"

"As soon as it got up it was immediately hit with a shot but, not by Kota but by Sakuya as we see her keeping a certain distance from the Kongou. That was now trying to make its way towards Kota instead of me. I was about to make my way towards the Kongou until I saw something up in the air coming down fast and it look and see Soma."

Soma:"Drop dead!"

"As soon as Soma said that the Kongou turned around and immediately had its head smashed into the ground by Soma's God Arc which made a very loud crush noise, I was just standing there mouth open as I surprised by what Soma just did, I did manage to get just one word out of my mouth once I regained myself."

(Y/n):"Holy shit.."

Kota:"I know right?.."

Sakuya:"*Starts walking towards me and Kota* If you two are surprised now you're definitely in for what Soma can really do."

(Y/n):"Seriously..."

Hibari:"Mission complete. Well done you guys. Come on home."

Soma:"Hmph."

Sakuya:"Thus the victory gets the spoils."

Soma:"Right."

"After Soma devoured the Kongou and it's core we headed straight home soon after that."

"Once we made it inside the Lobby again we saw Lindow relaxing comfortably on the couch. I'm a bit surprised he managed to make it back before us."

Sakuya:"Looks like you made it back before us. How'd it go?"

Lindow:"It went pretty well. I manage to wrap it up early as per requested. What about you guys?"

Soma:"As your per request no one died. See?"

Sakuya:"Yep the mission went well. No casualties, Overall a pretty solid outing."

Kota:"Yeah you should have seen us! We kicked so much ass!"

Soma:"Funny I don't actually recall you contributing that much."

(Y/n):"(Damn..)"

Kota:"Wha! I ughh..."

Sakuya:"*Giggles*"

Lindow:"Damn! Well if that's the case, I guess I won't be skipping out on anymore dates just to keep you guys in check."

Kota:"Lindow where do you be getting these dates?! You gotta hook me up!"

(Y/n):"Easy there Kota."

Lindow:"Hehe not sure you can handle a lady."

Sakuya:"*Sighs*."

Inter Com:"Attention all God Eaters. The Seventh Unit has successfully slain a Ouroboros and taken the core. All engineers report to lab No.5."

(Y/n):"An Ouroboros?! Holy crap!(Someone managed to kill something like that!)"

Kota:"Umm what's an Ouroboros? Is it like crazy strong?"

Soma:"If you do a little research then you won't be asking stupid questions. It's in the Norn look it up."

Sakuya:"It is pretty strong Kota I don't think we're ready to take on something like that yet."

Kota:"Seriously? But we rock like really hard."

Soma:"And we'll die like really hard."

Kota:"Come on man why ya gotta be like that?"

Lindow:"It may be out of the question now but, one of these days there will be a time where we'll have to deal with it. But for now follow the "Big Rule". "

Soma:"Yeah don't die, we get it, don't you think you used that line enough."

Lindow:"Nah I don't think I have. I'll keep saying it until you do get it Soma. You'd probably charge straight into death if I wasn't watching."

Soma:"Tch..."

Lindow:"Heh well I got another date in line so I'm off for now. Good fighting everyone."

"After that Lindow walks off the elevator leaving us to our own devices. But I couldn't help but notice that Sakuya looks down? I would ask but it's not my place to ask so I didn't ask."

(Y/n):"Well I'm feeling a bit beat so I'll be heading off to my room if anyone else needs me. See ya."

Kota:"Later buddy."

Sakuya:"See you later."

Soma:"...."

"Once I said my good byes I went to the elevator and went to my room and relaxed on my bed. Taking a moment to relax for a moment."

(Y/n):"I hope this team continues to go well."
