(A/n):"So last chapter (Y/n) had a nightmare which caused him not wanting to participate on any missions but thankfully didn't have to as he and every other god eater got a day off so, Alisa and (Y/n) spent time together learning about their cultures and their way of thinking what will happen next? Let's find out now! Also sheesh this is the longest chapter I written for this story."

"Another day another time to go out and hunt for some Aragami. (Y/n) slowly got up out of his bed and stretched a bit scratching his head before getting out of bed and starts getting himself ready."

(Y/n):"Well I should check the terminal to see if there's anything new."

(Y/n):"Right let's see Aragami? Nah.. that can be for another time..Hmm? Ooh some email! Let's see from who?"

(Y/n):"Alisa, Kota, and Lindow."

Message Start

Lindow(Mes.):[Hey there rookie how's it going? I was wondering if you can assist our new member? Even though she did well through combat simulation, she's still a newbie in the field.]

(Y/n)(Mes.):[I'm doing alright thanks for asking. Also sure I'll help out in anyway I can.]

(Y/n):"Alright next message."

Kota(Mes.):[Hey there buddy! I wanted to ask what do you think about Alisa? Hopefully she loosens up a bit and not be to much of a stiff.]

(Y/n)(Mes.):[Heh I understand what you mean. Though she came from a branch that's probably a lot more strict than the Far East Branch.]

(Y/n):"And now the last one."

Alisa(Mes.):[Hello I wanted to say I look forward to working with your group when I can. Also thank you again for yesterday.]

(Y/n)(Mes.):[Of course we look forward to working with you. No problem happy to help.]

(Y/n):"Well time to go and get started."

"After that (Y/n) left his room and headed down to the lobby, and make his way to the cafeteria to grab something for breakfast. Once he did he sat down at any table and started eating until he saw Kota and Alisa walking towards his table."

Kota:"Yo!"

Alisa:"Hello (Y/n)."

(Y/n):"Hey you two how's it going?"

Alisa:"It was going well until Kota started talking about Bugarally."

Kota:"Whhaaa?! Come on it's a good show! Heck even (Y/n) can back me up on this!"

(Y/n):"Heh yeah it's a good show, you should watch it with us when you get the chance."

Alisa:"Hmm...I'll consider it.."

Kota:"Nice!"

Alisa:"Are you always this loud during the morning?"

(Y/n):"That's how he is, plus it's good to have someone who's always full of energy in a group."

Kota:"Bro...(*Sniffs*This is a true bro right here.)"

(Y/n):"Heh well got anything planned for today Alisa? Kota?"

Kota:"I think we have a mission with Soma and Sakuya."

Alisa:"And I'll be able to join you soon but for now I am still on hold."

(Y/n):"So what exactly are we hunting down?"

Kota:"I think it's a Chi-You."

(Y/n):"A Chi-You huh..(I've manage to read up about them in the Norn they are some tough cookies to deal with.)"

Kota:"It will take place at the Infernal Subway."

(Y/n):"The Infernal Subway..Wasn't that area at one point used as a refugee route to take people to the Den?"

Alisa:"*Nods* But thanks to an Aragami and a large one at that, it tried to burrow itself into the Lava."

Kota:"Holy crap for real! What happened?!"

(Y/n):"Well this is from word of mouth, but apparently it couldn't handle it."

Kota:"And then?"

Alisa:"It is unknown as the details after that are a bit...unclear as there are several stories on what happened after that some say that the large Aragami made its way to a different area only to die from severe injuries."

(Y/n):"Yep there's also a story where the thing immediately died as it melted away in the lava. Though if anything there's so many stories on the lava."

Alisa:"Ah you heard them as well?"

(Y/n):"Mmm some say if you dive straight in the middle of where the lava is pouring then it takes you straight to the gateway to hell."

Alisa:"Ahh yes I've heard that a few times."

Kota:"Where the heck did you two hear this?!Especially you dude?!*He says as he points at you*"

Alisa:"I just happen to over some people talking about some"stories" but other than that, that's it."

