So last chapter (Y/n) manage to improve a bit and showed his improvements with his God Arc on the field with Sakuya. Now he has a mission with Kanon as she is known to accidentally fire at her allies, which has left (Y/n) a bit worried."

So with that out of the way let's start this chapter now!

Also I do not own anything from the God Eater franchise all of it Characters, Story, etc, all belongs to its respectful company and owner.

"You belong to yourself."

(Y/n) Pov

"I slowly wake up out of my slumber as I soon stretch a bit before getting out of bed and hitting the showers. After spending a good solid ten minutes in the there and then I walk out and manage to get out a fresh set of clothes and put them on ready for a brand new day."

(Y/n):"Hmm I wonder what should do before breakfast?"

(Y/n):"Workout? Nah Im about to head out soon so it can wait until later."

"I continue thinking until I look at the Terminal just sitting there, I continue to stare at it until an idea popped into my head."

(Y/n):"Well might as well study on some Aragami's for a bit. Before going to get breakfast."

"I walked over to my Terminal and turned it on and immediately looked through Norn's library and towards Aragami Info, which instantly popped open with a variety of Aragami's that we know so far such as Orgetails, Cocoon Maidens, Zygotes which we're categorized as small Aragami's."

(Y/n):"So I guess that means there's more in different sizes."

"I continue researching the different types until stop at what's called a Gboro-Gboro, and decided to explore a bit more of Norn until I noticed that I just got mail from a few people."

(Y/n):"Lets see Sakuya, Gina? Who's Gina? Anyway Tatsumi, and Kanon. Cool let's see what they say."

Sakuya(Message):"Hey just wanted to say great work out there! Though while I did see some errors out on our mission I'm still surprised how well you did out there. Anyway look forward to working with you again!"

(Y/n)(Message):"Thank you for going this mission with me! You were amazing out there as well. Look forward to working on missions with you as well! Sent."

Gina(Message):"Yo. Names Gina. You know that mission that you and Kanon agreed to do? Well I'll join you on that, it will be a good opportunity for us to get to know each other."

(Y/n):"(Hmm..Well the more the merrier I guess.)"

(Y/n)(Message):"I look forward to meeting and getting to know you as well Gina. Sent."

(Y/n):"I'll see what Kanon has to say first."

Kanon(Message):"Hey! Hey! Glad you remembered me! Also I got your message to! Thank you for yesterday as well let's do well on our mission that we'll have together, also a friend will be joining us on our mission. Anyway see ya there!"

(Y/n)(Message):"Thank you! Your welcome as well hope to continue going on future missions with you. Sent."

(Y/n):"Finally and now Tatsumi."

Tatsumi(Message):"Yo! Sorry for the late message, but just in case names Tatsumi O'Mori leader of 2nd Unit. Try not push yourself to much on the early missions."

(Y/n)(Message):"Hey Tatsumi! Don't worry I won't push myself. Sent."

(Y/n):"Welll...I won't push myself..that much..heh heh."

(Y/n):"I guess I should head over to the cafeteria and get something into my stomach."

"I soon make my way to the cafeteria and grab a good set of food which really wasn't anything special, but as long as I get something in my stomach it doesn't really matter I was enjoying my breakfast and then I heard Kota calling for me."

Kota:"Yo! (Y/n) what's up?"

(Y/n):"Eh not much just enjoying a bit of breakfast, you?"

Kota:"Heh heh, just got up. I was watching some Bugarally last night it was a pretty good episode if I do say so myself."

(Y/n):"Sheesh dude, if anything I admire your passion for the show."

Kota:"Well I can't help that it's that good!"

(Y/n):"Heh yeah, yeah I know."

Kota:"So anything on the agenda today?"

(Y/n):"I'm going on a mission with Kanon and a friend of hers."

Kota:"Wha!! Dude your already going on missions with other people!"

(Y/n):"It's not that big of deal besides we'll going on missions to maybe we could make a deal out of it."

Kota:"Nice! I'll look forward to it. So just asking.."

(Y/n):"Hmmm?"

Kota:"*Whispers* Is she your special lady friend?"

(Y/n):"*Blushes* Wha? Dude!"

Kota:"Hahaha! I'm just pulling your chain man. *He says as he pats your back.*Anyway I'll see you later (Y/n)!"

(Y/n):"See ya Kota."

Kota soon leaves the cafeteria leaving you by yourself once more. You soon start to think about what mission you, Kanon, and Gina are going on?"

(Y/n):"Hmm I wonder..hopefully the mission doesn't get to out of hand.."

(Y/n):"Well I'll get by if that happens."