(Y/n):"As for me?..it was last week when I was with Tatsumi and Kanon I asked them about the area and they gave me most of the info and history about it.(Though if anything it all sounds like urban legends if you ask me.)"

Alisa:"Even to this day the magma continues to flow..."

Kota:"*Gulps* W-where does it flow?"

Alisa:"Into the everlasting pitch black darkness that is hell."

Kota:"*Shivers* I just got the chills just listening to you two talk about this!"

(Y/n):"Well that's why we said it's just stories and rumors so no reason to freak out."

Kota:"Dude! I have plenty to freak out about now!"

(Y/n):"*Munches on the rest of food* Considering we deal with Aragami on a daily basis I would say those things are very minor nothing but stories."

Kota:"Dude the fact you say that so casually makes me unsure if should sigh in relief or not."

(Y/n):"Well I'm sure you'll shake it off while we're on the mission."

Kota:"*Sighs* Fair enough so you ready for this mission?"

Kota:"See ya!"

(Y/n):"Yep let's do this. See you later Alisa."

Alisa:"*Nods and waves*"

"Once the two of them got done with their breakfast they soon got themselves ready as they headed out on their mission with Soma and Sakuya assisting them on their mission."

- - - - -Timeskip with Chibi (Y/n) waiting on Karel and Shun to decide on who gets the bonus money- - - - -

"Once the God Eaters had gotten to their destination they were now given the approval to start the mission with Hibari quickly briefing them on the Chi-You and how to break through it's defense with crushing attacks from gunfire. Once they started they were walking around a bit with Kota now groaning a bit."

Kota:"Mmaaann not even that long and I'm already gross and sweaty and melting?...Oh god am I actually going to melt?!"

Sayuka:"If you are could you melt a little quieter?"

Kota:"But it's soo hot!!"

Sakuya:"You do know the Oracle Cells help adapt your body to harsh temperatures. Any regular person would have been set on fire by now."

Kota:"Whoa really?...Huh guess you learn something new everyday. Well now that's resolved let's continue!"

(Y/n):"Heh right."

Soma:"........"

"After that they started to walk down the stairs which leads the group a bit further down as they're walking Sakuya has her hand up causing the group to halt in their tracks."

(Y/n):"What's wrong?"

Sakuya:"I hear something it sounds like our target is close so get ready."

As soon as she said that the God Eaters did prepared themselves as they started to hear stomps coming closer and closer to them until they see the Chi-You walking towards them causing them to get ready as the Chi-You roared before flying towards them causing all of them to dodge its attack."

Sakuya:"Kota your with me as we'll aim for the head and it's chest. Soma, (Y/n) you'll go for its arm. Now go!"

"As Soma and (Y/n) charge forward towards the Chi-You and started attacking its wings at times while at the same time Sakuya and Kota manages to take a few pot shots causing the Chi-You to stagger at short moments giving Soma and (Y/n) a chance to attack to jump and slash at the Chi-You before the said Aragami regained its composure and became a bit enraged by roaring loud enough to echo throughout the subway, after that it quickly raised its hands causing Sakuya to yell towards Soma and (Y/n) to back away immediately as the Chi-You did a spin attack with several of its feathers hitting the ground, and a few hitting Soma and (Y/n)'s shield as they pulled theirs out just in time. Once the Chi-You stopped spinning Sakuya managed to get a lucky shot in as it hit the aragami directly in the face causing it to stagger for a bit, that is until Kota took a shot as well causing the Chi-You to now fall on to its knees giving Soma and (Y/n) going all out on the Aragami. So after few slashes from Soma, and several from (Y/n) they managed to break its wings as it now has huge cuts on one side and several on the other showing that the Chi-You is severely injured meaning that the God Eaters were close on finishing their mission. Just as (Y/n) was about to deliver the final blow to the Chi-You, the aragami pushed itself away by pushing (Y/n) as well causing him to fall right on his back causing Kota to go to him bring him back up, and while that was happening once the Chi-You gained its footing it started to fire of a few shots of energy at the group making Soma get in front of them just in time to guard all of the Chi-You's shots only to see that the Chi-You was charging up one more attack making Soma to remain on the defense as the Aragami fired the last shot which was a lot bigger then the other shots the Chi-You fired, which Soma was able to guard against although the attack caused him to skid back a bit. After this the Chi-You had paused for few seconds causing (Y/n) to take the opportunity as he jumped straight at the Chi-You and slashes across the Chi-You's chest making it roar in agony and while that was happening Soma then jumped and slashed down at the Chi-You as its head was now being spilt open all the way to its chest as Soma now landed on his feet with his God Arc still in the Chi-You as it slowly slumped a bit showing that it's confirmed taken out with everyone now able to breath for just a moment."

Hibari:"Mission complete everyone, great work. I'll send a ride for you all to come home now."

Sakuya:"Thank you Hibari. Great teamwork everyone."

(Y/n):"*Smiles And nods* Thanks Sakuya."

Kota:"Another one bites the dust! Oh yeah!"

Soma:"Hmph..."

Sakuya:Well then let's head home everyone."

- - - -Timeskip with (Y/n) and Soma hanging out- - - -

"Once the God Eaters got back to their base they reported their mission and left of doing their own thing leaving Kota and (Y/n) on their own just sitting down and talking on the couch. Until Alisa came up to both of them causing them to look up at her."

(Y/n):"Hey Alisa you need something?"

Alisa:"The Doctor has a meeting scheduled for us, we are suppose to report there now."

(Y/n):"Another class session..Alright let's do this."

Kota:"Ugghh right.."

"Once the three God Eaters made their way to the doctor's room he immediately greeted them, with them doing the same and soon class started with Kota already nodding off into sleep with (Y/n) having to gently shake his shoulder so he doesn't get in trouble."

Dr.Sakaki:"So picking up where we last left off we were discussing Oracle Cells yes?"

(Y/n)/Alisa/Kota:"*Nods*"

Dr.Sakaki:"Right well in short they make up Aragami and eat anything. And yes I mean anything. They eat life forms- - flora and fauna- - as well as synthetic creations, resins... plastics for instance."

Dr.Sakaki:"It has even been reported that they can consume toxic waste which will actively destroy any other life form."

(Y/n):"*Nods*(At this point they'll just devour anything in site wether it's a person or a damn building itself.)"

Dr.Sakaki:"They never tire out either. Buildings, the earth itself. See? This is the end result.*He says a he brings up a picture of a destroyed city on the screen*"

(Y/n):"Its a bit frightening that they'll devour anything in their sights."

Dr.Sakaki:"Indeed the environments as we now know as the leftovers is rapidly diminishing as we speak. *Pulls up a picture of a cherry blossom*"

(Y/n):"Whoa...(Looks breath taking..)"

Dr.Sakaki:"Yes mesmerizing isn't it? People use to gather here to view cherry blossoms in spring. To watch it turn into gold and red when autumn came.*He says switching to a picture where the leaves were different colors*"

(Y/n):"(Again it looks so beautiful.)"

Dr.Sakaki:"Sadly, they're only memories. Saved in pictures and first hand accounts."

(Y/n):"(Yeah..)"

Dr.Sakaki:"And the Aragami, are beginning to take on qualities of the things they consume, gaining new abilities. Heck recently we even discovered a few Aragami that have been photosynthesizing. It's a wonder."

(Y/n):"Really?"

Dr.Sakaki:"*Nods* The composition of our air remains as it always was. 79% nitrogen, and 21% oxygen. Despite the decimation of our plants and trees over the last 20 odd years, nearly 70% now gone, we have maintained the air.*He says while signaling (Y/n) to wake Kota up*"

(Y/n):"*Nods*"

Dr.Sakaki:"It's ironic. We hunt the Aragami and they hunt us, yet it is due to their photosynthesis that we can still breathe."

(Y/n):"*Taps Kota's shoulder* Yo Kota."