"After finishing up and putting my tray away as I make my way to the lobby and decided to sit down on the couch and after a few minutes of waiting I hear the elevator and see Kanon, and Gina walks out of the elevator and towards me."

Kanon:"Hey (Y/n)! Were you waiting long?"

(Y/n):"Nah. I was just chilling here for a bit."

Kanon:"Yep and this is my good friend Gina!"

Gina:"Yo. Nice to finally meet you."

(Y/n):"Same here. So you girls ready to go on a mission?"

Kanon/Gina:"Yeah!/Yep."

Kanon Pov

We immediately make our way to Hibari who suggested two missions one being taking out a Zygote or a few Ogretails I wanted to pick the Ogretails and Gina wanted to pick the Ogretails as well. I then look at (Y/n) who has his eyes closed as he was thinking on which mission to accept as I was waiting for him to pick I see him open his eyes looking like he decided."

(Y/n):"I accept the Ogretails mission."

Kanon:"Yes!"

Hibari:"Alright then, done and done. Alright then good luck then you three and don't die."

"Once the mission was accepted we made our way to the elevator and descended down, and soon saw our God Arcs as we made our way to them and grabbed them to get ready for our mission."

"We reached the small cliff and awaiting for Hibari to announce the command to us go. Leaving me a little giddy to blast some Aragami into next week!"

Kanon:"Isn't this exciting! It must be especially for you as well (Y/n)! Going on a mission with two of us!"

(Y/n):"Heh heh well excited is one of the things I'm feeling at the moment."

Gina:"Well that's good."

(Y/n):"(I guess she's not one for conversation or maybe when she's on the field.)"

Hibari:"Alright you guys are good to go. Happy Hunting."

"We jump down and land on the ground and start walking around and the minute we see two Orgetails.Gina firing at one of them leaving the other one for me and (Y/n) as after she that one off she goes off to find the others, meanwhile the two of us are getting closer to it, and as (Y/n) is hacking away at it, I see an opening and decide to shoot and it accidentally hit (Y/n) as it caused him to stagger a bit before dodging the Ogretails tail sweep."

(Y/n):"Kanon shoot it down now!"

Kanon:"R-Right!"

"I fired a few more rounds at the Ogretail as it was now open and no one in the way, after a few more rounds it fell down and stayed down and immediately go to (Y/n) since he's now done with the second Aragami and Gina nowhere to be seen must have gone of on her own again,anyway I walk to him to apologize for accidentally hitting him. Doh!! I thought today would be a good day for me I guess not.."

Kanon:"I'm so sorry!! I saw a opening and-and-!"

(Y/n):"Kanon calm down. It's fine see?"

Kanon:"*Sighs* Again I'm really sorry for that accident."

(Y/n);"Again it's fine..

(Y/n):"Though now I do see what the others were talking about with your misfires."

"I look down in embarrassment as I knew what he was talking about."

Kanon:"Heh..yeah."

(Y/n):"*Pats her shoulder* But hey we make mistakes..just make sure not to let those mistakes don't get us hurt."

Kanon:"Heh heh. Thanks (Y/n), your a lot more forgiving than the other God Eaters, they would get all upset."

(Y/n):"Well I'm mean I not exactly-"

(Y/n):"Wait.."

Kanon:"Hmm?"

(Y/n):"Where is..Gina?"

Kanon:"Oh yeah, she often likes to go off on her own to handle Aragami's."

(Y/n):"....That's a reckless thing to do why would she do that?!"

Kanon:"She just does. Some of us voiced our concerns, but sadly that's just how she is."

(Y/n):"*Rubs hand through his hair* Seriously? Dammit..."

Kanon:"But I wouldn't worry! She's very serious when it mission time starts."

(Y/n);"You sure?"

Kanon:"Mmhmm! Trust me! Me and Gina are good friends, so trust me when I say she's fine."

(Y/n):"....*Sighs* Alright, Well lets go find her and see-"

Hibari:"Hello? (Y/n)? Kanon? Can you hear me?"

(Y/n):"Yes Hibari you're loud in clear. What's up?"

Hibari:"Reports are showing that a Varja is about to enter the area. So please take caution when handling the rest of the Ogretails."

(Y/n):"Right thanks for the info Hibari."

Hibari:"No problem, also Gina should be headed your way now."

(Y/n):"Right thanks."

Kanon:"Well at least we know that Gina is headed our way."

(Y/n):"I guess..Hey quick question what's a Varja?"

Kanon:"....Your...kidding right? Didn't you read up on the Norn?"

(Y/n):"I did but, I stopped at..the..what was it...Oh yeah Gboro-Gboro! I stopped at that."