Kota:"..ZzzzzZz..No mom, earmuffs don't go on the cookies...zZzzZz..."

(Y/n):"Pfft..."

Alisa:"*Sighs* Doesn't he understand how important this is?"

(Y/n):"Well Alisa, Kota is just Kota."

Dr.Sakaki:"Precisely. Now tell me have either of you heard of the term, Nova's Devouring Apocalypse?"

(Y/n)/Alisa:"*Nods*."

Alisa:"Yes it will theoretically come into being through Aragami fighting one another."

Alisa:"Humanity's extinction is triggered by a Nova, an Aragami will grow so massive and powerful that it will devour the whole world."

Dr.Sakaki:"Precisely. Now, we have no confident source for the origin of this theory."

Kota:"*Wakes up and wipes the drool off* But won't Aegis Project protect us when it's complete even from the Nova?"

(Y/n):"(That's if the Aegis Project even finishes and who's to say it will be a success? I don't know how I feel about pinning everything on a project that may or may not be a guarantee.)"

Dr.Sakaki:"Do you know what a dog is Kota?"

Kota:"Huh?"

(Y/n):"???(What is he getting at??)"

Dr.Sakaki:"Yes, Canis Lupus Familiarus. Even now their numbers are fading, but they can still be seen around the Outer Ghetto."

Dr.Sakaki:"Dogs are very intelligent. No they cannot speak, but they have a natural, almost innate form of communication with other species. Like us. Now, if an Aragami were to take on these sort of qualities, would that Aragami be able to co-exist with us?"

(Y/n)/Alisa:"Co-exist??"

Dr.Sakaki:"Of course, dogs aren't the animal that posses this sort of ingrown communication."

(Y/n):"Huh.."

Dr.Sakaki:"I actually read once about an animal tamer who used to communicate with all kinds of creatures in some stripped tent or something like that.Hahaha..."

(Y/n):"(Is it possible? I mean we've been trying to take back our world, why would humans want to co-exist with the same creatures that just do nothing, but kill and grow?)"

Alisa:"It's not possible. Humans and Aragami cannot live together. It's simple fact."

"(Y/n) was going to speak, but Dr.Sakaki spoke and said that they'll continue this subject another time, causing the three God Eaters to get up from their seats and stretch out a bit before leaving Dr.Sakaki's room and now heading to the elevator to head to their quarters."

Kota:"So what are you two going to do now?"

Alisa:"I'll be heading to the training room to practice. What will you two do?"

(Y/n):"Hmmm not sure I guess play some games."

Kota:"You mean get your butt whooped?*Kota says smirking*"

(Y/n):"Uhh last time I checked I was mopping the floor with you."

Kota:"No.no.no.no.no my friend last time I remembered correctly the score today was 4-2."

(Y/n):"Oh please you just got lucky those last two matches."

Kota:"Wanna prove it?"

(Y/n):"Oh..I'll prove it alright! Let's do this!!"

Kota:"Let's!!!"

"Once the elevator reached a halt the two rushed towards Kota's room leaving a bit of dust leaving Alisa just standing their on what just happened only for her to hit the Lobby button making her way down. Meanwhile while in Kota's room where they continued their contest with whatever game they were playing. After an hour nearly an hour and a half Kota and (Y/n) were still at it with their contest with Kota 7 wins and 6 losses and (Y/n) with 6 wins and 7 losses with the two being at a tie until knocking was heard which the two didn't pay attention until the knocking became louder causing Kota to break his concentration and him to lose the match."

(Y/n):"Yes! We're at a tie now!*He says while some kinda of victory pose*

Kota:"Oh! Sorry it's open!"

"Once the door opened it revealed Alisa who was looking at the two guys wondering what they were even doing."

Alisa:"What exactly are you two doing?"

Kota:"Playing video games."

(Y/n):"And I'm the one who won this match!"

Kota:"Only cause I wasn't focused!!"

(Y/n):"*Smirking* Cuz you lost your focus at the last second!"

Alisa:"Wait have you two been playing games this whole time we got back?"

(Y/n)/Kota:"...........Maybe...."

Alisa:"*Sighs* Anyway (Y/n) we've been given a mission together with Lindow."

(Y/n):"Really? Well alright I'll be down in the lobby in a bit."

"Alisa nods and leaves with Kota and (Y/n) getting themselves together before (Y/n) goes off on a mission."

Kota:"You got lucky."

(Y/n):"Haha! Was it bro? Was it?"

Kota:"Alright then once you finish your mission I want a rematch!"

(Y/n):"*Chuckles* Okay just don't lose your focus."

Kota:"Yeah yeah, I won't now go so I can become the Master!!"

(Y/n):"Heh alright man I'll see ya later.*He says smiling while leaving Kota's room to the elevator*"

"Once (Y/n) got on the elevator he hit the Lobby button slowly descending he becomes curious as he wonders how Alisa will be out in the field considering Tsubaki had told them all her scores in the simulation were no laughing matter she'll possibly become highly skilled just as long as she didn't let that stuff get to her head, he hoped that wasn't the case as he didn't need another Eric situation. He shook those thoughts out as he had get his head in the mission as he was going to work with Lindow and Alisa on this mission once he reached the Lobby he already saw the two God Eaters waiting at the Gate."

Lindow:"*Smiles* Hey there (Y/n), glad you can make it."

(Y/n):"Heh glad I could. Hope I didn't take to long.."

Lindow:"Naaahh we've only been standing here for a few minutes."

(Y/n):"Ahh cool so what are we going up against?"

Lindow:"We'll be hunting some Chi-You's for this mission. Two in fact."

(Y/n):"Two Chi-You's that's interesting..but hey at least this will be your first mission with us. *He says smiling.*"

Alisa:"*Nods*."

Lindow:"So you two ready to go?"

(Y/n)/Alisa:"I'm ready!/I'm prepared."

Lindow:"Alright then let's do this."

"And with that being said the three headed off to start their mission now."

"Alisa and (Y/n) were now waiting on Lindow who now showed up with a cheeky smile on his face as he approached the two."

Lindow:"Looks like I get the pleasure of working with both New Types. I'll try not to get in the way hehe!"

(Y/n):"*Rolls eyes* Real funny Lindow."

Lindow:"Heheheh."

Alisa:"You won't, just as long as you Old Types do what your best at staying as our support."

(Y/n):"(Yikes..that was harsh..)"

Lindow:"Hoho! Well, then...I'll have to do my best to live up to your high, high expectations of me.*He says as he puts his shoulder on Alisa's shoulder*"

"As soon as Lindow did Alisa immediately slapped his hand away and stepped back a bit causing both Lindow and (Y/n) to be surprised at her actions."

Lindow:"Whoa..Alright you really don't like me huh? It's fine I'll grow on you."

(Y/n):"You alright Alisa?"

Alisa:"Y-yes..I-I'm sorry...It nothing. I'm fine.."

(Y/n):"You sure?"

Alisa:"*Nods* Y-Yes..."

Lindow:"Heh, I'm just kidding. It was a joke..Hey, I want you to try something Alisa. I believe it might help."

Lindow:"If things get crazy or chaotic, I want you to look up in the sky and find a cloud that looks like an animal, okay? It will help you relax...Hmm you know what try it right now."

Alisa:"W-what?"

Lindow:"That's an order. After that we'll come and call to check up on you, for now we'll be handling the mission for a bit."

Alisa:"But...Why would I do that? It's pointless."

Lindow:"Trust me just look for a cloud okay? As for us we'll be going on ahead."

(Y/n):"Right."

"While Alisa was calming herself down looking for animal clouds (Y/n) and Lindow were walking a bit further with (Y/n) wanting to ask what happened back there."

(Y/n):"Soooo.... Lindow what was all that about?"

Lindow:"Well..Here's the thing..She's got some unique baggage."

(Y/n):"*Looks down while walking*..Hmmm...."