Kanon:"*Sighs* Alright Well in short the Varja's are very powerful Aragami's that should not be taken lightly."

Hibari:"Hey you two the Varja has just enter the area so please take caution."

Kanon/(Y/n):"Understood."

After we ended the conversation with Hibari we were walking a bit fast we could get to where Gina went with (Y/n) following behind, as he decided to speak."

(Y/n):"*Turns on communication with Gina* Hey Gina. You there?"

Gina:"Ha..ha yeah...what's up?"

(Y/n):"Just letting you know that a Vajra is going to be entering this area so let's hurry up and finish these Ogretails."

Gina:"Yeah. It's a good thing you said that.."

(Y/n):"Why?"

Gina:"Hey!"

Kanon:"Oh hey just like Hibari..said..."

(Y/n):"Shit....."

We see Gina running towards us, all while having the other two Ogretails following in pursuit to take her out, having the both of us immediately rush towards the Ogretails. As Gina is at my side the both of us waste no time and immediately fire away at the Ogretail, giving it not room to fight back. After we fire a couple of more rounds it falls to the ground signaling our victory, I also look at (Y/n) as now just finished the Ogretail. He looks over to us and walks over to us as all of us high five each other only for our sweet victory only for it to end short as we hear stomping coming close to us but it was still somewhat far."

Hibari:"Guys the Varja heard your fight and is now coming straight for you! Avoid any confrontation with it for now!"

Kanon:"I second that please!"

(Y/n):"Shit come on let's go!"

Gina:"Right!"

"At this point we were running from the Varja and as we were heading to the same spot from where we dropped we heard the beast get closer to us we look back only to see (Y/n) stop running and stand there reaching for something in his pockets."

Kanon:"(Y/n) what are you doing?!"

Gina:"Keep running you damn fool!"

(Y/n):"Don't worry trust me just keep going I'll catch up!"

"As I see the Varja coming closer I see (Y/n) still standing there. What on earth is he trying to do?!"

(Y/n) Pov

"I wait a bit more as the Varja is now within range of my stun grenade I throw the thing far enough to hit the ground causing the Varja to step back a bit, giving me the opportunity to lay a snare trap on the ground and immediately go back and regroup with Kanon and Gina who were now waiting for me."

(Y/n):"Lets go!"

"They both nod and start running again and once we got there we were climbing first Gina got to the top then Kanon, but I made sure to look to see where the Varja was and successfully it also got caught by my snare trap, which caused me to smirk a bit until I looked back with Kanon holding her hand out."

Kanon:"Grab on!"

"I nod and grabbed her hand with her pulling me up,with me also pushing myself up."

(Y/n):"Alright lets go."

Kanon:"Yeah!"

Gina:"Right."

"We immediately make our way towards the helicopter and soon as we get on the pilot in front looks over and ask if we're good to go we all tell him yes. Not even five minute in and we immediately head out with most of us finally getting a moment to breath, I look at the clouds without having to worry about my surroundings only to feel a piercing gaze hitting me in the back of my head I look back to see Kanon and Gina giving me a glare which I can understand why so I at least try to own up to the situation and admit my mistakes."

(Y/n):"I know, I know it was a bit reckless for me to do."

Gina:"No kidding."

Kanon:"You could have a the very least let us know what you were planning."

(Y/n):"Yeah...sorry.."

Kanon:"*Pats your shoulder* Well at the very least you managed to stall the Varja giving us enough time to leave."

Gina:"Mmm I agree with Kanon on this. Reckless, but hey we're reckless too at times."

(Y/n):"Thanks girls.(They're right next time I need to plan ahead or at least try.)"

Kanon:"Yeah! I mean heck did you see all of that?! Those Ogretails couldn't even handle us!"

(Y/n):"Heh heh yeah it was pretty cool."

Gina:"Heh."

Kanon:"Hopefully we can go on missions together again!"

(Y/n):"You know what? I like that..I'd be down for that."

Gina:"Yeah same here."

Kanon:"Yes!"

- - - -Timeskip with Chibi Kanon shooting Chibi (Y/n) with healing bullets- - - -

"We get back to base and report back to Hibari and we get our pay and somehow we manage to spilt the pay evenly. After that Kanon asked if we could hang out for a bit and I happily agreed, so we just sat down on the couch talking for a bit first our mission and, then talking about other things such as advice for each other about our battle tactics, suggestions, etc. After a while of talking we decided to stop for now as we take the elevator and as soon as we stop on the rookie section we say our goodbyes and once I get to my room as I switch from the clothes I'm wearing now to my more comfortable clothes and immediately lay down and fall asleep awaiting what going to happen next."