Lindow:"Then again it's hard to find someone who doesn't have tragedy in their history. Sadly a sign of the times."

(Y/n):"(Sadly I couldn't agree more...)"

"Lindow stops and pats (Y/n) shoulder grabbing the young God Eaters attention."

Lindow:"I wanted to ask you since your a New Type as well, can you keep a eye out for her?"

(Y/n):"Of course.(Maybe help her open up a bit more...)"

Lindow:"Thanks. Well come on then."

"After that the two began a bit of their mission by walking a bit further towards the more open field on the left as they now see a Chi-You going into the building with a destroyed opening causing Lindow and (Y/n) to look at each other and nodded at each other before going in closer towards the Chi-You as they see it in the corner behind them as it is slowly eating, but what really stood out was that this Chi-You was injured which meant that this Aragami must have been a fight with another one of its kind getting injured in the process, which meant an easy kill for the both of them, but still had to be cautious considering that a Chi-You can still pose a threat."

Lindow:"Ready?"

(Y/n):"Yeah.."

"The two head in with (Y/n) switching his to Gun Arc and having a close call as he avoided the Chi-You's side chop by sliding forward, blasting the Chi-You right in the face causing it to already to stagger greatly, giving Lindow the chance to jump towards the Chi-You and slash at its chest making roar in what already seems like excruciating pain and falling on to its knees giving Lindow the chance to finish it off as he stabs it through the chest and pulls his God Arc up as he spilts the Aragami in two from the middle of its chest to its head, soon after that he devoured the Chi-You and once he finished (Y/n) began to speak.

(Y/n):"Whatever did this to the Chi-You must have been dangerous."

Lindow:"But hey look on the bright side at least this mission is a lot easier to finish now. *He says chuckling.*"

(Y/n):"Speaking of which should we check up on Alisa now?"

Lindow:"Good point I'm sure she's calmed down by now.*Reaches for his com.*"

Lindow:"[Hey Alisa it's me Lindow how are you holding up?]"

Alisa:"[Im doing a lot better now captain.]"

Lindow:[Heheh well that's good, we're headed your way. Why don't you join us now.]"

Alisa:"[Understood.]"

"After that Lindow ended communication with her as they proceeded to walk back to where they're checkpoint was,only to see Alisa now jumping down from the small cliff only to look and see that Lindow and (Y/n) were walking towards her."

Lindow:"Hey there rookie how are you holding up? *He asks smiling*"

Alisa:"I'm doing better I suppose..I apologize for my early behavior captain..."

Lindow:"Hey Hey no need to be like that water under the bridge. I'm sure overtime you'll get use to me, but for now we have an Aragami to slay."

(Y/n)/Alisa:"Got it./Yes sir."

"Before they started walking towards their target Lindow looked back at (Y/n) giving him a nod, As he does the same as well while Alisa looks straight forward while taking glances at Lindow who is in front of her as she couldn't help, but still feel uneasy about what happened earlier that is until (Y/n) spoke up causing her to look at him."

(Y/n):"You alright? You still seem shaken up.."

Alisa:"*Shakes head* No I'm alright for now..Thank you for your concern though."

(Y/n):"Oh it's nothing just looking out for my teammates."

Lindow:"Hey you two come on we got one more Aragami to deal with."

(Y/n):"Right my bad!"

"After that the two caught up towards Lindow and followed him as they were exploring the area for the last Chi-You and as they step into the church Lindow holds his hand up as they halted immediately and awaited his further orders as Lindow went further in and saw the Chi-you sitting down behind them eating whatever it has gathered causing him to walk back towards (Y/n) and Alisa and started to discuss the plan to them."

Lindow:"Alright so here's what we'll what do (Y/n) you'll be our shooter to throw the Chi-You off guard with your Gun Arc, while me and Alisa will attack it from behind."

(Y/n):"Got it."

Lindow:"Alright then, Alisa you ready?"

Alisa:"Ready Captain."

"Once Lindow and Alisa gotten ready, they were waiting on (Y/n) to get ready. Which he did as he switched his God Arc from melee to assault rifle and taking a few breathers before getting ready as he looked at Lindow and Alisa and nodding at them signaling that he was ready. After getting ready (Y/n) was the first to walk out and immediately got his God Arc ready and fired at the Chi-You while it wasn't looking causing it drop what it was eating to now focus on (Y/n). Which it did as it start firing fireballs at (Y/n) which he dodged successfully though had a moment or two where he almost got burned from it. Once the Chi-You had gotten closer to (Y/n) that's when Lindow and Alisa came out proceeded to finish the rest of their plan, as they were rushing forward Lindow was the first to attack the Chi-You's back causing it retaliate by spinning while having its feathers to impale anything close to it, having Lindow back away and (Y/n) rolling away from it only to have one of its feathers manage to cut his legs causing him to groan a bit in pain but shaking it off as he manage to put some distance between him and the Aragami once he did he focused on aiming at the Chi-You, while Lindow and Alisa were dodging the Chi-You's attacks all while delivering attacks of their own with Alisa jumping forward getting ready to attack the Chi-You, with the preparing its attack as well that is until several shots were fired at the Chi-You causing it to lose its focus which gave Alisa the opportunity she needed to strike the Aragami at its chest which made it cry out in pain as it now fell to the ground dead with (Y/n) now taking sigh of relief and Lindow now placing his God Arc on his shoulder reporting to Hibari that the mission is finish, all while Alisa is devouring the Chi-You."

Hibari:"Good work everyone, we'll be waiting for you back home."

Lindow:"Thanks Hibari."

After that Hibari ended the communication with everyone with Lindow and Alisa walking towards (Y/n) to see how he's doing with his injuries."

Lindow:"How are you holding up (Y/n)?"

Alisa:"Are your injuries severe?"

(Y/n):"Heh nah just scratch nothing serious heh-Ow!"

Lindow:"Heh alright come on tough guy let's go and get you patched up.*He goes and puts (Y/n)'s arm around his shoulder*"

(Y/n):"H-Hey it's not that bad! S-Seriously I'm fin- guh!"

Lindow:"See? Come on no point in arguing."

(Y/n):"Alright..."

After he agrees to have Lindow help support him until they make it to their safe point with Lindow mending the wound just a little until their ride came thus all three of them returning to base and (Y/n) being taken to the infirmary."

"After (Y/n) was patched up despite him trying to convince the doctors and nurses it really was only a slight cut they still patched him to up and just told him to take it easy for now which he complied. After he left the room he was not long afterwards confronted by Alisa and was told that they had another lesson with Doctor which prompted (Y/n) to go and follow her. Once he did they both got on the elevator and (Y/n) started to speak up wanting to start a conversation so he discussed the about how skilled she was causing her to smile a little and says that she is thankful for the simulation tests that she's done. She says that (Y/n)'s performance wasn't all that bad either but she did notice how he got a little sloppy which causes him to chuckle and agree that he is but he's improving as much as he can which she couldn't help but nod and agree to his statement. He then asked what she thought about with Lindow which immediately caused her to clam up which made (Y/n) look at her and when he saw that she wasn't saying anything he grew concerned that maybe he touched a sore spot sadly before their conversation could go any further the elevator the two then got off and started walking to the door once they entered they saw Kota who was nodding off and Dr.Sakaki who were just standing idly by waiting."

Dr.Sakaki:"Ah I see you two are early and together this saves us much more time let's begin."

"After that (Y/n) and Alisa sat down and began hearing Dr.Sakaki's lecture."

Dr.Sakaki:"Aragami. When Oracle Cells were first discovered, they maintained an amoeba-like form. Harmless, delicate...how little we knew."

(Y/n):"(No kidding...)"

Dr.Sakaki:"Shortly after that, we discovered the first Aragami in earthworm form. Within six months the first large-scale creatures appeared.."

Dr.Sakaki:"And before a year had passed, an entire continent had fall prey to their rapid domination."

(Y/n):"......"

Dr.Sakaki:"It was unprecedented. Even with their unique talents, taking the form of that which they consume, we never anticipated this."

Dr.Sakaki:"Now in the strictest sense, Aragami do not evolve. That is beyond their current capacity."

(Y/n):"?!"

Dr.Sakaki:"The absolute fact of the matter is, the Oracle Cells themselves have not changed even one iota from their original gene sequence."

Alisa:"Hold on, that's....that's just impossible. The cells change form don't they?"

(Y/n):"(Exactly.)"

Dr.Sakaki:"In a way. The Aragami, you see- -Well, they're just like you are in this classroom, in this moment. To an Aragami, acquiring new forms, new abilities and gifts, is identical to the way that we as humans absorb knowledge."

(Y/n):"Huh...."

Dr.Sakaki:"Yes yes, I know it sounds very far-fetched. Allow me to give you an example."

Dr.Sakaki:"They discover what bone structure would help to move faster in our environments. They analyze the means of flight and then develop them."

(Y/n):"Incredible..."

Dr.Sakaki:"Yes indeed it is! They absorb tons of information every time an Oracle Cell devours anything else. And in 20 years- - 20 years! They've developed an advanced system of form and function and dominated the earth."

"Then Dr.Sakaki motions his head towards Kota causing (Y/n) to move over to him and shake Kota's shoulder only for Kota to groan in his sleep causing Dr.Sakaki to shake his head."

Dr.Sakaki:"Though a shame that the Aragami are not as averse to study as it seems Kota is. They are dedicated and diligent students. Truly it boggles the mind how advanced they've become."

Dr.Sakaki:"In fact latest reports suggest that there is an Aragami out there capable of using a rudimentary missile system."

(Y/n):"!(What the hell? An Aragami like that must be powerful if it can fuse itself to old weapons!)"

Dr.Sakaki:"If true, then they absorbed man-made tools and developed a way to use such devices. I relish the chance to solve this ever-changing puzzle.*He says as he nods*"

Dr.Sakaki:"How those cells must work to incorporate such complex feature into the paradigm...Perhaps one day, we might eve n see the next step: an Aragami that takes the form of a human. Wouldn't it be wondrous?!"

(Y/n):"A human Aragami......(The idea of a human Aragami probably won't happen not at least until like a 100 maybe even more years into the future....At the moment there's no way a human Aragami can happen.)"

Alisa:"I don't think wondrous is the word I would use."

Dr.Sakaki:"I suppose not..At least not right now of course. Anywho we'll continue this lesson later for now class dismissed."

"After the lesson was finish the three then then headed to their respective rooms."

Kota:"Alright you two goodnight."

(Y/n):"Night man see you tomorrow."

Alisa:"Pleasant dreams."

"After that it was just (Y/n) and Alisa who the only ones standing out in the hallway."

(Y/n):"Hey Alisa?"

Alisa:"Yes? What is it?"

(Y/n):"Umm sorry about before...you know with-"

Alisa:"N-no it's fine, I'm sorry for my behavior..I shouldn't have acted like that..."

(Y/n):"*Waving his arm* N-nah really...if your not feeling well just let us know...Well anyway goodnight."

Alisa:"*Nods and slightly smiles* Yes goodnight (Y/n)."

"After that (Y/n) smiles and heads in with him switching out of his combat clothes to his more causal clothes to sleep in. As he jumps in the bed as he looks up at the ceiling and begins thinking to himself."

(Y/n):"*Sighs* The life of a God Eater isn't an easy one...Especially with the weight of not only my life on the line but my teammates. Not to mention my own baggage that weighs on me from time to time...Yep."

"(Y/n) then places his arm on top of his face covering his vision completely as now all he sees is darkness."

(Y/n):"Though if it means keeping the ones I love and care about safe then it's worth it."

"After that (Y/n) removes his arm from his face and switched his position and laid on his left side and closed his eyes drifting into slumber wondering what tomorrow will bring?"
